I LOVE Thai Thai. Never had a meal there that I didn't like. Recommend chicken satay, pad Thai, drunken noodles, curry... it's all awesome. The service is great! Our waitress was really attentive and sweet. The place is a fair size but definitely can warrant a wait if it's during their peak hours. The restaurant is a decent size with lots of seating that could accommodate larger parties as well. The food was pretty good, typical for a Thai restaurant. The portion sizes are good enough to share family style. We started off with the lettuce wraps that was crunchy and fresh and came with a great peanut sauce. First off, this is in a very quaint downtown area of Bethlehem. The door is small and easy to miss, but let me tell you not to miss it! The food was very tasty and true Thai. If you want spicy, you will find it in a dish like Pad Prik Khing. If you want something mild and savory, the Pad Thai is delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt as though we were the only people there on a Saturday evening. Don't be confused by other Thai places close, look for Thai Thai with the blue/purple sign and the small door and you won't be disappointed! Always a good meal and service at Thai Thai. Went there last night with cousins from Virginia who are visiting for the weekend. One of them has severe food allergies. The waitress was very sweet and patient while our cousin asked many questions about the food and how it was prepped. Our waitress was unsure about a few things and went to get the manager Christina. Christina had a better grasp on the allergy situation and offered up a dish that she thought would be the best option for our cousin to try. Amazing customer service ! Special thanks go out to Christina for that !! Her meal was very tasty as was my wife's Pad Thai. I ordered the Panang Curry which was very good. Our other cousin ordered the same as me and she enjoyed it very much. Two orders of Mango sticky rice and one order of Asian deep fried cheescake rounded out the night. It took a half hour to receive one salad and then another half hour after that to receive our two lunch entrees. I don't know the area so well but rather expensive considering I'm not in NYC. They have a nice vegetarian selection separated in their menu which is thoughtful and sort of what convinced me to order from here versus the other thai spots (that were equally priced btw). The vegetarian Panang Curry medium spicy was delicious - good serving of vegetables, crisp large tofu pieces, good consistency curry and spice level (not too bland but not too spicy that you can't taste anything else). I asked for medium spicy Pad Thai Noodles as well but they were totally bland and disappointing. I ended up combining the noodles w/ my Panang curry and my meal was instantly better. I also had the Tom Kha soup which is an "aromatic herb soup with mixed vegetable, coconut milk, mushroom and tofu." I personally did not like this soup; felt like I was drinking Alfredo sauce. It was rather creamy and maybe it's just me but I could smell cheese... I've never had this soup before so I'm not sure but I didn't particular like it. Not a bad spot but I've certainly had better; there is potential for this restaurant esp at the pricetag PS!! There is an extra $1 added to every item you order during dinner time. This is a solid Chinese restaurant in the heart of charming downtown Bethlehem. It's between several art galleries. And at one time, I wouldn't be surprised if this location was a art gallery too given layout of the building. As typical with Thai food, the menu has many vegetarian. I went with the drunken noodles, which had the right level of spiciness. I also really liked the Golden tofu triangles that had a grounded peanut sauce, which I'm sure they made. We arrived on a snowy Friday night. We parked in the parking deck behind Brewworks. I've heard nothing but good things about Thai Thai and was pretty stoked to check it out ! We had a reservation for 7pm. We showed up on time and were pleasantly greeted. We had 2 bottles of white wine in hand. Hostess to us to the table (in the back) and offered an ice bucket for our wine, which we accepted. Wow, everyone is so friendly here, and they are all smiling. This is the place for me. My guest and I ordered MERMAID SHRIMP and VEGGIE SPRING ROLLS! Both were amazing, tasty, fresh, hot, and really satisfying. We thought THE MERMAID SHRIMP (or they call it THE LITTLE MERMAID) was really cute in presentation, however, we didnt think they were worth 9.99 for 5 shrimp. The value of the appetizer made us take a star off. I guess they don't serve booze so they do need a way to make money, I get that, but charging 9-10 bucks for each appetizer? Our spring rolls were great, but there were only 3 on the plate. Fancy, yes. Delish, yep. Worth 20 dollars in appetizers? Nope ;( We drank some more wine and waited for our meals. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with Chicken, spicy. The waitress wanted me to elect spicy on a scale from 1 star to 5 star (5 being the hottest). I elected 4 stars of heat. My guest ordered the signature dish Pad Thai. That dish was amazing. My dish arrived and was soooo flavorful and even a bit spicier than expected.. I mean ... What does the 5 star spicy taste like?? My tongue was burning with every bite, and I thought I can handle it, I love spicy. But damn... My tongue was BURNING! It was on the edge of PAINFUL. But after 20 mins of eating,..The sting/burn finally ceased. Boy oh boy was it good!!! Within about 40 minutes the place was packed and we were on a 2nd bttl of wine! I really liked it here. Food was very good from the coconut rice, to the red curry. Service very friendly, a touch slow, but made to order food will be that way. The place is BYOB, but there is a local winery store a few doors up the street, as well as a wine/beer shop across Main, so you can save a bit of money there. I'd certainly go again. read more

We were probably in and out of there within 30 minutes from the quick service and how great the food was! I was full after my Pad Thai lunch at 1pm, I didn't even have dinner that night! I came here for the second time while visiting our daughter at school. My wife ordered her standard fare of chicken pad thai. My daughter ordered the green curry chicken and I ordered the red curry duck. We ordered it at a level of 4 out of 5 for spiciness. The food was really good. The spice level for us was just right for my daughter (but I will order 5 next time). The flavors were well balanced and all our dishes were very good. I really enjoyed my duck and they were generous with their serving of duck. Overall, the service and food was a hit and I would recommend this place! read more

I love their red curry! I get it the spiciest they make it, it has a great kick to it and the tofu and vegetables in it I love! The pineapple fried drive it's also abating, highly recommend! I am so sad this was bad. I came a few years ago when I was back in town it was good. I can get over crap service, especially byob, because I don't feel like the restaurant ever invests enough in having someone be attentive because they are attending to half the restaurant, but this was so so bad. The food was ice cold and we had to send it back twice, and I never send anything back. And even on try three, which was cold, the food wasn't good. I hate the people who write bad reviews and don't tell Management so I told management. They told me to come back again and it would be good. The food was decent, tasty, but not as spicy as we like (should have told them to make it spicy for us). The restaurant is on the Main street but easy to miss. My family and I have visited this restaurant numerous time and most recently during Musikfest 2017. The location is wonderful in downtown historic Bethlehem. I absolutely LOVE their Pad Thai. I can't seem to stray from that because I love it that much. We also had the Vegetarian Spring Rolls which came with a nice sauce to dip them in. They were delicious as well. The restaurant is very clean and has a fancy feel with the linens on the tables. The service is very friendly and the bathrooms are clean as well. The prices are reasonable. My Vegetarian Pad Thai was $13.99 and was a considerably large portion. I had leftovers for lunch the next day! Bonus! read more

We dined here to celebrate our friend's 25th birthday and we had a relatively great time. The food was beyond yummy and we were even served a little spice tray to heighten the spice of our meals. The waitress who attended us was attentive and friendly, and worked very hard to serve us thoroughly. At the end of our meal, suddenly, the lights went out and a light started flashing and a song came on blasting into the room singing "happy birthday"! We were so delighted and our girl was beyond thrilled to be celebrated so intently. Portions here are very big also, so you certainly get what you pay for. My new favorite Thai spot! read more

Thai Thai was a member panel experience. My family and I came here about 45 mins before closing and they took our large group. The service was so fast. Thai Thai II is a brand new restaurant in historic Bethlehem and it's a welcomed new addition to the already stirring downtown area. Having just opened during the very busy holiday season in this area is a huge bonus as they're assured to draw a big crowd and they most certainly did on Saturday night. Be warned. With or without reservations, you should expect to wait a bit. Organization is extremely lacking here. We were walk-ins and came at the absolute right moment. Fortunately, they seated us right away right but at a very uncomfortable table about 6 feet from the cold entrance. After we sat down, there were several parties who arrived after having made reservations and were told they had to wait at least 20-30 minutes, if not longer. People were not happy. Some just left, others waited. Another problem arises. There's almost no waiting room in the restaurant so people were standing literally two feet from our table, staring at us. Not so good. The food was good, not great but good. We ordered the crab roll which was tasty but portions were tiny. I always order the Pad Thai because I really think it's the classic dish that needs to be put to the test at every Thai restaurant I visit for the first time. The texture of the noodles shined through here. It was the right amount of sauce, with plenty of the traditional limes, crushed peanuts and crisp bean-sprouts. Kudos. My friend ordered the rather disappointing yellow curry with chicken. It wasn't the strongest tasting dish, but it was decent. The rice that came with it was on the small side so he ordered another bowl. That's $1.75 extra. A tad pricy for a mere bowl of rice that could have really fit in the palm of my hand. Caveat filthy lushes: Thai Thai II does not serve ANY alcoholic beverages. This restaurant is drier than pledge week at BYU. They carry the standard non-alcoholic drinks (apparently plenty of Perrier). It is BYOB here so that's a perk that will definitely soften your bill. All in all, this place is decent. I imagine I will have to pay a second visit and sample more complex dishes from their massive menu to make a more rounded review. I'm a tad forgiving on the organization aspect because they're so new and probably weren't prepared for the massive holiday crowd that Bethlehem attracts. But pad thai is pad thai. If you put it in a nice dimly lit room in a bustling area, they will come. Oh yes, they will come. read more

I eat Thai food for two reasons. First, there are the interesting and different flavors. Second, for its almost supernatural ability to cure hangovers (Carbs! Protein! Bean sprouts!). Thai Thai II provides both of these things perfectly. I'm a Drunken Noodle or Pad Thai man. Sure, they aren't the most adventurous dishes on the restaurant's menu, but as far as my big dumb tastebuds go, they're delicious to the point where it's difficult to branch out and try something else. The restaurant itself is date-night material - clean, well-lit and high-class enough to make you forget you got there in an '89 Tercel. Whether eating inside or out on the sidewalk, you'll get a cheery and attentive server. Oh yeah, and it's a BYOB joint - always awesome. As far as takeout goes, I couldn't be happier. Every time I've called in an order, I'm greeted by a voice asking me in perfect English what I'd like. Cooking time usually takes less than 15 minutes for two entrees, and they're always correct. I order mine "hot", which provides enough spice to make me satisfactorily perspire in my un-air conditioned apartment, but doesn't light my tongue on fire. If tastebud-destruction is more of your thing, I'm sure you can ask for a spice tray. Eat here! read more

This might the best Thai food anywhere near Philly. Portions are large, come with quite a lot of sauce, and are great to have the next day with more rice. Everything we've tried (well, mostly just drunken noodles, pad thai, and the chili string bean suace) is delicious. Service is friendly and on-point. Our son is a student at nearby Lehigh University, and visit him frequently to take him to dinner. This was our first time at Thai Thai. Ok, so the food was good, solid Thai. About average compared to what we'd find back home in Balt/DC. Quality fried rice, pad Thai, and drunken noodles. I ordered the seafood fried rice, with max spice. It was deelish, with great kick. My wife did the old standard Drunken Noodles, and it didn't disappoint. But.......as good as the food was, the service dragged the overall experience down like an anchor tied to your leg. Brutal. Laughable. Rude. Vacant. We waited for a good 10-15 minutes after being seated for anyone to acknowledge us. Annoying, but not a huge deal, we knew they were busy. The waiter who showed up seemed both distracted and clueless. When I ordered my seafood fried rice, I TWICE stated "no asparagus" (they mix it in, and I can't stand the stuff). Our dinners were delivered with the haste and mani\a of a NASCAR pitstop, and of course, mine was loaded with asparagus, but the deliverers disappeared so fast I couldn't stop them in time. Plus, our waiter was again nowhere to be found, and didn't once check back to see if we needed anything. So I ended up pawning the nasty green stuff on my wife. Earlier, when we ordered edamame as an app, I'd asked for some soy sauce, since it arrived dry. The waiter smiled, nodded, and disappeared. No sauce. When he finally came back to refill our water glasses several minutes later, I asked for soy a second time. Nothing. Finally, after our dinners came, I flagged down the owner/manager who brought us a tray of sauces. The kicker was at the end. We were given the check with no offer of dessert or coffee. They couldn't wait to get us out the door, and were being pushy, not that we were camping out in the least. One of the people with us got up to use the bathroom before we left. As we were waiting, my wife was chilly, and stood up just to put on her coat. The idiots actually took her chair while she was standing, with the rest of us still seated! Really? Did you need the chair THAT badly? Sorry, but with service like that, plus the whole BYOB nonsense, I can honestly state without fear of contradiction that we will NEVER return, no matter how good their food was.
