The front of this building is Coffee and Tacos so we couldn't find Clucking Good, went around back and saw several different restaurant posters with QR codes, seen Clucking Good poster scanned it and their menu came right up decided to try this place because fellow yelper Liberty G gave them a great review and she is honest with her opinion she recommended delicious dishes !!! We ordered the crispy chicken comes with garlic rice and consomme and the hainan chicken it also came with garlic rice and consomme, the hainan chicken was delicious the rice fragrant and so tasty the crispy chicken was so crunchy but could have used a little salt but it came sweet chili sauce for dipping and was perfect together we ordered extra cucumbers worth the 2 extra dollars we were so happy with our meals. The service was fast the prices were reasonable unfortunately there is no where to sit because it is in a ghost kitchen. We ended up sitting on some benches on the side of coffee and tacos it was nice and shady. The food was so delicious i am so thankful for honesty in yelp reviews come give this place a shot your taste buds will love it.

Cluckin Good is in the Sactown Eats space and is available for pickup or on Door Dash/Uber Eats. If you're picking up, I'd recommend coming during the day time because turning into the area can be scary at night! We tried: - Samplers Plate/Half & Half ($16) - Crying Tiger ($22) - Thai Tea ($4) Their consommé might be my favorite Hainan chicken side soup ever!! It was sooo deeply flavored and felt like such a warm hug. The chicken for the poached Hainan chicken was a bit drier than expected, but I dunked each piece in the consommé before eating and that made it better! I know that Hainan chicken/khao mun gai should be super soft and juicy, so I'm just chalking it up to having an off serving. The fried chicken of the sampler was great and went perfectly with the sweet chili sauce. Their Crying Tiger is to die for!! The fat on the steak is perfectly rendered so each bite is wonderfully rich. The sauce that goes with it is tart so it completely balances the meal. However, the Crying Tiger does NOT come with rice, so make sure you order some on the side!

    Consommé was so intensely flavored

Tried their orange chicken and it's delicious. Super crispy breading on tender meat. Eat it right away so it doesn't get soggy. But if you have leftovers, I popped mine in the air fryer. Comes with plain white rice. Also now that they're in their new ghost kitchen, you get to meet the nice owner of the Cluckin Good!

Amazing amazing Hainanese chicken!! Got this for $16 bucks and was worth every dollar. Quality is amazing and great quantity would order again. Definitely recommend and one of the best food I had in sac

This is one of my new favorite place to get poached chicken which is so tender and juicy. I love the ginger sauce that comes with it and you can drench that over the chicken or the rice. They also have some flavor rice that cooks with ginger and garlic and the poached chicken juice and it is so flavorful and savory. I also tried their crying tiger which is their Grill stick and it comes with some Spicy Thai lime juice which is so addicting after you dip it once. The steak has perfect Grill marks but the steak was a little bit overcooked so next time I order it I will request medium rare to have a little bit of pink. I love how the crying tiger comes with some fresh cucumber so when it gets a little spicy it cools down the taste bud. I also try to grill pork which was grilled to perfection but it was a little bit on the dry side as well a little bit too overcooked. I also love how I got the crispy fried chicken which was perfect and tender and it comes with some Thai chili sauce which you can dip it in and it is very sweet and savory and crunchy all in one bite. Also don't forget to try there Thai tea which is really refreshing and milky. The setup of a ghost kitchen is you order online and you go there and pick up your order after you ring the doorbell and the sweet Mama comes and bring out your food to you and then you go on your way. This is located in Midtown Sacramento on 22nd Street near Zoe tacos. Have you been and would you check it out? Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day.

I absolutely love Cluckin Good. Perfect 10/10 experience for my take out order. The Hainan chicken and crying tiger are my must order menu items. The meat was tender. The NY was cooked to my prefer temperature of medium rare. I love the Thai spicy BBQ sauce as it compliments the NY. The garlic rice was so fragrant and delicious. The Thai iced tea was perfect. It was not water downed. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We ordered this via DoorDash. I got the hainan chicken. It came with rice, soup, and some kind of sweet sauce. The chicken was tender. The sauce was too sweet for my liking. The soup was kind of sweet; i was expecting a more bland and very chicken-brothy broth if that makes sense lol! Overall it looked unappealing, and tasted very bland to me. It tasted like something I can easily and quickly make at home. I don't think i would get it again.

I personally love clucking good because it's service is very well and amazing I love how the deep fry things like the egg rolls this was written by a 10 year old

    Very stingy with sauce.

The location was a bit odd, as there were barely any other businesses nearby. There is street parking that you can pay for. It's a fairly small restaurant. We were were seated pretty quickly. Service was very friendly. I would say that portions were pretty reasonable. Things we ordered: -Pineapple fried rice: Very fragrant with the char and flavorful. Seasoned very well. We opted for mild spice on this. I would order this again. -Chicken pad thai: Done very well! Some places the pad thai is too sweet, but this one was very balanced and had a good tamarind flavor. Medium spicy was a bit on the spicy side, but perfect for me! Would order this again. -Duck larb: Unique, but I couldn't tell it was duck. My partner enjoyed this more than I did. The portion for the larb was on the smaller side and it came with some lettuce, radish, carrots, cucumbers. -Mee kati ground pork: A very unique dish that not many Thai restaurants seem to have, in which it came with noodles, and a variety of toppings like beans sprouts, lettuce, green beans, peanuts, and cilantro. It came with a fermented curry gravy, and it delicious! I would totally order this again. -Green Thai tea: Quite fragrant and not too full on half and half like some other places have it. It's also not as sweet as another local Thai restaurant. I would actually order this again. -Classic Thai tea: Strong Thai tea flavor, also not too sweet. Overall, Hiso was a great Thai/Lao restaurant and I would totally come back and recommend this place!

The red curry was really good imo but my husband said it could have been thicker and more flavorful. The pad thai was decently spicy for a medium rating. Very good flavor and I would say one of the better pad thais you can get in Sacramento. Not overly saucy like in some places. We also ordered the Tum Luang Pra Bang, green papaya salad with fermented fish sauce. I will say, the execution and the quality of ingredients were superb, I personally couldn't get past the flavor, but my mom, a stronger SEA woman, loved it! The staff was very nice and polite. The ambiance was very cute, gave cafe/small restaurant vibes. I have been in the area for awhile and this place has been a revolving door of restaurants. I hope this one sticks!

Before that, I remember when this spot used to be Tasty House. Small parking lot shared with a smog station off of Stockton Blvd between Fleming and Chandler/66th, a block south of Florin. Super small dining room capacity too, I'd say maybe less than 50 people? I've also tried their pork katsu appetizer and caramel matcha with salted cheese cream. This most recent visit, I was torn between the katsu or katsu curry donburis, but ultimately went with the tamagoyaki unagi don and a caramel milk tea. Shared the chicken karaage which was perfectly breaded, crispy, thick and juicy with every bite just like last time. Honey mustard dipping sauce on the side. Also shared one sushi taco (this time salmon/sake) and Mom got the beef gyudon. Other than matcha or milk tea, they also have seasonal drinks like guava, butterfly tea, ube, peach oolong, Japanese coffee, etc. Next time might go for a ramen to try or that rich curry udon dish. I will also say a sushi taco is easier to eat than a handroll or a sushi burrito. The wooden spoons were interesting for the rice bowls. The portions are pretty big and this cute little spot in South Sac is worth checking out! Open 11:30am-9pm daily.

I also always take friends and family visiting here and it never disappoints. The yelp wait is pretty accurate, so I recommend joining before you head over to avoid having to wait there. Last time I went and checked, it was about an hour wait so I joined it and did some grocery shopping nearby before going there. I've had everything on the menu so it's up to the point where it depends on what I'm feeling. Everything on the menu is different so it's not too hard to choose. If I want something soupy, I'll go for the crab udon, if I want rice, the fried rice, something full of flavor, the Banh Mi Chao, something light, then the Banh Khot (good option since they don't make Banh Xeo on the weekends). The last time I went 07/04/2026, I noticed on the wall they were having a special, Bun Bo Hue, which I love when I go to pho restaurants. I'm not sure if it's new or I've been blind this whole time, but it did not disappoint. It was full of flavor, and it was nice that they put the spicy paste on the side for you to adjust the spiciness. I love spicy foods but one of my friends do not, so it was easy for us to enjoy our meal. It was also not just a spicy sauce to add; there was a past along with it. Shrimp paste maybe? I didn't ask, but it enhanced the flavor, so I recommend using it. Their sister restaurant, Me's Kitchen is next on my list to try. Can't wait!

I just wished they gave more lettuce or at least allowed refills. More veggies was an extra charge. The xôi thập cẩm and bánh mì chảo were also good. The cà phê dừa was blended so it was more smoothie-like. The sweet coconut balanced out the strong coffee. Overall, we had a great and filling lunch. Yes, today was our first. I'm a sucker for excellent customer service and Cafe Burma and Mikayla had me at HELLO. LOL NOTE: I DIDN'T DO ANY PRE- REVIEW UPON ARRIVING. The husband wanted a Monday Date night and who am I to say No. What we had: *Planta with Chicken Coconut Dip. This planta is a crossover of naan with Mochi like middle with the prefect crisp served with an amazing Chicken sauce. Yah...will be having this again. Hubby had most of it because I was saving my appetite for what's to come. *TeaLead Salad - Yes its a MUST. The fried seasoned garlic is the secret to why this salad hits the palate in the most perfect way. The dressing is oil based which wasn't over powering or even greasy. The peanut was tastefully done. Yes - I ate most of it. Fresh ingredients in every bite. *Chili Basil Beef - at first glance, it looked like Mongolian Beef but far from the taste. The cumin, ginger and chili flakes gave this dish the wow factor. Mind you, I dislike ginger pieces and didn't come across one piece so they must have used ginger powder which I appreciate. We all know the benefits of ginger and I feel like I got a dose of it without biting into one. *PadThai - we were warned that the Burmese way come with a hint of sweetness and this was definitely true but notoverpowering. Husband enjoyed it, me not so much. The dishes came with extra large prawns. You can tell the prawns we're seasoned first hand before getting tossed into the mix. DRINKS: Husband had the coconut monsoon (rum with coconut flakes and I had Bite Dog HAZY IPA - yum. Prime location - corner of 16th street and J, street parking. Restaurant was clean and with a bar and open kitchen concept. What I would have liked: I wish the aesthetic of the restaurant showcased the culture. Wish the dishes were served in a more traditional serving plates. My eyes eat first so I would have appreciated the extra touch but the TASTE definitely made up for it. Will definitely be back! Need to try a dessert next time. Thanks for having us Chef Burma.

I ended up ordering the Umami Udon with special chicken as my protein ($13.50), a Build Your Own Bowl with fried rice, katsu chicken, the triple katsu sauce, and stir fried veggies with "The Works" ($16.50), and Musubi ($8.75). The staff was super friendly and helped me make some decisions for my order and recommended the umami udon special, which I'm so happy about. The food was made fresh and took a little bit, but was packed with care and was nice and hot. I took it home to enjoy and the food was still hot and the portion sizes were really generous. The Umami Udon was amazing, it had perfectly cooked udon noodles that had a great chew in a creamy teriyaki sauce with smokey bacon, mushrooms, onions and garlic. It was a great mix of sweet and savory and lived up to it's umami name. I would order this again and again, it was so good. The Build Your Own bowl was also delicious and I can see why the chicken katsu is a customer favorite. The veggies were fresh and the fried rice was really flavorful. The Spam Musubi had thick slices of spam with a nice marinade and came with sauces for dipping. I tried their sukiyaki set, both wagyu and seafood. I wish they had given some instructions on the approach or order I should eat the sets of food. It was a little chaotic trying to figure out how I could submerge all the ingredients in the broth so they would cook evenly. The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not. Would I go back to Azayaka again? 100%. This would not discourage me from going back there any amount.
