    Papaya salad with fried chicken

Finally got to try this neighborhood Thai place, had a good experience overall. Food: we got the Tom yum soup as well as the papaya salad and pad Thai. The food was lacking a bit of flavor but still good overall. I think the spicy level was a bit on the milder side Service: service was great, they checked on us and made sure our food came out quickly. We noticed that this restaurant gets a lot of takeout orders so it seems to be popular in the area Ambiance: quaint decorations all around, there's a giant picture of Thailand hanging on the wall, almost makes me wanna visit someday!

This is a small restaurant good for small groups. Service was good. Food came out fairly fast. Ordered the Pad Thai with shrimps, a cup of Tom yum soup, green curry with tofu, and mango with sweet sticky rice for dessert. The Pad Thai was ok. The shrimps were fresh, and the portion was good. However it was missing the lime commonly seen in Pad Thai dishes. Not a big deal. The Tom Yum soup lacked flavors. No sourness but spice level was there. The green curry lacked some flavors too. The mango sticky rice was good. The sticky rice was just a small portion but the flavor was there. The mango was a little tang but it complemented the sweet sticky rice. Overall not very impressed with the quality.

Let me start by saying that I am so upset I hadn't tried this place sooner! I just recently moved back in the area and man oh man am I glad to have this in our area! Food is delicious the first time we dined in and got the chicken pad see eww and the chicken pad kee mow (drunken noodles) medium spicy! Tonight we got to go yellow curry chicken and pad see eww, wow! The flavors always deliver! Definitely one of my new favorite spots!

Unfortunately this was a disappointing encounter. It does pain me to write this review. While the Thai establishment is a nice addition to the Riverstone area to diversify restaurants nearby; it unfortunately did not meet expectations on the quality of the food. This is a casual casual to visit, and while the staff is kind and helpful in taking your order - the food did not deliver. We got the pad Thai, green curry, and eggplant with tofu. The spring rolls were good! We may have gone on a bad day, but to have all entrees come out lacking was a bit surprising. I'd be happy to give it a try again, but do feel that there are better establishments around for time being.

If you are wanting home cooked Thai food with love-- this is the place. The restaurant is small and warm. The people are great! We met John and Kate and they are awesome. My family and I (4 people) decided to order a few items to share so we could try different things. The Chicken Satay & Moo Ping were very flavorful and juicy. Not over cooked and dry at all compared to other places I have tried this dish. The pad thai, you can not go wrong with it at all. Red Curry with Roasted duck was amazing! We loved the sweetness from the pineapple in the dish. The roasted duck was nice and tender.

It was a one woman show!! I assume she was the owner, as she greeted with a smile a sat us immediately, took our order and served. The place is small for sit down but offers a nice ambiance for a quick meal. I loved the little umbrellas hanging throughout!! We had mixed veggies with rice and pad ke mow (pan fried noodles with beef [chosen]). Everything was delicious and tasted fresh!! Such a gem in Sugarland/Riverstone area.

Amazing food, great service, pretty cheap and deserves more business. Never had a bad time there, great to eat in or takeout.

Really enjoyed Thai Thumbs!…read more They have indoor and outdoor seating and we were given the option to sit outside until something opened up inside. They offered to move us, even if we had already ordered, which I thought was nice. There was about eight of us and I thought they did a really good job of being friendly and accommodating. I ended up getting the glass noodles meal with tofu. My only issue was that it was supposed to be mild but was a bit on the spicy side! But otherwise it was delicious. I ended up with a to go box. My friend also got this coconut Matcha drink that looked really cool. I snapped a photo even though I didn't get to try it. But I want to try it one day next time I come back! I think if you like Thai food and you're in the Sugarland area, this would be a good place to go try. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Our server was very attentive, checked in often and noticed when we needed refills and our appetizers cleared. We started with the egg rolls and Heaven Beef as appetizers. The Heaven Beef was served with sticky rice and a flavorful dipping sauce that paired perfectly with the beef. My only suggestion is to eat the sticky rice right away, as it hardens quickly once it cools. For my entrées, I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and the Lobster Curry. Both dishes were packed with bold flavors and spice. It was my first time trying lobster curry, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The lobster was cooked perfectly, buttery, and not tough at all. You also have to try the Thai tea! It was refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. Whether you're looking for lunch, dinner, takeout, or a date night spot, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. Its cozy bohemian atmosphere creates the perfect setting for great conversation and a relaxing dining experience. I'll definitely be back to try more items!

The curry and roti alone were worth the visit. The curry was unbelievably rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful, the kind of dish where every bite has a slightly different note of spice, sweetness, and warmth. It was comforting but still complex, and the roti was perfect for soaking up every bit of it. I also tried the salmon green curry, which I've surprisingly never seen offered before. It was outstanding. The salmon was tender and buttery, and it absorbed the green curry beautifully. The curry itself had a vibrant, fragrant heat balanced with creamy coconut and fresh herbs. Easily an 11/10. For the kids, we ordered the chicken satay, and even that was exceptional. The seasoning was incredibly well balanced, savory, slightly sweet, and gently spiced without being overpowering. It's rare for a "kids" dish to be that thoughtfully prepared. And the peanut sauce with the spring rolls deserves its own mention. I'm usually not even a peanut sauce fan, but this one completely changed my mind. It was silky, bold, slightly sweet, with just the right depth of roasted peanut flavor. I genuinely wanted more of it. Service was just as impressive as the food. The place was fairly busy during lunch, but the staff were attentive, quick, and really on top of everything without making the experience feel rushed. What stood out the most for us as a family was how welcoming they were to our kids. We have three children all under six, and while the restaurant might not be considered a typical kid-focused place, the team made us feel completely comfortable. They were warm, patient, and just as attentive to the kids as they were to my wife and me, which we really appreciated. Amazing food, great service, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back.

However, don't be fools, this place is authentic and has pretty good food. Service is with lots of patience, recommendation for customer without judging, and very kind though my feedback is based on slow customers volume day. Food: Roti - 10/10 it's delicious, the best we had compared to other places. Crispy roti and yummy sweet coconut yellow curry is a good appetizer to start your Thai food journey Basil Thai fried rice with chicken - 9/10, the taste is on the sweeter side and a tad oily for my taste. However, still pretty legit. Add on citrus to cut down the sweetness and will be delicious. Or eating with fermented radish will complement this dish. Khao soi braised beef - 10/10, this dish grew on you. It comes with 2 noodles texture - crispy and yellow egg noodle, braised beef is good quality tender beef, kinda like from beef stew, spicy curry sauce taste on point and made you crave for more.
