    Curry Puff

I've been craving some genuine Thai Tea, and this place hit the spot! Located inside the Fells Point Market, this little shop was delightful. Me and my homegirl were on a budget, so we only stuck to appetizers. I still think it was a little pricy even after splitting, but I would come here again to focus on the entrees rather than the appetizers. The seating is shared between all the restaurants inside the market hall, and we came at a pretty quiet time. Even though it was slow, we did wait quite a bit for our food. We were given the option to have our drinks served first, giving us some down time to mosey around the rest of the market with something sweet to sip on. We were notified that our food was ready, via text. We had the Curry Puff and Moo Ping Nom Sod. The Curry Puff filling was delicious, and the onion vinaigrette was essential to cut through the rich pastry. We spent most of our time in the food court mumbling through stuffed cheeks about how good the pastries were. The Moo Ping Nom Sod was good, surprisingly not as salty as other Thai restaurants. This enabled you to truly enjoy the vegetables it came with, as well as the steaming hot rice that came individually wrapped, ensuring that the rice would be soft even after opening the container.

Ordered the pad gra pao and basil fried rice. A little underwhelmed overall--portion size was quite small for the price, and the flavors were not super impressive (pad gra pao was bland, basil fried rice was too sweet). Despite no line, service was on the slower side. Indoor and outdoor seating available in the market area!

Hands down THE BEST Thai food in Baltimore! The drunken noodles and the Khao soi are the best dishes they have. The flavor is UNBEATABLE!! I usually get it delivered to my place and appreciate how carefully everything is packaged for the Khao soi because there are so many wet and dry elements that need to be packaged separately. The food is so fresh and SPICY! I love the little stall in Broadway Market and love sitting outside whenever I do just get it to go. The Thai tea is also excellent here. The food is always delivered SO quickly and I've never once had a bad experience for all the years I've been ordering there.

This is a casual Thai eatery inside broadway market - but hands down the best Thai in the city. You can eat inside the market, but I mostly do takeaway. I am always on the hunt for the best pad Thai but convinced this doesn't exist in Baltimore. However, their fried rice, the chive cake, curry and Kao Soi are fantastic. A word to the orderer: a 1 is spicy and the 2 is hot. The 3 is death, and I love spicy. Make sure you stay at the 2 even for hot if you want your food to be tolerable. They have punch cards but I've yet to get a free meal as I keep replacing them with new ones The staff is always friendly, the last time I went we had a whole convo about the spicy levels at Thai street!

Thai food is definitely one of my favorite cuisines. Maximum flavor in one dish, what more could you ask for! Thai Street definitely delivered what it was supposed to! Thai Street is located in the Broadway market food hall. This food hall isn't as great as others, there really aren't many options to choose from. I was actually visited the mall to attend a yelp elite event and decided to order from here. The lady was working the stall was very nice. The food came out quickly and was piping hot! I ordered the Pad See Ew, which was amazing! The perfect amount of hot! I devoured my meal before I could even get it home! I will be back!

This is an excellent spot for Thai food inside Broadway Market. They have a wide range of spice levels and the food are accommodating to vegans and vegetarians. The service was quick and smooth, the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of seating inside the market as well as outdoor. I love the decorations of the food stall, it makes me feel like I made it to Thailand right there!

When I travel, I love to try new Thai restaurants. This came up with good reviews. Not sure what happened this day but I am left disappointed that I just spend all this money on a child size portion of food. I ordered the basil chicken with rice and the puff along with two teas. It wasn't on a lunch menu and definitely not enough for more than one person. There was no place to add sauce requests yet they give you no sauce. I am so disappointed in this attempt to support a local restaurant while in town. Maybe if I sat down inside, it would be better. I am not willing to take the risk.

    thai tea with boba
    Rosemary M.

A neat little spot! I grabbed one of their Thai teas with boba while waiting for my food at another stall in the market. It was super sweet but delicious and did the job of holding me over until my food was ready. The boba pearls seemed like they were cooked well and were nice and chewy. I noticed the lids weren't the sealed ones you usually get at a dedicated boba shop. I will say I did miss the satisfaction of stabbing the straw into the lid, but I found the drink to be mixed up well even if you couldn't give it a shake. A lot of the food on their menu sounded really delicious. I definitely would have ordered something to try if I wasn't currently waiting on my lunch plans for the day! Looking forward to going back to try their food!

    Veggie spring rolls

I've been on the hunt for the best pineapple fried rice in Baltimore and Thai Street was next on my list. I ordered the papaya salad, the veggie spring rolls, and of course, the pineapple fried rice with chicken for delivery. The rice was about $15, a lot cheaper than some other places. Upon arrival, the food was nice and warm but not super well packaged with sauce dripping from the bottom of the bag. The papaya salad was really yummy and fresh tasting. The spicy level one was the perfect amount of spice for me. The veggie spring rolls came with three rolls that were each super crispy and well filled. The pineapple fried rice was pretty yummy too but definitely not the best I've had. Mainly, I wish the rice had more vegetables. It only had two pieces of broccoli, maybe four pieces of carrot, but more than enough grape tomatoes that I ended up eating around cause tomatoes aren't my favorite. All in all, Thai Street was pretty good but I probably won't be running back for the pineapple fried rice. It is cheaper than some other places but leaves a little to be desired.

I am on the hunt to find the best pad Thai in Baltimore! Is this it? No BUT it was still quite tasty! I ordered the "no spice" level just to be safe because this was a new try for me and I did add chili flakes and LOTS of lime juice to make it more flavorful. Maybe with a kick it would've been better? It was good, but it was missing some of that tradition Pad Thai flavoring although it looked well seasoned. This would be great choice if at the Broadway Market, but I will probably order from elsewhere next time. I will say, that this was ready SO fast - WAY less than the projected time online and the staff was super friendly (: Broadway Market is a very cool spot to check out in Fells with lots of different vendors to choose from. There is seating inside and outside with a nice ambiance.

Heads up! Thai Street is extremely addicting. I went once, did not know much or have super high expectations, and I fell in LOVE with the pad thai. I wish I was joking, but I went 4 times in one week recently to get the pad thai... oops! The portion sizes are wonderful. The flavors will blow your mind. I also love their thai tea with boba/bubbles! I'm starting to make friends with the staff I'm going so often! :D

Customer Service was absolutely amazing and the food was so delicious! I've never been to a market before but it didn't feel out of place.

If you wanted us to leave, then just say so. We ordered the dumplings, Kit's special pad thai and lychee martini and my friend had 1444 tea which is basically thai tea with alcohol. The dumplings were good but aren't all dumplings good? The crispy pad thai that they called Kit's special sounded much better on paper. The noodles were so crispy that it did not absorb the sauce. There were alot of sauce at the bottom of the plate and only four pieces of shrimp and two pieces of tofu so basically you are just getting noodles and noodles are cheap. I wouldn't recommend getting this dish for $21 and you don't even get any protein. We didn't finish the dish and the waitresses didn't offer a take away container, just are you finished so she can take away the dish. I was disappointed in my dining experience. We were greeted and seated relatively quickly and looked over the menu at our table. We asked the waitress if they had fish cakes, since we saw pictures of them on Yelp from this place. She didn't say anything, just pointed at something completely different on the menu. My wife repeated "fish cakes," and she pointed at the chive cakes. It looks like they used to serve them and took them off. That's a simple question with a simple answer, but instead of just saying that, she pointed at a menu twice and made it feel like we were bothering her. We started with the larb chicken and it was good. Limey, strong fish sauce, a little spicy, good contrasting textures. All good things. It's also the only thing I took a picture of, since by that point the experience had started to sour. For entrees, my wife got the boat noodles and I got the krapow. I asked the server to confirm the chicken was ground and she said yes. It came out sliced. Turns out the ground chicken version is on the menu as Chop-Chop Basil, but I was unfamiliar with the menu. It was an easy thing for her to correct but she didn't. I didn't make a thing of it, but it was annoying. I only had a bite of the boat noodles, but it was good. Nice balance of savory with a touch of sweetness. The meatballs were soft and bouncy, the meat was tender, good textures all around. The krapow was very good, mix-up aside. I asked for Thai spicy and they delivered. Excellent flavor, very tender meat, not too sweet. Probably one of the better krapows I've had out here. The part that really soured it was overhearing the manager with another table. An elderly couple and a friend had asked for their vegetables cooked well done since they can't chew firm food. They sent it back saying it was still too firm. The manager came out and basically yelled at them, saying they'd already cooked it longer than usual and couldn't cook it any more, and that next time he'd just put it in a blender. The couple had been nothing but kind about the whole thing. The kitchen did end up cooking it longer, but he never came back out to check if it was actually satisfactory. Maybe that isn't required, but the whole thing read like he was annoyed with them. The food here is excellent, easily five stars on its own. I'm docking a star for service. It was rude how they spoke to the elderly customers, rude to point silently at a menu instead of just saying the fish cakes are gone, and frustrating to be told the meat was ground when it wasn't. I'm not sure I can go back and dine in because it felt like we were a nuisance the whole time. I'll probably do carry out from now on. The inside is small and quaint and it looks like it gets busy around dinner, so come early if you want a table.
