    Chicken pad thai
    Mark O.

Just another average place that survives due to its location. The prices also seem to take advantage of its location...little competition is nearby. If this place was in Uptown or a trendier area of the Cities, it would not survive. The Pad Thai seems to be prepared cheaply. While the flavor was ok, very few of the traditional condiments/accompaniments were provided. No lime wedges, very few chopped peanuts and what seemed like a very meager amount of bean sprouts. Peanut sauce is provided, but it seems like an easy way out. I also ordered spring rolls and there was no hoisin sauce. Hard pass; won't be back.

Drunken noodles, yellow, curry, spring rolls

*edited* I need to correct my review...The food here WAS very good...IN THE PAST. The spring rolls are still amazing. But our food last night was horrifically bland. Drunken noodles were dry and lacked flavor. I added Bachan's and it was better. (Back to original review)...Now for the bad, prices are high, and portions are very small on everything except the spring rolls. The staff is passively pleasant, but not friendly at all. One employee, I believe it was The owner or the manager, took our take out order, and When I paid with my credit card and selected the no tip button, she said"wow no tip?" Then proceeded to give us half full containers of food. Regrettably, we will definitely not be returning. The food used to be great...now it is below mediocre, and the service has followed suit.

Worst pad Thai takeout I ever had in my life! Mushy noodles and terrible flavor. I also asked for medium spice and it wasn't spicy at all. They were also out of egg rolls and forgot to tell me until I checked my bag in the car and went back in, where they reimbursed me from my online order. Why are restaurants in Shakopee so terrible?

    Spicy noodle with tofu.

Mind you this was $16..... and it was absolutely not worth it at all. Nice seating area and sweet lady at the register but sorry food was a no no for me.

Egg rolls with that zingy, great sauce. Great crispiness!

My husband started working at Shutterfly and I had seen this place when we drove by previously. Since I had to drop something off around dinner time tonight, I thought I'd give it a try! The restaurant is located in a small strip mall, and while it isn't a big place, it has a number of tables inside if you are inclined to eat in. The feeling isn't particularly warm inside in terms of atmosphere, but it's clean and open. The service was friendly and quick. I started with an order of egg rolls. There are three in an order which is good because the price is $6 which is maybe a bit higher than usual for an order of eggrolls, but they were hot, very crispy and the flavor was decent. Not the best I've had, but from some reviews I was expecting less flavor. It was pretty good but the great crunchiness was the winner and.bped them up a notch in my opinion. The sauce that came with them was great too....sweet but spicy. Zinged the tongue a bit and had a nice flavor. Not overpowering. The Spicy LoMein was my favorite. It was a little greasy, and I wished it had some vegetables in it, but it was flavorful and spicy, but not overwhelming. The chicken was a nice quality and not that questionable, chewy chicken that you can get places so that was a bonus! The last thing was the Chicken Fried Rice. While I thought I'd like this dish best, it lacked flavor. I read after ordering that the beef fried rice is best, so I will probably try that next time instead of the chicken. It isn't bad...great chicken, nice quality rice, plenty of scallions with some sprouts on top, but just lacked that flavor. If they could improve on that a little it would be a winner because the quality is there. So overall, I like this place. I would definitely get the Spicy LoMein again! The portions are generous so while the pricing may feel a little higher than some other places, I thought it was reasonable against the portions. I was happy I gave it a try and will be trying some new things next time :)

Great food, great service, there's not much I would change!…read more Mr. Pig Stuff recently moved into a new location and I have to begin by saying, their new space is beautiful. It's gives off a modern whiskey house/southern rustic vibe. Plenty of indoor seating and a cute patio with an indoor/outdoor bar top. I have eaten here 3 times in the past few months and my experience has been the same each time, wonderful! My two favorite meals are the Smoked Chicken Wings and The Pile sandwich. The chicken wings: I'm the type to always sauce up any wing I get. Pig Stuff's wings will come out dry rubbed with your sauce in the side. At first I was hesitant but now I know why! Their dry rub is fantastic! The flavors are Smokey, savory, and salty - easily eaten on their own. The meat is very juicy and falls off of the bone! (8.5/10) The Pile: this is a sandwich consisting of brisket, pulled pork, Mac & cheese, and coleslaw. It's a monster of a sandwich and could definitely make a mess but OMG it is tasty! The sandwich comes with BQQ sauce, but who needs it when you have the juiciness of the pork, smokiness of the brisket, creaminess of the Mac & cheese, and the tang of coleslaw! It's almost hard not to finish this sandwich. (9/10) Another favorite are their fries. Fresh, crispy, and well seasoned. You can also get them as garlic parm fries where they drizzle their wing sauce across the top - YUM. (8/10) Lastly, the service here has always been impeccable. You're greeted with a smile by everyone. I have yet to meet a server or bartender that wasnt engaging. Looking forward to coming back around!

When we stopped in there were a few people but lots of open spots. We ordered the queso and cracklins and split a two meet sampler. The queso had a bit of a kick. The sampler we got was brisket and ribs. Both meats were good and well flavored. Sides were beans and mashed potatoes. Beans seemed a little undercooked but mashed potatoes were great. There were two bbq sauces on the table and one was pretty mild and sweet but was very tomato forward and reminded me of more like a flavored ketchup. The spicy one was better but not something I'd choose. Meats were better without the sauce in my opinion. Service was fine- nothing great but nothing to complain about. If we are in the area and in the mood for bbq again, we'd probably give it another try.

Serves very good pizza, tasty sandwiches with spicy chips and flavorful, generous pasta with a slice of garlic toast.. I had a large bowl of spicy chicken fettuccine with a slice of garlic toast hanging off to one side. I found the dish to be full of flavor (and to be fair probably calories as well). I devoured the toast but took home enough leftover chicken and pasta to make a nice meal for later consumption. If dining in one orders at the counter, is issued a number stand and grabs a table or booth. Orders when ready (relatively quickly) were promptly brought out by cheerful servers. Fountain drinks, silverware, plates and paper napkins can be found at a separate stations along the wall opposite the order counter (in the midst of the dine-in portion). Ate here with my son who works nearby (shout out to Wilkes Auto) and two old friends from my college days. All left with satisfied looks on their collective faces. Based upon the number of people milling around awaiting their respective orders as well as the steady stream of customers in and out of the main entrance (on a weekday evening no less) Joey Nova's appears to do a brisk take out business.
