Tom kha goon: 3/5 Coconut shrimp soup. For me, it was too sweet. I like mine more sour and salty. Not bad though. Panang chicken: 5/5 It came in a huge plate and it was soooo good! The flavor was amazing! When you want to eat Panang, this is the best place to have it. It has bell pepper, peas, chicken, onions. Highly recommend! My server Leo also gave us a spice plate on the side, which highlighted the meal. I loved the fresh cut chili peppers in the fish sauce! Chicken pad Thai: 3/5 - per my husband. He says he's had better before, lacked flavor but once he poured the Panang in his pad Thai, he finished it all. I had a bite and I agree, it was lacking more flavor. Mango sticky rice: 4/5 I loved mango sticky rice! It was actually really good. Creamy and sweet! My only complaint was that the rice could use more coconut milk and sugar, it was a little dry but the base of the plate was layered with fresh coconut milk that we can dip so it all worked out! Service: 5/5 Leo was great, very polite and attentive. Always refilled our drinks before it went empty. Ambiance: 100/10. The inside is like a museum, front of the entrance to the bathroom. It's so beautiful. It's an actual experience getting to eat here. They have from the ceilings to the floor decorated with authentic Thai sculptures and paintings. Ordered the Pad Thai Woon Sen which was supposed to have glass noodles but was served regular Phad Thai. Wait for food was longer than average and it was late at night so I didn't bother bringing it to the server's attention. It was sweet as expected but with a bitter aftertaste - don't order it. The Yum Woon Sen salad was ok, not as citrusy as I prefer. Tiger Tear marinated beef was tasty but a little tough. Ambiance was visually appealing with intricate and cultural Thai decor however the hand carved tables and benches lost their appeal as they were used store takeaway/to go containers and bags. read more

Visiting another family that had arrived from MCO and staying at a nearby Orlando resort on International Drive. Decided to take some takeout dinner for them after a long flight and arrival late into evening. Tried Thai Thani. Large purchase and they made a mistake by not providing a coconut juice ($3.95, which was charged to our card - wife called them and they promised to take off, which they never did). Ordered Salmon Glory, Fried Calamari, Won-Ton soup, Yellow Curry with Squid, Garlic Meat, Pad Thai, Pepper Steak and a sweet sticky rice with mango and some Thai donuts. Food was expensive - $165 without tip, and not bountiful, nor great flavor. We were a little embarrassed when it when arrived at our friend's resort and displayed the food for essentially 9 people. Our family of four had already eaten at our resort, but we did have a little to taste and stay engaged with the other family who were starving after a 5 hr flight and arrival at 7 PM. Not worth the price nor the calories. Could find better next time. read more

I love good Thai food, and this is a great place for Thai. Thai Thani is an amazing place to have authentic Thai food. I enjoyed food here . Ambiance wise it's amazing to sit and enjoy. The atmosphere is serene and heavily decorated, and there are lots of little touches on the food that show they really care. I felt the pricing was fair, and the service was top notch. I did ask for some crushed peppers as I prefer it a bit hotter than it was served (I asked for spicy). It's all good...because the food here is delicious!! We had a late dinner and a fellow Yelper had recommended Coco Thai but they closed at 9pm. Thai Thani closed at 10pm and was close to where we were staying so it worked out. They had 4 stars, 1095 reviews and 1.6k photos so it looked like a popular spot. From the outside, it didn't look like much. When you walk in, it's like you've been transported to Thailand. There was so much going on in this space and it was busy decor but I was also very intrigued. Lots to look at and as if my ADHD wasn't bad enough. Lol. Loved the furniture with all the small details. We were sat at a booth in the back and it was nice. Our server Julian was very friendly and attentive. He broke down the menu for us and helped with a few suggestions. We ordered the Chicken Basilica Roll, Tom Ka Gai, Pan-Seared Seabass & Grilled Shrimp and of course the Mango Sticky Rice. So our entree and desserts came out first which was odd. Julian noticed and apologized and went to see what happened. No big deal as we were starving and didn't really care what came out first. Ha. The appetizer and soup came out about 10-15 min after the entree. It was good timing as we were finishing up the entree. Everything was really delicious! We didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Pan-Seared Seabass & Grilled Shrimp was cooked to perfection. You can pull off the layers on the Seabass and it was cooked just right. The flavors all worked together with the seafood, red curry sauce and green bell peppers and green beans. Love the crunch of the veggies with this dish. The Chicken Basilica Roll reminded me of my mom's Vietnamese Cha Gio aka Spring Rolls with the rice paper skin. You can't find many places that use the rice paper for spring rolls so this was nostalgic for me. The flavors of the roll were tasty and you dip it into a peanut sauce. So good. Tom Ka Gai was great with the coconut lemongrass flavors. The chicken in the soup was sliced thin and juicy. Lastly, the Mango Sticky Rice was BOMB!!! Because it's Mango Sticky Rice. My husband and I agreed that this is one of our favorite desserts. So simple and perfect. We were happy to find this cool Thai spot. Add it to your list and check it out. What a fun place and very authentic Thai food as well Of course I found this place on yelp and I highly recommend it. It was not busy the night that I went. There's plenty of parking both in front and behind the restaurant. I went with my Server recommendations and so glad I did. I started with the Tom Yum soup I don't like mushrooms so I had them hold that off. It was delicious . I then asked if I should go for the crab Rangoon potstickers or the steamed dumplings. He quickly said go for the steamed dumplings and they were delicious for my main course. I was torn between the pad Thai or the double delight. He quickly recommended the double delight, which included shrimp and chicken. It was delicious. It is very large inside and has the coolest decorations. Ordered Uber Eats. Requested chopsticks and napkins - didn't receive that request. I got the Pad Se-Ew. Supposed that have flat rice noddles. They noodles were over cooked that when I picked up a bite it was just a blob of noodle mush. It had no Chinese broccoli like the description on the menu indicates. No tofu option as the protein. Wow! Was on a trip a few weeks back and went out with a good friend! We started with the Golden Blanket Shrimp Rolls. I have never tried this type of dish but the shell was perfectly executed and as you can see delivered the crunch! Served with plum sauce on the side. I asked our server for some hot sauce and he brought me out several samples to try! A minced jalapeño relish and a chili hot sauce. The shrimp was amazing and the Thai flavors popped! My friend ordered the Phad Thai Woon Sen! It came out medium spice for him but he did say he wanted medium heat! The noodles were amazing and the shrimp looked fantastic. He loved the dish and couldn't even finish as the serving portions were very large. I ordered the chili jam dish - Thai hot! Was not disappointed I had the chicken as a protein. The picture doesn't do the dish justice at all! The bell peppers were delicious and the sauce was so interesting as it wasn't crazy sweet but delivered the heat. Loved the integration of celery, onion and basil leaves into the dish. Forgot to mention the restaurant itself! Felt like we were transported to Thailand from the bar to the unique decoration throughout the restaurant. Made the experience even more authentic! Have another business trip next month! Satay chicken was very good dipped in the peanut sauce but amazing when dipped in the cucumber sauce . Nam Sod had lots of onions other than that it was superb . I brought a group of 9 to eat at this restaurant. Hoping to find the true flavor of Thai. I'm from California and so I compare all the ethnic restaurants in Florida to the ethnic restaurants in California. I was sure this was not going to live up to my expectations. I tested them and ordered dishes that I would normally order at my favorite Thai restaurant in California. To my surprise, the dishes I ordered at Thai Thani was just as good as the same dishes I ordered in California. The only comment to Thai Thani is regarding their Prik Nam Pla. Add sliced garlic, lime juice the same amount is your fish sauce and finely chopped shallots. It will make that condiment perfect. Otherwise, I will always come back to this restaurant. I had an eggplant and tofu dish and neither the eggplant nor the tofu was seasoned with any kind of technique or flavor. If you have friends who want a great atmosphere and don't know or care about Thai food, this might be a good stop. Prices are okay. Otherwise, it's a pass. read more

My experience here was overall great! They have a ton of seating that can accommodate both small or large groups. They have an extensive menu including Thai cuisine as well as many other kinds of Asian cuisines. I got the beef combo hotpot and it was incredibly filling for someone like me who came in really hungry. I love the variety they provide for the veggies, carbs, and meat. The only thing I didn't like about the veggies is that it did look just a little bit dirty since there were a ton of brown dots on some of the cabbage slices. The mango sticky rice was great as well. In town for a convention, I was looking for a place close to my hotel that wasn't a chain and found Thai Thani. I popped in and placed a takeout order about 8 p.m. for a chicken Pad See Ew with the help of the friendly hostess. The place was packed, but about 20 minutes later, my food was ready to go. I brought it back to my hotel and opened it up- in a nice touch, they included a small container of chili sauce so you can control the heat level of your dish. After stirring in a little chili, I tasted it and was extremely pleased. The portion was very generous with a great mix of chicken, broccoli, Chinese broccoli, and wide noodles. The noodles were fried properly, and the flavors all melded well together. A top tier dish for around $21. Their prices are in line with what you'll pay at other restaurants in the area since it is bustling with tourists. If you're in the area for a convention or visiting nearby Sea World or Aquatica, Thai Thani is an outstanding choice. read more

I was in town for a convention, and had just gotten checked into my hotel. The convention was that afternoon and for the next couple of days, and I knew that the food situation for those days was going to be somewhat limited, so I figured I should get a good meal in beforehand. Situated on I-Drive, Thai Thani was relatively close to my hotel, perhaps a mile down the road. The building it is in holds a couple of other restaurants, all of them joined on the inside via an internal hallway exposed to the frontage of the building. My guess is that all three are owned by the same owner or family. Entering, I was greeted and seated in a reasonable time period and a drink order was taken. Time to look over the menu. There were the usual items that I expected to see on a Thai menu, and while I was tempted to go big, this was lunch time and I really didn't want to overdo it, so I went with just the summer rolls and a red curry. The summer rolls were nice, with a decent peanut sauce to go with them. The red curry was also good... I ordered it Thai hot, and what I got was what I expected in a high tourist area: medium-level heat. Of course, I asked for their house chili sauce, as it needed to be kicked up a couple of notches. Servers at Thai restaurants are always surprised when I use pretty much the entire ramekin of chili sauce they provide, but the sauce is usually well flavoured and provides that extra bit of heat that I so love. The prices here are a bit higher than what I am used to seeing, but it is a heavy tourist area and they have a fancier dining experience, so I will give that a pass. I would have loved to have tasted their Tom Yum soup, and had it been an evening meal would have definitely gone for that as well. All in all a good experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. read more

The Thai food was amazing. The noddles and chicken had really good flavor and you could tell the noodles were fresh. The inside of the Thai restaurant was incredible, very authentic and something I've never experienced before. Unfortunately I ordered to go and was bummed that I didn't just enjoy my food there. Overall great atmosphere, service was attentive and nice. At the end when the lady handed me my change she folded my dollar bills up with her change and formed a triangle envelope. Very impressed with the service, food quality, and flavor of all our meal choices. We ordered a couple of appetizers that were very solid and somewhat traditional entrees. Not very adventurous in our choices as a group this evening. I will share that in my soup where small pieces of green Thai chili peppers that I mistook for cilantro. Surprise! That's a chewing incident that I will remember for a long time. The restaurant is located in a plaza/strip mall that faces I drive. It was a wonderful surprise to walk in to the elaborately decorated space once you walk in.
