Would have loved to try this place, but.... My daughters chose to get take-out from Thai Table for their birthday. I phoned in an order to pick up right at 4:30 when they opened (their online ordering doesn't seem to work yet). Placing the order was a challenge; 2 of the entrees were not available and no Thai iced coffee. Then computer apparently didn't save order first time so I had to repeat it. Got to restaurant in Concord to pick up my order and there was a handwritten sign on the door saying "We are closed today." I called the restaurant and was told my order was ready in Richmond, a good 45" drive away. The restaurant's Concord location has one phone # posted which is the # I phoned to place the order (not sure if phone was forwarded or if there is 1 shared phone # between restaurants). Never was there mention at the time I placed the order that the Concord location was closed and that order would be ready at their Richmond location. I told the individual I had no intention of driving to Richmond, so cancel the order. I also went on to suggest there should have been some mention when I placed the order that the Concord location was closed. The individual hung up on me. I was left scrambling for Thai food last minute, delaying birthday dinner by at least an hour. I will take a pass on this place. read more

The owner Andy sold this place but new owners retained the name. My experience with new owner has not been pleasant. She directed me to their website to check out the menu and can place online order which I did. The order confirmation email said it will be ready in 30 min. Got there and was told it will not be ready for another hour. Not a good start. read more

Thai Table Concord is under new ownership. The owners are experienced in the restaurant industry and have been saving up for their first place! They took ownership in December. The menu is slightly smaller, but they appear to be using the same recipes. The Yellow Curry I had for lunch today was delicious - tender chicken, soft potatoes and yummy veggies! Amazing customer service and delicious food. Our waitress was so kind, accommodating, and attentive, making sure the dishes we ordered were customized to me and my family's dietary restrictions. Based on other reviews I had really wanted to try this place. My husband and I looked at the menu online, made our choices, and headed over. This is not close to our side of of town so we made a 20 minute commitment of driving just to get there. That day our 20 month old daughter was with us die to her daycare being closed, which is normally not an issues and she eats out with us all the time. We arrived at restaurant, we're greeted, all seems good. We asked afor a high chair and they said they don't have any. This was unfortunately a deal killer. We did not try this place and ir is very unlikely that we will ever be back to a restaurant that can't support parents by supplying something as simple as a high chair. read more

Initially, we were skeptical to try because we didn't get that authentic Thai feeling from the menu; however, the food was fantastic and surpassed our expectations! We ordered drunken noodles with chicken and prig sod with tofu rice plate. Food was prepared quickly; service was excellent; everything was delicious and fresh; and portion size was adequate. I generally ask for the spiciest level because, from personal experience, many places tone down their heat scale to cater to the wider consumers; however, Thai Table is true to their heat index! My food (spicy level 5*) made me sweat and wanting more! Fellow chili enthusiasts, I recommend getting 5* spiciness if you love the heat! Now, although we love Thai Table, there is one matter that may deter others from trying: price. Yes, cost and inflation are on the rise, so it is understandable and common; however, if you're on a budget, this place may not be for you, as we have seen similar menu items that are inexpensive elsewhere. Don't take my review as a deterrent to avoid it -- just informing fellow diners what to expect. Lastly, we hope their menu will be expanded in the near future, as they are new and recently opened. This restaurant took over the former space of what used to be Guacamole. It has been difficult to find good Thai cuisine in the Bay Area; since we moved up here from Southern California. We would frequent Thai Town once a week, as the food was THAT good. We have tried at least 7-8 Thai places around here, including highly-acclaimed ones in Berkeley and in San Francisco, and they were not as good as Thai Table. I placed a phone order for one lunch special (green curry with chicken, jasmine rice, and picked the chicken satay appetizer), and Thai-style spaghetti (the person that answered the phone added extra vegetables in it, which was nice, as I ordered it meatless/tofu-less). I was told the order would be ready in 15 minutes. Since time is of essence, especially for my husband's tight work schedule, this was perfect. He went to go pick it up, and it was ready as told. My husband mentioned that they remodeled the inside of the restaurant, and that it looks much nicer now. As far as the food goes, it was surprisingly-good. I loved my Thai-style spaghetti. It was flavorful, non-greasy, all vegetables were cooked properly, and it had such nice amounts of garlic. My 13-month-old daughter ate some of the noodles, too! My husband is the biggest food critic, and he was quite pleased with his selection. He inhaled his chicken satay appetizer, and was even happier that he had plenty of curry leftover for dinner tonight. He does not even remember the previous places we tried out here, as they were that forgettable. For the price, portion, flavor profile, and service, Thai Table is well-deserving of a five star rating. I'm glad we tried here before considering having lunch at the Cheese Steak Shop (no offense to them, as they are good, too!), as it was nice to indulge in a healthier option with vegetables. I was craving Thai and settled on Door Dashing this place since it had such good reviews. I went for the softball pitch down the middle, Pad Thai with shrimp. Simple dish, everyone makes it, kind of hard to mess it up thus equals softball pitch down the middle. Honestly, I can't really complain. Good flavor, it came hot, good packaging too. This is truly one of the greatest eating experiences of my entire life. From the soft relaxing music, to the most delicious flavorful food that made me feel like I was going to cry. Every bite lead me to the next bite until I had eating everything. The fried rice has a deep savory flavor, the yellow curry pairs so well with its sweetness. Both of the owners are such kind people and the services was above and beyond. I will be coming here more often now that I know what I am in for. This place is delicious! Easy parking, quaint restaurant, and always greeted and treated like they are so thankful we are there. Their yellow curry is my favorite! I feel like white rice should be included in this dish, but it's an extra charge. Their Pad Se Ew is so good as is their Thai Table Rolls. Had their crispy tofu appetizer but that lacked flavor, as did their sweet mango sticky rice (not very sweet). But the flavors they do get right are GREAT! read more
