Celebrated my mom's bday here. The food was all so good! Small space but we fitted everyone. The spice level was not too spicy. Service was nice. Tom yum 4/5 Was good and also big sharing size Spicy fish 4/5 Not that spicy but was good crisp. Birds nest noodle 5/5 Kids love this dish. Good amount of sauce. Massamum curry 4/5 Good but small portion Roti 4/5 Tasty appetizer but also small in portion.

deceptive business practice and charge on pad thai they have on their website pad thai with chicken - no charge. I wanted to add a second protein of shrimp. they do not just add a charge of +$2 for the shrimp. they try to DOUBLE charge me for the chicken AND shrimp. So a meat charge of +$4 . I could pay this. But it is deceptive and upsetting. On principle I will not. Imagine if I could not pay this and they did this to someone. Terrible. So I will on principle now go somewhere more expensive in sugar land town center. Happily leave because that is wrong. When I ask them about it. They said charging double was intentional and fine. Hearing that made me feel sick. Never coming here. Will never recommend any friend of mine to come here. I am very saddened because I came back thinking I was supporting a local small family? business. I have been twice before this.

Located in a small plaza next to a highway and a lot of empty land is Thai Square, serving delicious Thai comfort food in a homey setting. As always when I visit a new Thai place I have to try Pad Thai and Curry, and here I was super amazed. Their Pad Thai was the perfect balance of sweet and savory and everything from the texture to the toppings was sensational. That wasn't it though, because their Yellow Curry was fragrant and creamy and paired perfectly with the white rice. With a sizable amount of options on their menus, Thai Square is a place I must revisit. I came on a Sunday night and the place was almost completely empty. Service was super quick and the lady that took our orders was very sweet and kind. The place is very homey and has a comfortable atmosphere. I hope we came on an off day because this ace deserves all the business it can get. My mouth is watering just thinking about my next visit to Thai Square, and I can't wait to cone back. 10/10!

we ordered food through Uber Eats. This place is the only thai place in richmond that is free delivery off uber eats so we decided to give it a try - Pad See Ew Beef and Spicy Fish w/ Roti instead of rice. For both dishes, we got medium spice level. WOW. the fish was so crispy and delicious!!! The fact that it was delivered to our home and it was still crunchy... 5 stars immediately. The roti was a tad bit oily.. BUT it was crispy out the outside but thin and soft .. great texture. The red curry that came with the fish, LOVED it. Husband said Pad See Ew was a 8/10.. he wished it had more sauce and the flavor was a bit different than what he was used to. Nonetheless, this place is yummy! will definitely be ordering again. Forgot to take pictures until mid meal because it smelled so good and we were starving.

We were looking for a good Thai place in sugar land and we happened to want to try out this spot since my sister said every where else she's tried was okay. We didn't want to drive down to bellaire and was in the mood to try somewhere new to us. Service was good, ambiance wasn't anything special and usually those are the places I feel like are more authentic. --Roti Dip (5/5) Surprisingly flavorful. Usually at other restaurants I want to soak the roti in the sauce but not here! --Pad See Ew (5/5) Thick thick noodles with lots of flavor, that hint of sweetness soaked into the noodle. I feel like some places miss that mark for this dish. Comes with regular broccoli and Chinese broccoli which I enjoyed as well. --Spicy Chicken Wings (5/5) Crispy, sweet, savory, sour chicken, but it wasn't spicy. Lots of flavor to the core, it wasn't good when we to-go'd it the leftovers though. --Crying Tiger (3/5) Beef was tender but there wasn't much flavor to this either. --Basil Fried Rice (2/5) The rice was still hard and the flavoring was ok. I didn't see any eggs in my fried rice either.. I guess we have to add it in there if we want it but I assume all fried rice had eggs. I definitely need to come back and try other dishes to see if I really LOVE this place. So far so good!

Tried Thai food at every place and it doesn't compare to this location. WOW. Try the tom yum soup. It's delicious. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and the service is great. I recommend this place to everyone and even my kids who only eat chicken nuggets, eat here.

Our party of three dropped in for lunch. All of us ordered off the lunch menu. We ordered pork Gui Kua ( flat rice noodle ), fried chicken fried rice, and tofu Pad Thai to share family style. The best dish was the Gui Kua. There was plenty of sliced pork and the seasoning of the dish was balanced. The rice noodle was not greasy. The chicken fried rice dish was ok. The fried chicken was a piece of breast. It kind of remined us of a Japanese katsu, but not as good. The fried rice was on the salty side. Pad Thai, a signature dish of any Thai restaurant was a disappointment. The noodle was too dry and out of balance with the tangy and sweet profiles. It was too tangy. The tofu count was too few, four small pieces only. The tofu itself was so rubbery. The dish was also missing the crushed peanut. This dish didn't measure up to so many other Thai restaurants. Table service was excellent. Prices was competitive. There are so many better Thai eateries in greater Houston area, so we will not return.

Ive been here several times for lunch but I'm just getting around to reviewing it. I like Thai Square. The quality of the food is very consistent and flavorful. I have had several dishes here over my several visits. I'm a spicy guy, so everything I get at any Thai restaurant is going to be max heat. With that being said, I haven't had anything here that was unbearable but some dishes have been very spicy. My last visit , I had the Pumpkin Curry with shrimp. It was very good and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it. The service is very straightforward. One thing I try to do at restaurants when I go is ask for recommended dishes, even if I'm very familiar with the cuisine. This is one constructive criticism I have for the staff here. I've asked and was just told, order whatever I like. While, I am very familiar with Thai food and what I like, a person new to the cuisine or restaurant may not have the confidence to just choose what they like or may not even know what they like. While this is not a huge deal, it is an area for improvement that I saw. In contrast with some other Thai establishments in the area that have been more customer focused when it comes to inquiries about the menu. The ambiance is casual and relaxed. I have never had to wait long for my food and I will continue to return in the future.

Nice hole in the wall Thai restaurant in Sugarland. Food came out quick. I liked the duck curry a lot. I saved the curry sauce and added more meat to it at home. I would be careful with what spice level you get for the Tom Yum soup. I think I got the middle level and my mouth went numb.

I live in New Territory for the past 20 years. I've heard great things about the food at the establishment. I have visited this place about 2 times and the customer service is horrible. The Thai lady that's handles the orders goes above and beyond to slap my payment card and receipt on the counter. She never gives me my money from her hand to mine. I held my hand out and she puts my card underneath my hand. How disrespectful!!! So if you are African American this is the treatment you will receive and she is the owner of the establishment. I have never been treated like this in my life. read more

Hands down one of the best Thai spots in Texas that has halal options. Their chicken and beef is halal. I'm a fan of their cream cheese crab wontons. Their spicy chicken wings are great too. Also tried the basil fried rice and drunken noodles which was yum definitely recommend this place! read more

Tried out the place after neighbors were all talking about it. Did take out and the service was quick. Ordered crispy shrimp rolls, chicken pad thai, chicken fried rice and beef Gra-Prao. Everything was fantastic. Being first time I was not sure about spice level. We ordered mild (ranges no spice to hot). Now that I know mild I would go with a medium when I return. Highly recommend. read more

Sadly i don't have any photos, but i'm so glad to finally have a thai place very very close to home! I was nervous to try this place if i'm being honest because with a lot of these new thai restaurants popping up recently they can be a hit or miss. This place was actually very good! I've only ordered to-go and each time the food has came out fast. The food itself is so full of flavour and can be spicy (if you ask) the employees are very nice and helpful. The food can be kinda oily but what place isnt? I cant wait for the next time I decide to eat here! Def a new fave of mines. read more

Someone recommended this restaurant and I can't thank them enough. Finally, we have a great Thai place in Sugarland! It's better than Thai Gourmet in my honest opinion. I was devastated when TG closed its doors and haven't found a replacement since. I've even resorted to cooking myself! As soon as I stepped in, I took a whiff and sensed that serious cooking takes place here. I ordered three dishes, noodles, curry and a salad. After taking my first bite, I immediately ordered a to-go for my extremely picky teenaged son. I am a light eater and would typically pick at my food and would always have leftovers to take home. I gobbled up everything, practically licked the plates. Just as I had expected, my son loved his food! It is now 3 hours later. I am reminiscing the fabulous lunch I had as I'm writing this review. I didn't take any pictures this time but I will be going back often. I'm confident that everything on the menu is authentic and absolutely delicious. read more

I'm from out of town and wanted some Thai food. I ordered chicken pad Thai, shrimp and pork egg rolls, and white rice. I have had chicken pad Thai many times and I didn't like this place at all. The pad Thai had a weird taste. Won't go back again. read more

Thrilled to have found this gem here in Sugar Land. They've been open for only 1.5 months. Loved their Thai beef jerky and their dipping sauce was spot on! Their red curry was delicious and creamy. Pork Thai basil was packed with flavor! Their roti with curry dip was soooo good! Their yum woon sen was delishhhhh. I'm so glad we don't have to drive way into town anymore for good Thai food. The owners were super friendly and attentive. Their level 4 spice is real Thai spice so be careful if u can't handle the heat. Lol Thanks guys for serving great food! We will be back. read more

The first thing I had from here was the Thai Tea! If you like a good strong Thai tea, you'll love this! The mango sticky rice was delicious! New hidden gem in New Territory--fantastic Thai food and friendly service. We had the wings and roti dip as appetizers, then green curry and pads se ew for our mains as well as Thai tea. Everything was really, really delicious. I would go as far as to say it's the best Thai food in Sugar Land. They were a little overwhelmed in the kitchen last night but they will figure that out soon as they just opened. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, portions were generous. My only complaint was that we had to pay extra for rice for the order of curry. I know some restaurants do that but it seems to me that it should be included in the price. read more

The food is good, I'll say that much, but the customer service is terrible. I think it's only a 4-5 employee establishment but out of the 2 waiters (husband and wife???) the wife is very short, impatient, and not understanding, might as well simplify it and say she's rude. She tells you what you can order, you can't tell her. Food is ok, but the customer service really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Came here 3 times and 3rd times the last. I'll go to the thai restaurant on dairy ash ford and 90 beside dynamic fitness, the waitresses there are extra friendly, they do know how to take care of customers. read more

The service is atrocious. They are very stingy with boxes for leftovers but the worst part was when the server dropped the plastic carry bags on the dirty floor and then picked them up and asked us to use them. When I said "no, that fell on the floor so give me a new one", she made a face and walked away and literally handed that dirty bag to the next table over customer to take their leftovers home in. I refuse to eat in a place that has such a obvious hygiene issue. read more

Love the food here!! Authentic Thai food. We've ordered pad Thai, pad see ew, papaya salad, fried rice, eggplant with beef, etc. Everything has been delicious! I got the seafood pad see ew for lunch today and it was awesome. I did 3/5 spicy and my wife thinks I should have done 2/5. It was pretty hot, and we love spicy food. Other than that, the mussels, shrimp, squid, and scallops were perfectly cooked and they had great vegetables too. The sauce was not too salty and the noodles were nice and chewy. Definitely going back to get more things next time. Glad this place is in the neighborhood. read more

My husband and I found Thai Square completely by accident. We took a chance and we are so glad we did. Our lunch was delicious. We had Yum Tum soup, chicken Pad Thai and sweet and sour pork. The heat on each dish was as requested. The food was fresh. Each dish was well prepared and flavorful. They were doing an active take out business as well. We made sure to get the takeout menu. We'll be eating there again soon. read more

We live very close to this restaurant and we are so grateful they opened! Quick and tasty takeout! Unfortunately- I haven't tried that many dishes because I crave the Pad See Ew continuously, so I've had that 3 times and it's delicious. Maybe I've finally gotten my fill and can start to try other plates... maybe. My fiancé has really enjoyed their Pad Thai and the Pad Makuer, I've tried a bite of those too and thought they were great. We also love the crispy shrimp rolls- how are these so good!? Please support this great local restaurant so I can selfishly continue to enjoy them for many years to come!! read more

The chicken satay was just okay, but the sauces made it better! The chicken wings were really good, and the sweet chili sauce paired great with it! For my entree, I went with the khao soi (curry egg noodle). Everyone was wowed by the presentation! The flavor of the curry was great, and the mild level spice was perfect for me. I really liked how the soft egg noodles paired with the crispy fried noodles on top! My only issue with it was the chicken in the curry, which was quite dry. The chicken pieces were quite thin, so it was probably overcooked. I would definitely come back for the khao soi and chicken wings!

Once we got home, the food was delicious! We were both impressed by how much veggies and meat were in our dishes. My green curry wasn't mostly curry but it was FULL of chicken, peppers, and bamboo. I wasn't just scooping plain curry at the end. This is such a different experience than most places. A few weeks later we came back with some friends and were not disappointed. My friend's 7 year old got a pad see ew by himself and it seriously looked like he hadn't eaten at all at the end of the (that's how big the portions were). My friend only ate half of his food too and said he didn't realize how generous the portions were. We all enjoyed our food and left satisfied. Yum! Highly recommend!

I ordered some of my favorites like pad Thai, Thai tea, spicy eggplant. They are all very delicious and yummy. I want to highlight the spicy fish. This was my first time ordering it and definitely added to one of my favorites. The fish was so crispy, so fakey and when paired with their cream curry it was so delicious. Thai spice kick is on another level, lol. the Triple flavor fish want another item I enjoyed, Crispy exterior and flakey on the inside, with their sweet sauce just perfect. Thai Siam is one of the best halal Thai options in the city.

Once sat we waited about 5 minutes for drink order. Placed order for fried chicken (they were out!) and open face turkey. Switched to blackened salmon. With baked potato / salad xtra seasoned veggies. This is a neat atmosphere and you really wanted this meal to be good so you could return but unfortunately, it just was a miss. The baked potato was not fully cooked, so it was very difficult even to cut it in half. I'm not sure what happened on the season vegetables, but they were literally burnt so I'm not sure if they saute them after they flash boil them? So the broccoli was burnt and mushy, and the carrots were hard as a rock. The portion size was very large, except for the salmon, which was about 5 ounces. The menu called for it to be blackened, but there was very little if any seasoning on it at all, and certainly it was not blackened. Turning attention to the turkey plate, it was not nicely carved in the ocean slices of turkey rather it looked like pulled apart, sandwich meat on not so high-quality white bread. I definitely think there's a lot of room for improvement, but it's a risk given so many restaurants in the general area to stop back. Del was our server. He was very polite and did a good job.

Four out of the five of us had the chicken fried steak. There are two sizes available. These come with two sides. The onion rings are some of the best ever. The fried okra was exactly what we expected. The collard greens were well seasoned and exactly what Icc bc was looking for. The fresh house salad was huge with homemade dressings and pickled okra spears included. They also serve lots of burgers and numerous other entrees with lots of side dish options. I might also mention that the prices were quite reasonable considering portion size and quality. The ambience had everything from license plates aligned into the shape of Texas to singing and dancing Grinch. I would definitely pay a visit to this local establishment. I know that I will return next time I'm in town.

my brother and i came here on a a saturday night - it was pretty busy and it took awhile for them to take our order & also for our food to come out. it seemed like they had a lot of to-go orders before they could get to serving their dine-in customers. we ordered: spicy chicken wings - 4/5 (a bit too spicy to enjoy) beware: these definitely have a kick to them. we constantly kept chugging our water in between bites lol pad see ewe - 3.5/5 i really liked the smokey chargrilled taste and the thickness of the noodles. however, the beef was somewhat dry and there was barely any egg or broccoli. i felt like we were mostly just eating noodles. red curry - 4/5 typical red curry with chicken, bell peppers, carrots good but not spectacular i wish they gave us a little bit more than just one small bowl of white rice to go with this curry read more

We heard good reviews and decided to give it a try. We were highly disappointed. The service was not good at all. The restaurant was full but there were only 2 people who took care of all the customers. We sat for a long time before we were served. When my food came, it was just luke warm. The food was substandard - I ordered basil fried rice. I love that dish but this was oily and had only one broccoli, couple bokchoys and no other veggies. I will not return. Love this place. Delicious I've tried the noodle dishes, rices dishes, and curries, and they're all very good. I would change nothing, except how often I order their food.
