Best Authentic Thai Food in Bethlehem period! There are a lot of amazing restaurants along Main Street in Bethlehem and I must say that the food here is some of the tastiest around the whole area. Very friendly staff and ingredients are very fresh. Owner is a gentleman. I would recommend this amazing Thai Restaurant which is literally right next to Hotel Bethlehem. Forgot to mention fast service and this place does get extremely busy on weekends so a reservation would be a great idea. My favorite is the Panang Chicken Curry! read more

I arrived at the restaurant around 6pm on a Saturday. They were immediately able to seat a group of 5 but the restaurant filled up shortly after. Thai Thai is one of my favorite restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. Their food is fantastic and their prices are more than reasonable. I would recommend their establishment to anyone without batting an eyelash. (FYI, it's BYO.. which is awesome!) My favorite dishes are the duck with pineapple and the pad thai. I ask for a little spice in the pad thai, which is a great compliment to the peanut sauce. Try either, you won't be disappointed. Keep up the great work Thai Thai ! read more

My wife and I have eaten both lunch and dinner here over the past few months and have not had a bad meal. Staff is very attentive and polite. I am always tempted to go spicy, which they can surely do, but common sense usually prevails. Lunch prices are very reasonable dinner prices a little more hefty but not cost prohibitive. Main Street has gone through a wonderful revitalization and you can't throw a stick without finding a great place to eat. Service was top, the Thai tea is so delicious and they made everything as requested, I like spicy and it was prefect but with a great taste to the food also. Thai Thai II has the best Thai food I've had anywhere, including New York City (no, I have never been to Thailand, unfortunately). I've dined there three times. The first two times were great...everything was not only good, but exceptional. Subtle flavors, fresh ingredients, wonderful sauces, excellent presentation, great staff and service. Crowded too! We sampled soups, fish, several curries (green, Masaman and Panang) and an assortment of appetizers...all first rate. A little slippage in quality on my third visit however. Rice was dry and should not have been served. My dish was not as spicy as I requested. But everything else was just fine. Thai Thai II is BYOB. Thai Thai II will be opening a new restaurant in Emmaus, Pennsylvania in the near future and I believe they have acquired a liquor license for their Emmaus location. Watch for it! Amir read more

The honey duck was very good, and so was the soup (which I can't remember the name of... a bit spicy, with shrimp)... The service, however, was slow. And the prices were high -- even before I ordered the brown rice, for which I was charged $3 extra...over the top, in my book. I was never told that there would be an extra charge. And in order (presumably) to justify that charge, I was brought the brown rice I ordered, and right next to it, the white rice that came with my meal. "You get this anyway," explained the waitress. As someone who believes there's too much waste in this country, that was a real turn-off. read more

One night, I and a companion hoped to catch a late dinner at the Bethlehem Brew Works, but were disappointed to find that, being underage, we were unable to enter the premises after 9:00 pm. Dejected, we continued down Main Street searching for any restaurants that could feed us for a reasonably low price. We lingered briefly in front of the then-new Thai restaurant but, assuming from the decor that it exceeded our price range, we soon walked on. Scarcely had we taken ten steps before we heard a voice shouting from behind us: "We have seats for you! We have seats for you right now!" Turning around, we found the host from Thai Thai running down the sidewalk after us and beckoning us to his restaurant. Impressed by the gesture, we resolved to spend the extra dime and try out the new restaurant. It turned out to be a very good decision. There is a wide range of entrees costing between $11-$15 (my personal favourite is the Pad Nam Prik Pao, and the curry dishes are all fantastic as well,) and more expensive dishes ($20-$35) including some exquisite Duck options and impressive seafood platters. The portions appear to be disappointingly small, but its only an illusion. I have never walked away from Thai Thai without feeling both satisfied and somewhat stuffed. The service is immaculate, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is spectacular. For a very unique and memorable experience, bring a friend for his birthday and inform the staff of the occasion. Thai Thai offers delicious food, generous portions, reasonable prices, exceptional service, and a clean, peaceful atmosphere. Our first visit to Thai Thai almost didn't happen. My husband (then boyfriend) and I were college students and upon glancing through the front door of this new establishment, we thought it might perhaps be a bit too pricey judging by the appearance. We decided we ought to continue on our quest for food on Main Street. Nevertheless, the owner happened to spy us and was soon chasing us down the sidewalk assuring us that a table was ready for us immediately. We couldn't really back away at that point, and we were (and are) so glad that we didn't! Our entire family frequents the establishment now, and we are all treated royally in return. I can't say I'm an expert on Thai cuisine, but I have loved every dish I've tried. They are very good about making dishes mild or spicy as requested. After crying through my usual Thai Thai dish in another restaurant out of town, I suddenly became all the more grateful for that. Also, it's BYOB. read more

Like other reviewers, I found the service to be....Oh wait, WHAT SERVICE???? There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to how the wait staff share thier duties and certianly they dont appear to be assigned to any particular tables. I was there recently with a party of 12. Some of us recieved our meals while others had to wait a good( actually bad) 5 minutes till thier meal appeared. BUT, having said that let me also say that the Food is fabulous. This was not the first time I was there and each time I thouroghly enjoyed the meal. I had a seafood dish with Medium level of spice and could feel the sweat on my head. MMMM Good. Had lunch at Thai Thai II and just happened to stumble upon it during a scouting mission looking for a place near my office. Great deal for lunch and dinner menu appeared to be reasonable considering location. Had the Red Curry Chicken and complimentary soup at 9.99. You can't get a deli sandwich and soup for that at any local shop that is comparable in taste. I've eaten here several times in the last five years for both lunch and dinner. I have always been pleased with their service and quality of food, but the last two times have been a letdown. My last dinner was suddenly disrupted with the Happy Birthday to You blasting into my ears because my table was right under the speakers. Their food was as good as before, but the recent visit for lunch was a serious letdown. Their curry had stringy string beans, which I could overlook, but the rice that came with my and my companions' dishes were all old and at times hard to chew through. This meant that the rice was left to dry for a prolonged time, which gives me food safety concerns. What a disappointment. read more
