I was so impressed by this unassuming, cozy spot. The service was friendly, fast and accommodating and the food was delicious. I placed my order which was supposed to be ready at 3:15 p.m. - it was not ready until 5:15 p.m. I called them about 12 times and no one would answer the phone so I drove there to ask what the problem was. (I had received a confirmation and everything.) The man at register didn't seem to care. He told me he would have my food ready in 10 minutes so I waited. I wish I wouldn't have. The garlic stir fry was like licking minced garlic out of the jar - absolutely terrible. The tom kha soup is watered down compared to other restaurants. I got a salad and asked for ginger dressing - it was not ginger dressing. In fact, I don't know what it was - I tasted it and poured it down the drain. Their yellow curry is good - I will give them that. I will stick to Saigon Cafe or Peking Tokyo. The food at those two restaurants is always good. So stay away from Thai Taste. read more

Good sushi. Good service. We ordered takeout during the pandemic. Got home and had a hard time identifying whose sushi was whose because they weren't labeled. WE've been eating here once most every week and here's the deal: Great food, best curry around, fresh ingredients, always fast friendly service. I'll admit the strip mall location isn't all all that attractive but once you're inside the place is nicely decorated and clean. You can order how hot you want your curry and that's very consistent as well. I usually go for "three peppers" which is "Hot", four is "very hot" and I've ordered VH a couple times, still ok but three peppers is just right for me. Highly recommended. I always like to sample Thai food when I travel for business and have had odd experiences in some towns. I was happy to find that Thai Taste had quality food and excellent service only a few miles from home. If you eat mostly Chinese food and want to taste the individual flavors in your dish this will be an easy introduction. Medium hot was perfect for us and will be for you if you like some heat. Ground red pepper powder is on the table so you can always spice it up, but you can't take it out once it's added! The ingredients and preparation were both high quality. My wife had the scallop curry and I had the basil chicken stir fry. It was odd that I didn't have any basil leaves in my dish, but the favor was so good I didn't care or have complaints. The ginger mint candy with the check was a nice surprise. We'll be back for lunch this weekend. I need to brush on how to say 'thank you' in Thai. read more

Others have said this isn't authentic Thai food, I disagree. The food here taste exactly as it did when I was in Thailand last year. Its prepared by Thai cooks too, doesn't get much more authentic. Order wasn't ready after hour of pre order. Missing brown rice and had to go back in to ask them to add for it. Got home and realized they didn't provide the napkins, utensils or side sauce asked for either. Used grubhub to order takeout so idk what happened. read more

The Pad Thai here is fantastic. They also have a vegan sauce option (which is even more delicious than the regular sauce in my opinion!). The service can be mediocre, but the food is consistently great. They fulfill online orders quickly, package them perfectly, and are very good at following the special instructions on the online orders. Don't let the shady gas station next door sway you - this place is definitely worth a stop-in. I also recommend the veggie/tofu stir fry in brown sauce over rice (and yes, they even have brown rice as an option!). This little sushi and Thai place is right next door to my house so I go there quite a bit. All of their food right down to the simple pad Thai is absolutely authentic and you can taste it for yourself. A couple months ago I was going to order for pickup and they said "there's no sushi for a couple of months" I was devastated. I was hoping that they hadn't been getting ready to close. But yesterday went in just to pop in and see if there was sushi, and to my surprise they were back up and running at the sushi bar! It was an hour before closing and very slow, but they all seemed to welcome me as if very thankful that I came in , not the "ugh I just wanna go home, not another customer." That I've experienced in other restaurants before. I ordered a couple simple sushi rolls and the sushi chef recommended The Marietta sushi roll, which was salmon and spicy salmon inside and smoked salmon on the outside. The girl upfront told me that the chef was actually the owner of the business. I was blown away because I was I looked over he had a torch in his hand and it was actual smoked salmon. You could tell that he enjoyed what he did and he was very thorough and making the sushi not rushing it. It was fantastic to see that after losing a sushi chef he took over with pride. I respect Thai taste more as a business altogether after this experience and they can look forward to seeing me much more now. Anyone in the Marietta/ Kennesaw area should definitely check this place out. Super high-quality sushi for a very low price. read more
