The front of this building is Coffee and Tacos so we couldn't find Clucking Good, went around back and saw several different restaurant posters with QR codes, seen Clucking Good poster scanned it and their menu came right up decided to try this place because fellow yelper Liberty G gave them a great review and she is honest with her opinion she recommended delicious dishes !!! We ordered the crispy chicken comes with garlic rice and consomme and the hainan chicken it also came with garlic rice and consomme, the hainan chicken was delicious the rice fragrant and so tasty the crispy chicken was so crunchy but could have used a little salt but it came sweet chili sauce for dipping and was perfect together we ordered extra cucumbers worth the 2 extra dollars we were so happy with our meals. The service was fast the prices were reasonable unfortunately there is no where to sit because it is in a ghost kitchen. We ended up sitting on some benches on the side of coffee and tacos it was nice and shady. The food was so delicious i am so thankful for honesty in yelp reviews come give this place a shot your taste buds will love it.

Cluckin Good is in the Sactown Eats space and is available for pickup or on Door Dash/Uber Eats. If you're picking up, I'd recommend coming during the day time because turning into the area can be scary at night! We tried: - Samplers Plate/Half & Half ($16) - Crying Tiger ($22) - Thai Tea ($4) Their consommé might be my favorite Hainan chicken side soup ever!! It was sooo deeply flavored and felt like such a warm hug. The chicken for the poached Hainan chicken was a bit drier than expected, but I dunked each piece in the consommé before eating and that made it better! I know that Hainan chicken/khao mun gai should be super soft and juicy, so I'm just chalking it up to having an off serving. The fried chicken of the sampler was great and went perfectly with the sweet chili sauce. Their Crying Tiger is to die for!! The fat on the steak is perfectly rendered so each bite is wonderfully rich. The sauce that goes with it is tart so it completely balances the meal. However, the Crying Tiger does NOT come with rice, so make sure you order some on the side!

    Consommé was so intensely flavored

Tried their orange chicken and it's delicious. Super crispy breading on tender meat. Eat it right away so it doesn't get soggy. But if you have leftovers, I popped mine in the air fryer. Comes with plain white rice. Also now that they're in their new ghost kitchen, you get to meet the nice owner of the Cluckin Good!

This is one of my new favorite place to get poached chicken which is so tender and juicy. I love the ginger sauce that comes with it and you can drench that over the chicken or the rice. They also have some flavor rice that cooks with ginger and garlic and the poached chicken juice and it is so flavorful and savory. I also tried their crying tiger which is their Grill stick and it comes with some Spicy Thai lime juice which is so addicting after you dip it once. The steak has perfect Grill marks but the steak was a little bit overcooked so next time I order it I will request medium rare to have a little bit of pink. I love how the crying tiger comes with some fresh cucumber so when it gets a little spicy it cools down the taste bud. I also try to grill pork which was grilled to perfection but it was a little bit on the dry side as well a little bit too overcooked. I also love how I got the crispy fried chicken which was perfect and tender and it comes with some Thai chili sauce which you can dip it in and it is very sweet and savory and crunchy all in one bite. Also don't forget to try there Thai tea which is really refreshing and milky. The setup of a ghost kitchen is you order online and you go there and pick up your order after you ring the doorbell and the sweet Mama comes and bring out your food to you and then you go on your way. This is located in Midtown Sacramento on 22nd Street near Zoe tacos. Have you been and would you check it out? Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day.

I absolutely love Cluckin Good. Perfect 10/10 experience for my take out order. The Hainan chicken and crying tiger are my must order menu items. The meat was tender. The NY was cooked to my prefer temperature of medium rare. I love the Thai spicy BBQ sauce as it compliments the NY. The garlic rice was so fragrant and delicious. The Thai iced tea was perfect. It was not water downed. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We ordered this via DoorDash. I got the hainan chicken. It came with rice, soup, and some kind of sweet sauce. The chicken was tender. The sauce was too sweet for my liking. The soup was kind of sweet; i was expecting a more bland and very chicken-brothy broth if that makes sense lol! Overall it looked unappealing, and tasted very bland to me. It tasted like something I can easily and quickly make at home. I don't think i would get it again.

I personally love clucking good because it's service is very well and amazing I love how the deep fry things like the egg rolls this was written by a 10 year old

    Very stingy with sauce.
    Mor Y.

Flavor is good and rice and chicken portion is good for its price but they were stingy with the sauce because this dish the chicken and especially the sauce is the highlight of it but chicken quality was not there, and was not enough sauce since there's so much rice.

Since that visit I have returned three different times, always bringing someone different to show off this excellent restaurant find located near 73rd and Stockton Blvd Engawa Fusion is such a special place-this restaurant is over 30 minutes from my house in Natomas in traffic ,yet that never stops me from trekking my way across Sacramento-I love this place that much. On this particular visit we started with 2 different sushi tacos-We had the tuna version and the salmon version-each priced at $11.00. Now I could write a novel explaining the virtues of these culinary creations but I will keep it short-the tuna and the salmon tacos are such the perfect bite-well balanced-well seasoned-surprisingly heavy in the hand while being light to the taste-it's truly been my favorite new food item discovery of 2026. Next we went with the Stir-Fry Udon and this cost us $16.00. I've described this dish in the past as a dish I could eat every day of my life and would be a very happy person. The flavor and seasonings are flawless, the noodles are cooked perfectly, great chew-a very slurpable noodle for sure. I can easily see why this dish is such a popular item on their menu. This restaurant was given a spot on Yelps Top 100 Places to eat in 2025-nothing in this visit did a thing to show that honor wasn't well deserved. In closing-I don't know if I could recommend this spot any higher and I plan many future visits whenever I want to show people how amazing the culinary experience in Sacramento has truly become. 10/10 experience. PS-Parking could be a bit of a challenge as they share a lot with an auto shop but all of my visits I was able to secure a spot-I am sure you will as wel

Kado Asian Fusion has been on my list to try for a while. I've been following them on social media…read moreand have read the reviews on Yelp and was so excited to finally try it out. The restaurant is super cute and has indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is covered and shaded which is perfect for warmer Sacramento months. They have a variety of menu items including a build your own bowl opton, tacos, nachos, sandwiches, loaded fries, musubi and an udon special. I ended up ordering the Umami Udon with special chicken as my protein ($13.50), a Build Your Own Bowl with fried rice, katsu chicken, the triple katsu sauce, and stir fried veggies with "The Works" ($16.50), and Musubi ($8.75). The staff was super friendly and helped me make some decisions for my order and recommended the umami udon special, which I'm so happy about. The food was made fresh and took a little bit, but was packed with care and was nice and hot. I took it home to enjoy and the food was still hot and the portion sizes were really generous. The Umami Udon was amazing, it had perfectly cooked udon noodles that had a great chew in a creamy teriyaki sauce with smokey bacon, mushrooms, onions and garlic. It was a great mix of sweet and savory and lived up to it's umami name. I would order this again and again, it was so good. The Build Your Own bowl was also delicious and I can see why the chicken katsu is a customer favorite. The veggies were fresh and the fried rice was really flavorful. The Spam Musubi had thick slices of spam with a nice marinade and came with sauces for dipping. I'll definitely be back again soon, and while I want to explore more of the menu the umami udon is happening again!

Kado Asian Fusion is located on Broadway and cater to the lunch/dinner crowds. They are open from 12-8pm every day except Sundays. The inside was clean and had a decent amount of tables. We ordered at the counter and then sat at a table while we waited for our food to go. They offer bowls, tacos, nachos, rolls and sandwiches! I don't always know what to order at new places - so I liked that they had signs for specials as well as "favorites." We ordered the Rice with Teriyaki Chicken, Oliver's Favorite which was Spam Musubi and Spam and Bacon Fried Rice and Mom and Dad's Forbidden Feast. Everything looked and tasted really good! Obviously, it would have been much better had we actually eaten in the restaurant, but still no complaints once we got it home. Spam Musubi is one of my favorite things to eat so I could have downed like 5 of them! Portions were huge too - they even have a 100 year old teriyaki recipe! Overall, I would definitely come back and try other items! Staff were also very friendly, personable and gave great recommendations! Check them out!

That makes sense to why the drinks were quite stiff. I understand why many of the older guests chose to sit outside on the patio, where it was much quieter. Danielle was wonderful. Even though she was handling a large party, she remained attentive and checked on us regularly. Food-wise, it fell short for my Asian taste buds, which tend to prefer bolder and more layered flavors. For starters, we had the tartare, which was enjoyable and very flavorful. For the main entrées, we had the beef carpaccio, but it unfortunately missed the mark. The vegetables on top were visually appealing, but flavor-wise it lacked depth. It needed extra mint or perhaps to be wrapped in a sesame leaf to give it more bite and contrast. Next, we tried the lion meatball with veggie fried rice. The meatball was dry and had a grainy texture. It needed more fat in the blend for better richness. Pairing it with a baguette or even a savory donut stick would have added a nice contrast in texture and flavor. I'm usually not a fried rice person, but I kept eating it because it was the only dish I genuinely enjoyed and found well-seasoned. It wasn't the traditional wok-hei style fried rice; instead, it tasted fresher and lighter. I understand and appreciate the direction of the flavors and dishes, as they seem intentionally designed to be more subtle, calming, and approachable for American palates. However, from my perspective and personal preference as someone who enjoys stronger Asian flavors, it lacked the "wow" factor I was hoping for.

We started with the Soft Shell Crab served with lettuce, herbs, and a tangy vinaigrette. It was very delicious and perfectly crunchy, although the portion was quite small. The Fried Chicken Dumplings were also very good, and the dipping sauce paired perfectly with them. The Saigon Alley Wings were equally delicious -- crispy, flavorful, and definitely one of the highlights. The Dynamite Scallops tasted amazing as well, but again, the portion was very small, so I'd recommend ordering more than one if sharing. The Fried Shrimp tossed in salt and pepper with jalapeños was nicely balanced and not overly salty. The Fried Calamari with cilantro aioli was cooked perfectly -- tender and not rubbery at all. For the mains, the Charbroiled Pork Chops and Short Ribs topped with scallion oil, shallots, and fish sauce vinaigrette were wonderfully flavorful, and the meat was tender. We also tried the Garlic Noodles, which were decent, although I've had better garlic noodles at other restaurants, and they arrived a little cold. The Garlic String Beans sautéed in garlic butter sauce with chili flakes were surprisingly one of my favorites -- crunchy, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. I also loved the Thai Tea because it wasn't overly sweet. For dessert, we tried the sesame balls with condensed milk, which we enjoyed, although it was the only dessert option on the menu. Overall, the food was flavorful and well-prepared, but the portions definitely lean on the smaller side. Ratings:* Ambience: 4/5* Food: 3.5/5* Service: 3/5 -- mainly because it took about 30 minutes to receive the bill. Still worth trying if you enjoy flavorful Vietnamese fusion dishes and don't mind smaller portions.

The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not.
