Cutely decorated. Very busy night we came on or maybe it is always like this. Server could have been friendlier BUT seeing as she looks like she is the only one taking orders, I kind of get it. Everything we ordered was really good. They have a big selection of different teas. Which my son ordered the green apple one and he enjoyed it. A little frustrating he did not get the tea until after our food was served. Fresh springs rolls says it all. Very fresh and really good with the peanut dipping sauce. I ordered the vegetarian pho bowl. Server just stated we do not have vegetable broth, so I had to order beef. Which is fine, I just didn't want to eat meat that day. But weird you have a vegetarian pho but not the broth to go with it...... Still this was very good but did not like how the tofu was cooked. It was rubbery. The right amount of noodles and the veggies were really good. Did not get refills on our drinks till we had to ask for it. Will have to give this place another try. Cool rainy night tonight... thought I was going for pho but a good banh mi sandwich is hard to find on the north side... and these are good no matter what side of town you are on. Started with shrimp spring rolls. Packed with ingredients and a side of some of the tastiest peanut sauce around. Ordered the crispy prawn banh mi and beef banh mi. The crispy prawn were perfectly crispy and drizzled with a delicious sauce the beef was tender and well seasoned. Bread was both crispy crusted and chewy inside. There was a generous portion of the protein on both the sandwiches. Service was fast and friendly. Glad I found this place. I will definitely try the Pho next time because the bowls coming out of the kitchen looked wonderful. read more

My husband and I moved to Vegas about a little over a year ago and Pho Corner was one of our go-to spots for Pho. We. Love. Pho. That being said, I'm sorry to say this will be the last time we give them our money. The quality has tremendously gone down. We ordered 1 pho special and 1 build your own but was given 2 pho specials. Meat looked old and was half the quantity that's usually given. Spring rolls looked like a 10 year old made them with no care at all. We were confused and had to double check if we ordered from our favorite pho restaurant!! Was in the area and was craving a bahn mi sandwich so decided to try a random place. It was fairly empty when I went in and was seated immediately. My server was very friendly and appeared to be the only one serving and making drinks but he was still very attentive. I ordered the chicken bahn mi and a lavender milk tea. The lavender milk tea was pretty good. Not sure that I tasted lavender and it was very sweet. The server ensured me that the milk teas use non dairy creamer. However after drinking it and letting it process, my body reacted to the drink as if there was dairy in it. If you have a dairy allergy or intolerance I would recommend asking for the ingredients to be sure. The bahn mi was fairly decent. I wish the pickled veggies had more of a pickled taste. Pho Corner is so delicious. I had Pho one time in Cali and there was no flavor but I had a friend talk me into coming here. I tried it and fell in love with Pho! I crave it on a daily.. Well not daily but quite often haha. The customer service is perfect. The young lady who helped us when we got there was very kind and professional. It is very small inside. Came in at 5:45 PM on a Friday, restaurant about 60% full at most. One waitress working front of house by herself, with 3-4 different guys popping out from the kitchen bringing food. Finally ordered around 6:10 PM and got food around 6:40 PM, which is slow for a pho restaurant. Ordered 3x Banh Mi sandwiches and none had daikon or carrots in them. I asked later and they said that they'd run out...but got no warning from the waitress who told me up front they didn't have their crispy prawn Banh Mi available. They seemed to try to make up for the lack of daikon and carrots by loading the sandwiches with jalapeños instead. Pho broth was mediocre and the vermicelli and rice plates were just ok. Picked this place over Pho Aimie because they had Banh Mi, left disappointed on all fronts. Don't recommend this spot at all. read more

My favorite pho spot has finally re-opened! New name, new management, but the same good ol pho. I was a bit nervous at first because I really loved the old owners, but the new owners are just as welcoming. They started us off with complimentary shrimp chips. We ordered pho, bun bo hue, and egg rolls - all were very good. They also have an updated menu with new items that I want to try. First of all, this is a locally owned shop so we're so happy we stopped by on our way back to California! The owner is this super nice couple and they tag team to run their restaurant! I'm a sucker for Vietnamese especially the egg rolls so I had to order some and they were so crispy and full of yummy fillings--you're not eating it right if you don't dip them in the sauce! My boyfriend had the bun bo hue and he said it tasted like home and the broth was savory! My pho also had flavorful broth and they didn't skimp out on the meat and toppings! Sunflower Vietnamese Restaurant is located in North Las Vegas. They offer most of your usual Vietnamese Dishes and they also are a tea house. Soft beverages are served here. Inside is small but cozy. We started out by sharing the pot stickers. Here they are chicken and are deep fried crispy all over. They are served with an extra salty soy based sauce topped with a jalapeño slice. I tried the (bun - salad noodle bowl) vermicelli spicy chicken sautéed. It's a very large generous serving. The chicken was tasty but not very spicy. It also was MASTERFULLY tender and melted in the mouth. The pickled vegetables in the dish were very good. I tried a spoonful of the combination pho (steak, brisket, balls). The broth is beefy tasting but isn't that deeper pho that some places serve. I think it's good and sort of refreshing. It taste like what a good steak sandwich tastes like. I tried a small piece of steak......it had little flavor but my husband said that the brisket was better. Service was efficient. Trying to figure out what's going on here.....yelp. seems to randomly list this location either as sunflower or pho corner. With that said, I think the place has been closed since August and allegedly is open now as pho corner. Well it's not... The place is dark, the building now has a sign replacing sunflower with Pho corner. Ok, places get sold, new owners take over, we always welcome the change and new owners and are sorry to see the old owners who we really liked leave. But life happens.. With that said, today was my third trip here based upon the assumption that it was open... First in August, then early September, then looking at yelp today.. I think people being people, will soon write off this place as a nearby neighborhood place since it's been closed for three months. As much as I loved the old place, I've been forced to get my pho other places both near my house in several old haunts and in Chinatown which quite frankly is only 20 minutes away. Will I go back ? Maybe if I ever can figure out when they have completed their project, but maybe not.. C'mon guys put some real info out there when your going to be open. Ordered delivery since I wasn't feeling that great and wanted some pho. Ordered the rare steak pho with a pork chop rice plate. The pho was just sad. There was hardly any flavor, the color was there but it just tasted like flavored water. They were pretty cheap with the noodles and the meat slices were really chewy and rubbery. So the true test of what makes a pho a pho is the day after. The broth should jiggle after being in the fridge for a couple of hours indicating that the broth was cooked with bones (how a pho is suppose to be made). I mean that's why pho tastes so rich and is actually really nutritious bcs of the bones. But this broth was still watery. I had to add some fish sauce and a bone broth tablet to enrich it a bit. Then the pork chop... they gave a huge portion of rice which was hard - making me think that it's at least a day or so old. The pork chop was super thin and again the flavors weren't really there. I hardly tasted any lemongrass. It was a very disappointing dinner to say the least. I think I'm going to stick to Chinatown for pho. read more

I have been to Pho Corner before but I felt that I needed to go again to review their food properly. I had high hopes since my experiences with smaller restaurants mean I will have quality food with no fuss. Today, I went with a loved one, and we tried their pho special, special combination stir fry noodles, fresh spring rolls, and their signature crispy prawns bánh mì. After ordering, I did notice and appreciate the low music they had playing; they had a comforting ambiance that I love from small restaurants. We had a nice server and got our food around 10 minutes later. Their pho broth was well seasoned and could be enjoyed without any other additions. My bánh mì was also delicious, as I found the sweet sauce that covered my fried prawns addicting! The spring rolls had an even ratio of shrimp to rice noodles, with the peanut sauce making it yummier. The stir-fried noodles were the highlight of my dinner; the noodles were charred but had some bite to them. I really enjoyed the plentiful veggies and meat it had! Overall, I would come again for the food and the friendly staff that told me they'd be waiting for my return! :) read more

I've been to just about every pho place in Las Vegas and this broth is top-notch. The other ingredients could use some work. The noodles were good but there wasn't enough of them. A lot of the meats were mostly fat. The bean sprouts lime and Thai Basil or a little on the limp side. All that being said this was one of the first broths that I pretty much did not need to add any seasoning or anything extra in it. There was a ton of bubbles on top as well. read more

They served it with no pate and the server never said a word whenhe brought it out???? Very shady. Of course, I asked about the pate. He tells me they ran out???? At what point were you going to tell me this???? If I was a customer new to bahn mi and didn't know better, but I do!! On their menu, it reads "all bahm mi are served with a chicken liver spread". For something they said took "30 minutes" to make, there's barely any rare steak, green onions, and rice noodle. I've never seen so much fat on rare steak and I frequent numerous pho spots around the valley. I've never seen something this absurd! Frankly, I was disappointed. Noodles were way underdone and very dry. They were tasty. If they'd been cooked a bit more, and had some kind of sauce, they would have been good. The shrimp tempura was fried too long and were hard. Ate some and tossed the rest. Service, however, was friendly and fast. read more

X.X 's review was right about authentic Vietnamese food! I also dropped by this place today with my family, surprised that it was opened after a few months of being closed. New ownership and yet their service felt smooth. We ordered the Bo Kho with a baguette to dip it in, pork belly banh mi, and fried rice. Yeaaa I know, I should have gotten the pho (I mean it's called Pho Corner), but I'll give that a go next time. I over heard the table next to us say that it was pretty good though, I always try to sneak a look at whatever the other tables are eating. Still, get the Bo kho (basically a Vietnamese beef stew[French influence]) with baguette, has chunks of beef, beef tendons (omg), carrots, potatoes and a very flavorful thick broth that is easily absorbed by the bread. So good. The fried rice had that wok hei taste and a healthy mix of vegetables and shrimp. There are other options too but damn those shrimps were big . Congrats on the grand opening Pho Corner, looking forward to drop by again in the future. read more
