Such a pretty and romantic restaurant with great service and delicious food! We enjoyed the traditional pad thai, seafood soup, and khao soi. I think this is a great place for a date or bringing family to a thai restaurant with a more elevated atmosphere. We felt very taken care of and the portion sizes were great for family style eating.

So good!!!! 10/10 recommend. Big portions of pad see ew for the price and the sticky rice was perfect.

Chicken Laab

Came for a late lunch/early dinner. We were promptly greeted and then shown to our seats. Staff were very attentive. We got the coconut soup and chicken laab. The coconut soup was simple. It did taste like coconut and I enjoyed the two types of mushrooms and chicken in there. The laab was flavorful and refreshing with the lettuce. The restaurant felt very spacious. We were seated in the middle. They have a Thai tea and green Thai tea float. I didn't get a chance to try it so will come back to try someday. There's parking in the front area or the back lot that's shared with the escape room. As I was walking to the bathroom, I saw staff lying down on the bench while on their phones. They were most likely on break but it took away from the environment for me. I get it, not every place has a break room/area.

Our yearly review! Don't know why we don't come more often but always impresses us. Service was nice. Our food does take a bit of time to come out but it was delicious and not rushed. Always love getting the thai terrace noodles with medium spice always a hit with us. Pad thai as always, loved how balance it was. I believe the prices have gone up a bit but portions are still huge so i'm not complaining. Quiet, tucked away restaurant. Love coming here.

November 19, 2025 - Lunch special soup and salad.

November 19, 2025 - Sacramento. We stopped in for lunch around noon on a Wednesday after finding Thai Terrace on Yelp. It doesn't look like much from the outside (strip mall), but inside it's surprisingly nice. There's even a stage for occasional live music in the evenings. We were seated in a comfy booth and checked out the menu--lots of lunch specials (Mon-Thurs, 11-3) and a big selection overall. I ordered Lunch Special #5: Peanut Sauce with chicken ($14.50), served over steamed spinach and veggies, plus ginger rice for a small upcharge ($1.50). The meal also came with a small soup and salad, both fresh and flavorful. My entrée was excellent. The peanut sauce was delicious--spicy but not overly spicy. The chicken was tender, the vegetables perfectly cooked, and the ginger rice paired really well with everything. Portion size was generous; I had enough to take home for dinner. Friendly, fast service and great food. I'd definitely come back!

Mango Sticky Rice

Late Saturday night, my friend and I were trying to figure out where to go for dinner and my daughter randomly said she wanted to try Mango Sticky Rice for the first time. I looked on Yelp and saw that Thai Terrace was open and had pretty good reviews. While walking from our car, my friend and I decided to grab something else for dinner as we were tired and just wanted to go home, but went inside to order the Mango Sticky Rice anyways. I let the guy in front know that we were just placing a quick to go order and he was very nice and even offered us some ice water while we waited. They had a live band playing and the place was vibrant and lively! While we didn't order any other food or eat there, I can say that all of us tried the Mango Sticky Rice and it was really good! My friend and I both agreed that we would come back to actually dine in the next time she was in town. If their dessert is this good, I can only imagine how their actual entrees taste! We will definitely be back soon!

This was the closest Thai place we can find in the area. Came maybe an hr and a half before closing and we were the only group dining in. To start off the place looks very nice! But man the little lady who was the host wasn't so pleasant. No smile , no Joyment in her tone of voice. Probably upset that we were eating even though we still had a lot of time. Was very dreadful to have her as the experience of this place. Ordered and felt the attitude immediately. Yes I understand that reviews should be about the food and it will be. But the service is also apart of the experience and this definitely was why the stars are not higher. The one star is for Christy who was our food runner and was nice and had better service . Definitely was the welcome we needed in the beginning . The one star is for her. The food is also decent . Be careful with the spice because it was actually spicy. Which normally the waiter would let us know if it's white spicy or actually Thai spicy.

Thai Terrace was impressive. The decor and atmosphere were top notch, especially compared to the strip mall it's located in. Romantic, organized, beautiful and authentic is how I would describe my experience. My date and I arrived after catching a movie nearby. We planned on Thai food for the evening and this is the perfect location if you're in the Arden area. Free parking in the lot right out front. You can't miss the large neon Thai Terrace sign. We were greeted and seated right away. I had the chance to peruse the menu before hand so I knew exactly what I wanted to order. We sat at a large booth with red heart shaped napkins, clean and very comfortable. For starters, we ordered fresh spring rolls with shrimp and Thai dumplings, both classic starters with great flavor. I also knew I wanted to try Pig on Fire which was marinated to perfection and flame grilled, served with sweet & sour sauce and fresh veggies. And of course can't forget the drunken noodles with beef, which included big flat rice noodles, green onion, bean sprout, bell pepper and basil stir-fried in garlic chili sauce. This was super spicy at level 2 so make sure to order a Thai iced tea to help with the heat. Everything was superb, the service atmosphere and food was amazing. I can't wait to come back for more.

Beef Pad Thai

My friends and I came here for dinner. Restaurant is pretty big. They were not busy on a Sunday evening. We ordered Chicken Satay, Yellow Curry, Daffy in Trouble (duck dish) and Beef Pad Thai. Daffy in trouble was really salty. Meat was tender. I liked the veggies and cashews that came with the dish. Chicken satay, yellow curry and pad thai were all good and decent in portions. Service was quick.

This place is THE place for thai food, everything tastes authentic and extremely flavorful! I got the pad thai, which had a strong peanut butter aroma, while my bf got the drunken noodled. We both got mild but it tasted like medium spice, def get no spice if you don't have a high spice tolerance. Thai spice is a whole new level. I also got their thai tea and it was 10/10, not too sweet The servers are extremely nice and really attentive as well! They filled our waters without us needing to ask and constantly checked up on us to make sure everything was going well. Very friendly people! The ambiance is more on the romantic side, with heart shaped napkins and low lighting. Perfect place to go on a date.

We've probably been to Thai Terrace almost 5 times in the past 2 weeks already It has officially become one of our favorite restaurants It all started when a friend invited us to walk around Arden Mall and mentioned there was a Thai restaurant nearby. This place right here. After eating, we could easily drive across to Nordstrom Rack and continue shopping. The location is honestly perfect: great food and shopping all in one area. Since then, we've kept coming back again and again with friends, friends' families, and our own family too because we genuinely want everyone we know to try this restaurant. The restaurant is spacious, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere. Some Saturdays they have live music, and certain months they even host concerts featuring artists flown directly from Thailand One of the best parts of coming with a group is getting to try so many different dishes and honestly, we've almost tried the entire menu by now. There are definitely a few dishes we always come back for. Our must-order dishes are: Boat Noodles - rich, flavorful broth that truly tastes like authentic Thai food back in Thailand. Pad Kra Pao with minced pork -- especially if you order it Thai spicy style. Bold flavor, perfectly spicy, and tastes homemade like comfort food from home. The drinks are also amazing: Thai Tea Float and Green Tea Float -- both topped with matching ice cream, which makes them extra delicious. For dessert today, we tried fried bananas with ice cream, and it was the perfect ending to the meal If you're looking for authentic Thai food around Arden Mall / Sacramento, we truly recommend Thai Terrace. You'll understand why we keep coming back once you try it yourself

I love Thai food and was hoping I can include this place in my rotations. Sadly, the food was average and the slowest service I've ever encountered. Pig on Fire I was intrigued by the name. Grilled thai marinaded pork with steamed vegetables served with sweet & sour and thai style spicy sauce on the side. The meat was on the tougher drier side. Crab Fried Rice The crab meat on top was cold, so I think they cooked the fried rice and top it with crab meat. The dish was lacking flavor. We wanted Mango Sticky Rice for dessert and had ordered it with the entrées. The service was slow to begin with, from taking our orders to food delivered to our table. It was understandable because it was Friday night and they had a couple of large parties. We must of sat there for 30 minutes waiting for the Mango Sticky Rice. And yes, we reminded the waiter when they cleaned off the table. When we finally was able to flag down the waiter. I told her that we have to go because by this point we were there for two hours. She was not apologetic about it and just bought out the check. She didn't explain why it took so long or maybe the order wasn't put in. I was pissed and couldn't run out of there fast enough. They had a full live band singing songs from the 80s. It was lovely and unexpected. That's what is stopping me from giving them 2 stars.

Beef pad see ew

Delicious Thai food, elegant ambiance, and friendly service. We had a table of four dining on a weekday evening. There weren't many people at 5:45 pm but it started filling up after that. I ordered pad see ew, which I think had a good ratio of meat, eggs, noodles, and veggies. I asked for chili on the side and I loved that they already had a tray with three jars of dry chili flakes, sambal, and sliced red chilies in vinegar. Our waitress was knowledgeable and told us most dishes could be made vegetarian, vegan, or without fish sauce (except for the curries). Prices are comparable and reasonable. I would definitely return for their lunch specials or a night when they have live music (according to other reviews).

Excellent food & great service. Their spice level is pretty tame, but there's always extra chili sauces available whenever needed.

Thai time Owner and…read moreRecipe Wizard Thammasorn Lau has created something that feels less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home -- assuming that someone's home happens to have amazing Thai chefs, incredible spices, and food that makes you immediately start planning your next visit before you're even done eating. We did our best "research project" and ordered everything our table could justify: Thai iced coffee, coconut canopy salad, pad see ew and pad Thai with pork belly, sunset curry with tilapia, and mango sticky rice with ice cream. For science, obviously. Thai Time should put a warning label on their Thai iced coffee. One sip through each layer and the conversation stopped. We woke up. The taste buds clocked in for work. The brain sent out the announcement: "Cancel all distractions -- apparently dinner has plans for us." Good thing we listened. Thammasorn then proceeded to take us on a full Thai flavor adventure. This wasn't just dinner. This was a carefully organized attack on our ability to say, "No thanks, I'm full." The coconut canopy salad started fresh and bright, the noodles brought the comfort, the pork belly brought the celebration, the sunset curry with tilapia brought the "wait, everyone try this" moment. And the mango sticky rice with ice cream showed up at the end like a victory parade. I always read the bad reviews because I'm fascinated by the rare human ability to find sadness while surrounded by curry, noodles, and people being nice to you. They are to be safely ignored. Our experience? Five stars out of 10. Beautiful flavors, warm service, and that special energy you only get when the people behind a place actually care. Thank you, Thammasorn and Thai Time. Sacramento is lucky to have you.

I'm not sure if management or chef has changed but their food is not what I remembered from years ago. We initially ordered their tofu pad thai and gai yang and immediately noticed how pricey their menu was. They have a wall of specials and I remember being shocked that their orange chicken was $24. I didn't mind paying more than what I was used to for my pad thai because I remembered their food was delicious but I was shocked when my pad thai came out. It was literally drowned in sauce and looked like it was a bowl of noodle soup. I was still optimistic hoping that it tasted better than it looked but it just tasted like sweet rice noodle soup. I was hesitant to bring it up to the waitress after two bites but so glad I did because I would have hated myself if I left without saying anything. The waitress was kind and offered to remake the dish. Instead, I opted for something else because I was afraid to be disappointed again. I ordered their tofu drunken noodles since I've gotten it here before and remember it being tasty. I confirmed that the drunken noodle was going to be a dry noodle dish and thankfully it was. It was good but not the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had their gai yang which is a marinated grilled chicken dish. He said it was pretty dry without the sauce on the side but the sweet chili sauce provided was pretty tasty. It's probably not worth $26 given the how dry the chicken was and he said he would never order it again. Overall, the customer service was great and portions were good. I had to deduct 3 stars from my previous review as the food quality has significantly gone down in my experience and doesn't justify the high menu prices in my opinion.

The location was a bit odd, as there were barely any other businesses nearby. There is street parking that you can pay for. It's a fairly small restaurant. We were were seated pretty quickly. We opted for mild spice on this. I would order this again. -Chicken pad thai: Done very well! Some places the pad thai is too sweet, but this one was very balanced and had a good tamarind flavor. Medium spicy was a bit on the spicy side, but perfect for me! Would order this again. -Duck larb: Unique, but I couldn't tell it was duck. My partner enjoyed this more than I did. Everything else sat somewhere in the middle Parking? Lot We had: Chicken Satay (4/5): Flavor wise, this was locked in. One of the better peanut sauces I've had. Nutty, slightly sweet, with enough depth to keep it interesting. The problem was execution. It came out lukewarm, which dulled the whole experience and made it feel less fresh than it should have. Also could've used more sauce. Still good, just not quite dialed Green Curry (2.5/5): This one just didn't show up. The flavors felt muted and never really came together.
