Well, in this case, everything, because this is some great Thai food with an emphasis on ordering ahead and grabbing it to go, and you will be glad you did since the food quality is on a par with most more formal Thai places. With that said, there is also some limited seating if you did want to eat in. My favorites here are the Pad Thai which is excellent and the Yellow and Red curries. I particularly enjoy Yellow because the potato adds a nice texture and a little crunch. All these dishes come with your own choice of protein and selectable spice level from 1 to 10. I generally go for level 8, though I will say this place knows how to do spice, so you may want to be cautious at first if you have not tried before. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food, and I've always received friendly and courteous service when picking up. Tried it for the first time today, ordered basil fried rice with chicken and wontons. Both were very tasty. The basil fried rice was a nice sized portion with a good level of seasonings. The wontons used the wrapper I like best, very thin and crispy. There were two things that struck me as odd. First, the fried rice had two different types of chicken - some in small chunks and some in larger ultra thin flat pieces. The number of wontons in the order was also odd. Normally, an order has six pieces or twelve pieces. My order had five which left me wondering if that was what they usually serve or if one had accidentally been left out. Skye Thai is a small Thai Restaurant located in Centennial. It is mainly a take out restaurant because they only have four tables to sit at inside. It's casual and you order at the counter or call in your order. You order you dishes with a no heat to up to ten for you heat. Dishes come out in take out containers with paper plates and plastic silverware. Short story - The food really was very good but this Thai Restaurant is different and offers some different dishes that we don't usually come across at most Thai Restaurants. I am familiar with Pad Kra Pao. The version here is very good. They hand chop the protein so there is more surface area and that means more flavor. The chicken was also well infused with basil flavor so it was very good. The garlic Brussels sprouts were very tasty. Could have been fried slightly longer but very tasty. I tried the stir fried pumpkin/zucchini with egg with #7 for heat. It was tasty. It was almost too hot for me. All the heat was absorbed into the pumpkin and you got relief from the zucchini that didn't absorb any heat. The zucchini was cooked very nicely and was fresh and crisp. The pumpkin was somewhat mushy but still tasty. Gotta come back to try some other dishes! Worth a try! read more

Second time ordering from this restaurant. I am a bit of a connoisseurof Tom Kha. It is one of my favorite dishes and the most important thing I look for in Thai . Their Tom Kha recipe is severely lacking. The flavors are just not there. I looked carefully at the soup and there was no galangal, I saw one tiny, flake of what looked like lemongrass and one possible kaffir leaf. Normally in good Thai food, you would see a fair amount of these spices in the soup. They were pretty much nonexistent here. Now some recipes call for straining these out, but the flavor was just not there. If the owner is reading this, they should just google the recipe online and they'll see the difference between what is typical and what their soup is made out of. I also ordered Pad Kee Mao aka drunken noodles. It was lacking and vegetables, their menu does say it has bell peppers and there were none. I also ordered it with beef and they put pork. Probably the worst part is the noodles were overcooked. They were too soft. I also ordered red curry with pork And it was pretty good. The last time I ate here, I ordered green curry and the green curry was very good so the curry are good. But two out of three being wrong is definitely a letdown. That being said, the staff is very nice. Hopefully they can look at the recipe of Tom Kha and the drunken noodles and fix these. read more

It contained lots of chicken that was cooked correctly but for me the flavor was lacking. Disappointed! Spouse got green curry with chicken that wasn't that green and in a small container. Food was amazing! We had to go in and try it to support our new local restaurants. We dined in and had chicken satay, pad see eiw /beef and Tom kha soup with chicken and 2 thai iced teas. We dined in. This was a mistake. They really are set up for take out. They don't have bowls for soup, but did give us plastic cutlery and paper plates. But we had fun seeing how brisk business was for take out. It's really great to see them busy on a Saturday night. At least while we were there. The taste of the food was amazing. You can custom order your spice level to your liking. We have had Thai food all over Los Angeles and all over Vegas as well. This is the best in that it reminded us of the food from our all time favorite back when we were in California. Service in the restaurant was nice and it was cool to see obvious family members all chipping in cleaning tables and bringing food out. Definitely coming back again. First time visiting and we loved the food! It is a modest counter service restaurant with a couple of tables for dining in. This is what we ordered and our opinions: Beef jerky with sticky rice: this is delicious. The beef is tender and the bite-sized pieces are perfectly marinated. The flavor is salty/sweet, no spice and habit forming. The sticky rice is a nice counterpoint to the savory beef. Pad Kra Pao: we ordered this with pork. Another great dish. The flavor is distinctly Thai, and the veggies are crisp. Next time I will order this with a fried egg for an authentic taste. Larb with pork: delicious version by Skye Thai. It's served with lettuce cups and fresh sliced cucumbers. We really appreciated the generous use of roasted rice. Panang curry with Beef: another delicious dish. Their version is so satisfying and not as sweet as other restaurants make it, which we found refreshing. We happily took our leftovers home to enjoy later. They still serve in Togo containers if you dine in so I recommend enjoying the meal at home. The employees are super friendly and the place itself if set up modestly. I recently moved to Las Vegas and stumbled across this strip mall restaurant very close to my house. It is quite unassuming from the parking lot but once you enter, we were warmly greeted and immediately felt welcome. The space is very small, seating for about 12, (their business is mostly take out) but very clean comfortable. Our order was taken at the counter by one of the owners, who was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Now onto the food which was outstanding. This was lunch(no lunch specials) and I ordered the Chicken Penang Curry medium spicy and my partner ordered the chicken Pad Thai with a side of extra hot Thai chilies . The food did not disappoint the curry was creamy subtly spiced and mouthwatering delicious. The Pad Thai portion was large and the glass noodles were the thin ones with an assortment of fresh vegetables and white meat chicken. My friend was impressed with the authentic chilies to make his food extra spicy, not the flakes or paste you so often get. This is a relatively new restaurant and by the amount of orders going out the door I can certainly understand why it has become popular, the food and service are stellar, I will definitely be back and back and back, it was that good. read more
