Took about 10 minutes to be seated and another 10 for anyone to wait on me, but I wasn't in a hurry. I ordered the ginger chicken with fried rice. Food overall was fantastic but I wish I would have ordered it "extra hot". I ordered it "hot", which is the third of four levels of spicy that you can get and it wasn't nearly as much of a kick as I expected. New to the area and trying to find or to go Thai spot. We definitely found a contender! The menu is vast and variable. Had the tom yum soup, cashew chicken, and crispy laad narh. The food and flavors were spot on! Kept saying yum with every bite. Mmmm. Did pickup up so i can't fully vouch for the service. Our order was on time, correct, and food fresh/hot. The cashier was polite but didn't appear happy and wasn't warm friendly but perhaps that had to do with the sign up front asking for patience due to staff shortage. I've ordered takeout from here a few times and it is absolutely to die for. It's the best Thai food in town yo! Delicious pad Thai. Appetizers are above average. Service is NOT good though. Our hostess and waitress never smiled. Seemed angry when we ordered, when we asked for chopsticks and straws. She would leave midway as we asked for something, half-listening. Maybe she was stressed but overall was an unpleasant experience. Thankfully the food was good and the other people seemed peasant, plus a pleasant atmosphere. I would give it 3.5/5 given the poor service, but rounded it up to 4 for yelp. read more

Had high hopes based on the reviews, but was not super impressed. My wife and I had their lunch portion of pad Thai and pad see ew for take out. First of all, the portion size of the pad see ew looked like someone had already eaten half of it and saved the other half for leftovers. It was small and not worth the $8.99. The flavor was definitely there, though. The pad Thai had the opposite problem: the portions were definitely there, but the whole meal was much too sweet. There were other great flavors there, but the sweetness overpowered them. I will say that maybe eating in would give a different experience, so keep an open mind for that. But based on our one experience, I would not suggest this place, at least for lunch. read more

I have been here about 5 times now and I have never had a bad experience. The food is always good and the service is quick and the price is around the same as the other Thai places in this area. Walking in, it is a dimly lit - more intimate setting with an awesome bar wall (about 10 feet of wine bottles from bar height up) - this place is decorated well and creates a good ambiance. The food has always been great, I haven't strayed too far from my norm (Pad Thai and Orange Chicken) because I know that I will get a great meal and be satisfied afterward! Yesterday we decided to get an appetizer and we settled on the Chicken Satay - this was a great decision, however, it was most definitely an appetizer for only two and no more (small serving size). The Chicken Satay is thinly sliced chicken on skewers and then grilled - it also comes with a sweet cucumber salad (amazing!) and peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was good, but I wish it were a bit hotter (spice) and a bit thicker - but I love that it was soft chunks of peanuts in it. I got the Orange Chicken and got it as spicy as it could be and it was AMAZING - I have never gotten it that spicy but it added the right amount of kick that I was looking for and satisfied my craving! Jordan got the Thai Basil Chicken Fried Rice (his go-to for any Thai place) and he was said it was great and the medium spice level was perfect for him! I tried some of his and I liked it too - oftentimes I think the basil can overpower the rest of the flavors, but this was the perfect combination to please the palette. The service here is quick - I think that is the best way to describe it. I am not offended by this at all, but it definitely is just that - service. There is little to no small talk/ pleasantries, but my drink was always full and my food was ordered and delivered in a timely manner. Overall this is a great place to eat and they have awesome food - also be sure to check out their daily specials (one is pictured below) because they sound amazing! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Went twice in a week and both times I had super bad experiences with the service. I'm not sure if she is the owner but is the only lady working in the restaurant and she is super rude. She will make sure that you know she wants you to leave. She would take your plate even though you're not done (did it the two times I been there) you would ask for drinks and she will ignore you. If you're in the Whitestown area and want to try some Thai food there are other Thai places right in front of this one. Don't waste your time going to this place. We took the family out last night. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Grandpa got tampoura, Grandma got drunken noodles with beef, Mom had drunken noodles with chicken, my sister had soup and a salad and I had the orange chicken. My i ken was very spicy and I ordered it medium...we had plenty of water on the table so I was ok! The plate presentation was amazing... almost too pretty to eat! Started off with the appetizer plate which was good, but did not realize everything was battered in tempura and deep fried on this plate. Good way to sample dumplings, tried fish cakes for the first time(not my fav), crab Rangoon's, calamari and fried veggies. Dipping sauces were good but tasted very similar. When we moved to Indiana in 2007 (from Dallas), my kids had two primary complaints. "Mom, it's cold here and the food has no flavor. Can we go home?" Well, we didn't, but over the last fourteen years we've only found a small handful of eateries worth the hassle. We just moved to this part of Indy a few months ago, and my tastebuds are in heaven! Shrimp tempura had 2 shrimp tempura 1 onion ring and potatoes. Drunken noodles- I love Thai food and in every city I get drunken noodles, this is far the worst. Masaman curry is good but not great. And hospitality was the worst hence the rating. We went in 4 people and a baby. We asked for high chair. The server asked us to move baby out of her chair and keep her between two people and she said 'it's hard to walk, can you please keep baby in between the two people'. This place is phenomenal and beautifully decorated. I've never had Thai Sweet Iced Tea before but it was delicious. My mom got the green curry, my son got chicken satay, I got chicken and vegetables in a peanut sauce. We had rangoons and pumpkin custard for dessert. Tasty Thai in the mall area of Meijer Whitestown. We had spring rolls appetizer two specials last night, the Crispy Chicken Pad Thai and Khao Soi. The Pad Thai had big chunks of boneless fried chicken, and the Khao Soi was a yellow curry with a drumstick and some fried noodles. Food is good. Service is the worst. The one waitress that is always there is one of the rudest people I have ever met. She will lie to you and argue with you. She has been extremely rude to female diners that have come with us before. We have been a few times and it is pretty much the same every time. She is the only waitress and front person so she is the face of the restaurant which is a shame because she has a terrible personality. Restaurant would be much better if she was in the back and they had someone else out front. I would recommend going to the other Thai place if you are in the Whitestown area.
