Ok, first I want to say that this is only the second time I've had Thai food ever. It certainly wont be the last! My date ordered the drunkin noodles and I got the pad thai. Both were excellent, The service was great and the food came out supper fast. The place is gorgeous too. For dessert we tried the Thai pudding, it was interesting to say the least. I have had many thai places in my day but this one definitely makes my top 3. Not only was the food good but so was the service. I didn't even see the inside of the place since my girlfriend and I decided to eat at one of the tables on the sidewalk, which was really ejoyable. Their presentation on the plate was really wonderful as well as the flavor of food. But what really made it over the top was the thai iced tea. I am a thai iced tea fiend and this place definitely has the best, bar none. I would go back just for the thai iced tea. First time here last night. It looks small from outside, but there is a lot of seating in the long suite inside. Plus, around 5-6 tables outside. Started with a dumpling appy, served quickly and tasted very fresh ingredients. Entrees were the Seafood Fried Rice and Beef Drunken Noodles. Both prepared with medium spice. Both were delicious, with just the right amount of spice for spice lovers. Not overwhelming, but you know you just ate Thai food. The scallops melted, almost with no chewing. Exquisite. I've been to Thai Thai II maybe 5 or 6 times now and the food is consistently very good. Somehow, each time I go, I get seated very quickly without a reservation. The service is always good and the staff is attentive. The food isn't the greatest thai food I've ever had, but it is my favorite place in this area. It is far and away better than everything else around. Its BYOB, but I've never actually brought wine so I'm not sure what the corking fee is. I'd say skip the alcohol here and walk to any number of other places close by for a drink afterwards. If you want thai food, this place should be your go-to. read more

My husband, sister, and I stumbled upon Thai Thai II and were pleasantly surprised! It was amazing...the service was great and the food was to die for. We ordered two of their curry dishes and their drunken noodles. We asked for mild versions of these plates as we prefer not so spicy foods. It was some of the best curry dishes we've had. I think the food was okay. It is terribly over priced. I have eaten in better Thai places in NYC, and this does not even come close. I also have to say that the host/owner did not know what the heck he was doing. Some people came in and claimed to have had reservations when they did not. We did not, and eneded waiting for nearly an hour when we were told it would be twenty minutes. It also took nearly an hour to get our meals. All of us ordered the same thing. The apetizers were very tasty, however, the portions were extremely small for what you paid. Nearly nine dollars for four dumplings was offensive. At one point, they played the birthday song for someone's birthday. They had the volume up SO loud, that I nearly went deaf in my other ear. I think if you don't mind over-spending for medicore food, then this would be an okay place. I think they need to step it up a bit. read more

I've been here 10 + times in the last few years. I almost always get the yellow curry because it is so delicious and consistently good. I also love the Thai spring rolls and the sauce that comes with them. After a long and productive day, my wife and I decided on Thai Thai II for dinner. The evening was spectacular, just like my red curry vegetarian Tofu entree. The dish really packed a punch, and it paired perfectly with a semi-dry white wine. My wife's green curry entree with chicken just blew her away. The service was terrific and the food was delicious. We went out to dinner with family (11 people total) I have a few complaints. First it took a long time to come out. It may be just because of the number of people. Secondly, the food was served on dirty plates. They also missed 2 orders. :( Despite these problems, the food was excellent though!! Natcha was an excellent waitress. Prices are respectable and I LOVE that it's BYO. The owners are very friendly and enjoy conversing with their customers. Waitstaff are extremely friendly and willing to help choose dishes for the novice, but they might not believe someone initially when a very hot dish is ordered and are told "I like spicy, I can handle it" (even when my Vietnamese friend, a regular, orders)! Bathrooms are spacious and clean. No reservations required but I recommend doing so as this place becomes rather busy and its not fun waiting a long time to be seated. Remember, this is a BYO so there is no bar to sit and mingle at. Business casual attire is fine. Don't show up in athletic shorts, pajamas or anything else that makes you look like a vagrant. That's what diners are for. Thai Thai II treats their guests to white linen table clothes with formal table settings. I've only been there once but it's enough that I can say I'm a fan. The serving size was ample and it was filled w/ flavor! We were all stuffed. I had some sort of fried rice w/ chicken. You know what I think I'm going to make plans to go back tomorrow! You must check it out if you're into Thai / Asian food. I quickly rolled down the reviews and noticed one poor review... the only thing I can say about that it seemed like she ordered the curry chicken not realizing she just didn't like it... Very attentive, friendly staff. We were seated immediately without a reservation, however, we were there a bit early (6:00ish) for dinner. We had spring rolls for an appetizer which were very good. My entree was thai fried rice with chicken. The portion was huge - I took half home in a box. It was tasty and fresh, but I must admit I've had better thai fried rice (same portion size with shrimp for less $) in Allentown. I had the seafood soup and it was a little skimpy on the seafood; it was mainly broth, but all in all it has a great location, its spacious (unlike a lot of Bethlehem's best restaurants), its BYOB, great service, and great thai food.
