I spent the day with my daughter and she recommended this place for lunch (her fav; my first time,) so off we went. Neither of us eat much, but we still ordered a boatload of food for variety, knowing leftovers would be waiting tomorrow. Our order: Fried tofu, Thai wings, fresh shrimp spring rolls, and pad thai. Although we'd ordered shrimp spring rolls, they brought us tofu. We opted not to send them back, and really enjoyed them. The rolls were huge! Light on noodles (thank goodness,) packed with ultra crisp, fresh veggies, and served with a nice peanut sauce. Definitely a do-again. The fried tofu appetizer was cut in thick wedges and fried amazingly crisp, all while retaining the interior creaminess you expect from tofu. The dish was served with a very sweet chili sauce, but I opted to use the remaining peanut sauce from the spring rolls mixed with some hot chili sauce, instead. By the time you finish this review, you'll notice a common theme: SUGAR! The wings were cooked to perfection and then tossed in a very thick, sweet, and spicy sauce; they were good, but WAY too sweet for my taste. Maybe they'd been better if they had less sauce? While my daughter loves the wings, I won't order them again. Finally, the pad Thai was fair, but again, far too sweet for my taste. This place really uses a lot of sugar in their dishes, something I just don't care for, but YMMV. The food portions were big and worth the price, especially the Thai tea. The wait staff were nice and helpful with the menu. We got take out from Thai St recently for lunch on a Saturday. I'm a huge fan of chicken pad thai, and get that any chance I can. My wife tried the garlic pepper chicken. It was ready in about 15 minutes. Price was around $35 total -- a little more than we would've liked to pay for lunch portions. The food was fantastic. I really enjoyed the pad thai and definitely would get it again. My wife liked her garlic chicken as well, and it was enough for her to have for two meals. As a huge Thai food lover, I've been to places all over town and this is hands down one of the best. The place itself is so pretty and aesthetic on the inside and the servers are genuinely nice. My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and we both thought it was absolutely amazing. I ordered the drunken noodles and he ordered the crispy noodles and both dishes were amazing. The spice and seasoning were truly perfect, nothing was too spicy or bland. The vegetables in the dishes were also cooked to a perfect point, which is something I feel is rare nowadays since most restaurants seem to overcook them, leaving them too soft or soggy. Also, it's truly cheaper and way tastier than most Thai places, and the portion sizes are very well served. Definitely highly recommend giving this place a try, you won't regret it! read more

The centennial hills location is good, but nothing like their location behind Resort World on Sammy Davis Jr drive. Came in with my heart set on a specific dish... only to find out they didn't have it that day. Was I disappointed? A little. Was I mad? Nah, life's too short, and this place knows how to recover. I opted for the Tom Yum soup, and honestly, it was a plot twist I didn't see coming. Packed with flavor. I always get the mango sticky rice. It's non negotiable. I wonder if I could eat just that for the main course. Staff was friendly, service was smooth, and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Even when Plan A didn't work out, Plan B showed up strong. Thai St Cafe turned an audible into a win. It's very rare for me to give a one star review however: I ordered pickup and was home in 12 minutes. However... My pad see ewe was cold, mushy and little flavor. My Chicken Satay was also cold and very dry. In addition there are only 4 and they were the tiniest chicken saute I've ever seen (and I eat a lot of Thai food)! First time back here since they change the name of the place, but glad we tried it out. Seem like same flavors which were good, "secret of Siam" was our go too and was afraid since they change the place it would be different but no it was still same good flavors must have kept the cook and I think the workers are the same from what I remember. The menus were large and easy to read (no squinting needed). Lunch specials are available on weekdays only, while weekends are regular menu pricing. We ordered the orange chicken, the orange flavor really stood out, light, crispy batter was delicious. The Pad Kee Mao was decent--not the best I've had, but still enjoyable. This was the 2nd time at this place yet, I do not know what to think of it. The food is alright, I do like that they have Vegan options and even a vegan section on their menu. I had the pineapple fried rice since that is my go to whenever I go to Thai places. It was just ok. My husband on the other hand enjoyed his food. He ordered the shrimp chow mein. We also had the honey toast. That was ok, it wasn't what I've had before but I have to keep in mind that they aren't a specialty dessert shop. I tried Thai Street Cafe for lunch today. A friend and I met up here before they even opened. Our hostess/server was courteous and let us in early to get out of the heat and take in some cool air. She gave us a few minutes to look over the menu though we really didn't need it. My friend always orders pad thai. I almost always order pad see ew. We placed our orders and waited a few minutes for our food to arrive. Portions were decent. My pad see ew had a good amount of chicken. Tender chicken too. The noodles were also tender. Actually, maybe too tender for my liking. I like my noodles to have a bit of chew. These were more soft. Good flavor though. I ordered a spice level 2 of 5. Pretty mild with just the right kiss of heat. Level 3 would probably be about my threshold. Level 2 was pleasent. My friend's pad thai looked more plentiful than my pad see ew. She ended up taking quite a bit to go. I may be tempted to try it were I to go back to Thai Street Cafe again. It looked good. The inside if the restaurant is clean and moderately classy with the black seating. Not entirely comfortable. The bench seating is fine. The seat backs struck me as incomplete. Looking across the table I could see my friend had a padded seat back. I did not. My seat bsck was just painted plywood. Sort of a mixed bag here. Solid food. Good service. However, I wanted to go back for my birthday and again I forgot to take a picture because I was too busy stuffing my face with the excellent ribeye that I was having. And again the meal that we had was amazing the service top-notch and cleanliness is obviously very important to them as well as as it is to Me Thai street Café. We looked at the menu first while the server gave us some time to look at it and grabbed us water. We ordered the lunch special chow mein for the main course and chicken yellow curry. Also ordered shrimp spring rolls to see if it was smaller or bigger portions than other places. The wait wasn't bad at all for the food, it came to us nice and hot in probably 10mins or less. Main course was great today, tasted well balanced and you really can taste the flavor from the noodle to the vegetables which was great. Nothing over powered each other and my son was chowing it down. The chicken yellow curry was just right to me. Most places you usually get no coconut milk taste or you get too much coconut milk flavor. The veggies and chicken portions just right too in my opinion. Not too much of 1 thing at all. The salad was just like the spring rolls without the rice wrapper and shrimp. It came with the peanut sauce which tasted gooood! The spring roll is definitely a bigger portion compared to what other places give and for a good price. The server we had today was awesome and tended to us right away. Seen my cup was empty and refilled it with water as soon as he seen it. He also was quick to help others even though he was the only one working. I give props to him. Also give props to the cooks for making such a delicious meal for my family and I. I definitely will be returning here and I highly recommend everyone to atleast give this place a try. The flavor was just the way I liked it. I like it hot, but I thought to be safe, I ordered a level 3 out of a 5. I would recommend staying at 3. The portions were very good, better than other places. I had enough to bring home for dinner. My friends had the pineapple rice and really like it too. Our waiter, Nick, was so nice and attentive. Always smiling and asking if we needed anything. This was my first time eating here at Thai St Cafe in Centennial. I have had the Sammie Davis Jr location saved in my "places to eat" list but never made it out there. Since we were running errands near by, we decided to give them a try, and I am so glad that we did! Food: Fried Tofu (appetizer): perfectly crispy and not greasy. Pad Thai with Tofu: noodles were cooked to perfection and the flavor was spot on! Panang Curry with Chicken: flavor was perfect, chicken was delicious, and the veggies were cooked perfectly (not over done). Roti (dessert): deliciously warm and tasted so good dipped in the condensed milk. Fried Banana (dessert): reminiscent of the Filipino dessert, turn, the fried bananas were delicious on their own and even better dipped in the honey Drink: Thai iced Coffee: OMG! Thee best! And the serving size is bigger than most places. Absolutely delicious! Service: The husband and wife team were so welcoming, warm and personable. This is my daughters' favorite restaurant. We eat here every week and it is always excellent. They are both vegetarian, there are so many options for them to choose from here. Our go to order is usually the fresh tofu spring rolls, fried tofu, crispy eggrolls, and spicy basil rice with tofu. The pineapple fried rice is also amazing and so is the sweet sticky rice with mango. We are always treated well when dining in and takeout. The portion sizes are plentiful and there is plenty of flavor. Mild to medium spice level is just right with medium being pretty spicy. read more
