Cute little restaurant tucked away in this strip center. They probably have about 10 tables but the decor looks nice and welcoming. We ordered the calamari appetizer, Tom Yum soup, and green curry. All we so fresh and great flavors. The calamari wasnt your normal ringed calamari and the batter felt more like fish batter - heartier and thick. My green curry had so much flavor and lots of veggies and chicken. My husband's Tom Yum had a rich tomato base and lots of noodles and veggies. It was a bit too sour for my taste but he loved it. Our server was also very nice. I hope they can get more business. One of the best Thai places in Houston!

Cute local spot in Missouri City. The owner is very nice and the service he provided was great. I tried the garlic fried fish - red snapper. It was crunchy crispy fried. I was hoping for more fish meat in each bite but it was more of a crispy fried taste. The batter and seasonings were great on it tho. My boyfriend had the pad ginger with beef and he thought it tasted great as well. Though he did mention if they had put 3 spoons on ginger, 2 spoons would have been enough. There was no skimping on the ginger. We also had the tom yum soup as a starter and that was very rich in flavor. I loved that. And the mayo with sticky rice was delicious as well.

Chicken pad kee mow - 9.5/10 - Got this medium spice and it was perfect and flavorful, noodles were cooked well Chicken spicy basil stir fry - 9/10 - Soo tasty, i would personally get this with more spice Crispy rolls - 9/10 - These were so crispy and i loved the vegetable filling This spot has become one of my favorite halal thai spots in town (probably after thai square). I liked everything we tried and would definitely go back here

I think this is one of my favorite Thai places in the southwest area in terms taste, portion-size, price, and service. Smaller restaurant and has a very home-y feel to it. Plenty of parking in a lot. The first day I came here, the A/C wasn't working but the staff was really accommodating to seat us closest to the fan and offered to move us when another party left so the fan wouldn't be blowing the napkins every where. I think they are very friendly, check up often, and fast. My SO loves their roti but I agree with another reviewer: it's like a deep fried pancake though it does taste good. I love all their stir-fry dishes, noodles, and curries (great flavors and not water-y like some places). I don't think you can go wrong with anything here and the portions are very generous. They also stuff the take-out boxes for to-go orders (which is not common - I know many places that give smaller portions compared to dine-in) and they package it thoughtfully to prevent anything from spilling. A favorite of mine and I love coming here!

We ordered to go for our lunch meeting. The packaging was well done. No spills. It retained heat for a good 30 mins after it was dropped off at our work. The food was alright. What stuck out was the chicken satays and crispy rolls (my favorite of the take out) and roti. I would order these three again. The roti is more like a deep fried onion pancake. I did like that they cut it since we had around 10 people eating all of this. The rice had a kick and very dense. It's made with jasmine rice. It is a good filler. The pad kee mow was meh. I liked the ingredients but the noodles were broken up a lot so texture was off. There was red curry but it was more like soup. Edible but not again. Btw, everything is in the oily side. But not too oily.

As someone who hasn't eaten much Thai food this was a great first experience. Called in the order ahead and it was coming out the kitchen as soon as I arrived. I enjoyed the golden bag wontons and my husband really enjoyed the Pad Thai. The chicken in the sweet and sour stir fry was chewy but had good flavor so if I had it again I'd get a different meat

Overall good food and fast service. The crispy egg rolls had a weird taste to them so wouldn't suggest getting them. The soup that comes with your lunch had no meat in it and little vegetables but the flavor was good. The green curry was yummy! It's clean inside and there wasn't a lot of people.

Went to @thaihalal.bistro recently, enjoyed this spot previously and was the same this time. this time ordered the Wings, Satay, Fryer Kaprow Blessing Beef, Pad Kee Mow, Pad Garlic and the Thai Iced Tea. and honestly I can't say anything negative about any of it. Wings - deep fried with Thai sweet sauce were just perfect. Chicken Satay - tender juicy chicken, and the peanut just goes so well with it. Fryer Kaprow Blessing Beef - this is a house special item and it was amazing, cropped Beef with green beans, Thai Chili, served with rice and a fried egg. probably my favorite item I've tried at this place so far. overall this is a great place. have had an excellent experience everytime I've been here.

Roti. Pricey for the quantity, but delicious!

Halal or not, the food here is simply amazing. So far, I tried their roti, Tom yum soup, pad Thai, fried rice, and various curry dishes - everything was amazing and the portions were satisfying. The Tom Yum soup here is superb. I would rate it in my top three for sure. I tend to select a spice level too high for me and regret it in the end, so beware and learn from my mistake! Level 3 out of 5 is perfection. The service during our last visit was outstanding. We celebrated a birthday here and our waiter was very accommodating and nice. Service makes a huge difference in overall experience. Interior is ok. Lots of cultural decorations and murals. Lots of natural lighting. No major wow factor but it's all about the food and service. They have specials on certain days of the week (I think either tTuesday or Thursday), so if you want a deal, something to consider.

I ordered Uber eats from Thai Halal Bistro. They were running a special one the chrispy rolls, buy one get one free. Both items were very delicious and warm by the time I got them. However, if I had to pick my favorite it would have to be the chrispy rolls. I'll definitely eat from here again.

Great little Thai place tucked away in Sugar Land. Stopped in for lunch one weekend based on a recommendation from a friend. Ending up leaving with a full belly of delicious food. Our table ordered three dishes: pad thai, fried rice, and green curry. Pad thai: classic flavors, the noodles were cooked well, and the chicken was not dry at all. A mix of sweet and savory, this is probably my most ordered dish at Thai places. This place makes one of the top versions. Add the squeeze of lime and crushed peanuts on top: perfect. Fried rice: this is a dish I would normally skip. For me, fried rice is a Chinese dish and I mever paid attention to it on Thai menus. But that changed a few months ago and I haven't gone back since. Moist and packed full of flavor, this is very different from a traditional fried rice. With slices of chicken, green onions, and perfectly cooked rice, this one was a winner. Green curry: we ordered this one as medium spicy and it was perfect. The spice was definitely there but not too much to overwhelm the dish. The bowl was filled with chicken, bell peppers, onions, green beans, and eggplant. The eggplant ended up stealing the show. It was delicious!

Great new add on in sugarland/ Missouri city ! Fresh & authentic entrees. Inviting wall art, host and servers. It was soft opening for them but they were busy and attentive! It is a bit inside in the strip but should fast become noticeable due To their attention to detail. Spice levels is not very high. But fish sauce add on can add to the hotness!! Soup was good but a bit thin consistency! Will try again soon!

My only suggestion is to eat the sticky rice right away, as it hardens quickly once it cools. For my entrées, I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and the Lobster Curry. Both dishes were packed with bold flavors and spice. It was my first time trying lobster curry, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The lobster was cooked perfectly, buttery, and not tough at all. You also have to try the Thai tea! It was refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. Whether you're looking for lunch, dinner, takeout, or a date night spot, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. The curry and roti alone were worth the visit. The curry was unbelievably rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful, the kind of dish where every bite has a slightly different note of spice, sweetness, and warmth. It was comforting but still complex, and the roti was perfect for soaking up every bit of it. I also tried the salmon green curry, which I've surprisingly never seen offered before. It was outstanding. The salmon was tender and buttery, and it absorbed the green curry beautifully. The curry itself had a vibrant, fragrant heat balanced with creamy coconut and fresh herbs. Easily an 11/10. For the kids, we ordered the chicken satay, and even that was exceptional. The seasoning was incredibly well balanced, savory, slightly sweet, and gently spiced without being overpowering. It's rare for a "kids" dish to be that thoughtfully prepared. And the peanut sauce with the spring rolls deserves its own mention. I'm usually not even a peanut sauce fan, but this one completely changed my mind. It was silky, bold, slightly sweet, with just the right depth of roasted peanut flavor. I genuinely wanted more of it. Service was just as impressive as the food. The place was fairly busy during lunch, but the staff were attentive, quick, and really on top of everything without making the experience feel rushed. What stood out the most for us as a family was how welcoming they were to our kids. We have three children all under six, and while the restaurant might not be considered a typical kid-focused place, the team made us feel completely comfortable. They were warm, patient, and just as attentive to the kids as they were to my wife and me, which we really appreciated. Amazing food, great service, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back.

Service (4.5/5): Overall, the service was quite good. Efficient and attentive. Two of the main things I look for. Food (4/5): I went with the combination pad see ew which comes with chicken, beef, and pork. Pad see ew is my favorite Thai dish and it is done at a high level here. The noodles are perfection. The sauce is perfection. And there's a good amount of meat. It's a little pricey though I get that you're getting three meats. That seems to be the trend at Thai Stellar. We stayed away from the satay appetizer for the same reason and opted for the more affordable egg rolls (2). Which were crispy and complimented nicely by some sweet chili sauce. It's far west Pearland so a little bit of a drive from where I live in Pearland. It is located in a shopping strip and parking was not an issue. I don't think reservations are required, but my brother called ahead just in case and our table was awaiting when we arrived. I had mixed feelings about the customer service. It started off strong but as time went on our waiter was less and less available. Luckily, the great food made up for mid service. This was our first time here and we weren't sure what the portion sizes were like. Their menu is like other Thai restaurants and categorized by appetizers, soups, salads, fried rice, noodles, curries and some other specials. We made sure we didn't double up on anything and got a spread that gave us a little bit of everything. When the food came out, we realized we could've maybe got a few less dishes and still been satisfied as the portions here were huge. The food did come out a little staggered, but were hot and fresh. Me personally, I went with the Pad C-Ewe. This or drunken noodles are my go to at most Thai places. They did an excellent job here. The flat flat noodles were cooked to perfection along with the Chinese broccoli. I used for a level four out of five on spice level and they delivered on that. I want to sweat when eating Thai food. I barely put a dent in my dish and this was with doing family style with all our plates. Everything I tried from fried rice to two different curries all hit the spot. I had to practice restraint and not order the mango sticky rice because I physically had no room to put it down. Overall, Thaicoon is another solid Thai restaurant in the Pearland area.
