Ordered Thai Top Ten for delivery and got their Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and an "Appetizers for 2" which included Spring Rolls, Fried Wontons, Shrimp Tempura, and Fried Dumplings. Starting with the appetizers, I'd say these are pretty standard fried appetizers which were nothing to rave about, but weren't bad either. For the entrees, the Pad Thai was good but was lacking a bit in terms of flavor. When I think of Pad Thai, its either a sweet version or savory version, and this was oddly in the middle for me. Again, not bad, but I would've preferred a stronger flavor profile with this one. The Pad See Ew, on the other hand, had stronger flavors and I thought this was the best dish out of the bunch for me. All in all, Richmond has quite a variety of Thai restaurants and Thai Top Ten happens to be one of them. While it didn't blow me away, it was a solid meal and I'd say worth a try when you have the chance!

The food is great and I love how many options there are. Our server was super nice and we were pleasantly surprised to get a spring roll with our order. Overall, this was the best pho I've had so far in richmond. I definitely loved the spring rolls but though the sauce with the steamed dumplings were too sweet.

Oh my gosh you guys this is Richmond's biggest kept secret when it comes to Thai food!!! It is so relaxing and nice in there, and we always get greeted and served by what feels like the best waitress in the world Sarah!!! And we haven't even gotten started on the food. It is so amazing and rich and it's also super affordable compared to other Thai places in the area !!! just try this place once and you will be hooked!!

Ate here 4 years ago and remembered how good it was so we ate here again. Not sure why it too so long to return. Forgot to take more pictures but food looks and tastes fresh and good. Veggies are crisp and perfectly cooked. Spice levels can be adjusted to your taste but you are warned that if you select too hot, then it's too bad. We had medium and should have gone hotter. No matter; very tasty and filling. Sauces are good and soaked up by the rice. Only two or three persons work the seating area so you may be delayed getting your order in, but you will see them working really hard. Richmond has several really good Thai restaurant options. Kind of a hidden gem.

Unexpectedly stumbled across Thai top 10 today and was pleasantly surprised with a vegetable spring roll little appetizer to start. Food was very good as well and I cleaned my plate empty. I'm not sure sure if I was just thirsty but the water also tasted extremely satisfying and really quenched my thirst. Would recommend going, seems like a nice family owned buinsess and I liked the atmosphere ( got a nice window seat). In the photo is my fried tofu appetizer and my spring roll. Yumm

Worst Thai food ever eaten! There is no taste and smell really bad! This restaurant title is such a joke! If people want a good quality and taste thai food, please go to crazy thai!

They must really mean it because this sign is posted in several locations around the restaurant!

I got the Beef Noodle Soup, Soy Chicken Wings, and Lychee Berry Martini. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup and Soy Garlic Chicken Wings were piping hot and flavorful. 10/10 for the wings. 8/10 for the soup. The Lychee Berry Martini has great potential. I felt that it lacked depth in flavor profile. The space is huge for a walking-mall restaurant, with several dozen tables and booths. Music is nice background not overly loud. Service was absolutely excellent and food came out within minutes. Empty dishes picked up within seconds. We ordered an appetizer of crab rangoon. It came to us hot and tasty but to be honest it had little to no fake crab in it. That was a little disappointing. For our mains I had chicken stir fried noodles and pork soup dumplings. When it was put in front of me I thought the noodles looked like a smallish portion but this turned out not to be the case -- the dish was more than adequate and very nicely composed. I enjoyed every bit of it but barely finished it. The soup dumplings were umami-on-a-spoon. Served in a steam basket, these were very warm and the broth inside was just perfect. I thought it was a tad salty, my wife disagreed. And since it was her main course and not mine, I will bow to her opinion. This was a nice casual meal, especially for the price. If you go, do not pass up the opportunity to walk up to the bao station and watch the food being made. Our server encouraged us to do this, and it was really interesting, and the staff doesn't seem to mind the attention!

I had only planned on spending $60 or so but ended up spending $140 including a great tip for my waiter. I got the Fried Chicken Banh Mi, Dan Dan Noodles, and my guest ordered the Brisket Pho, and Singapore noodles alongside a Mojito and their coconut ice cube drink (blanking on the name). I loved every bite of my food. The Daikon Radish was the highlight of the Banh Mi and I was in love with every bite. Visibly dancing and gleaming with joy while eating + the great music being played also helped. I didn't eat my sandwich until it got cold as I like to finish a dish before trying another. I started with the Dan Dan noodles and had to drink 3 of the liters of water by myself to finish my meal . I took my guest's peppers and my peppers and crushed them up into my Dan Dan plate with all the seeds that came with them. In addition I also used all the chili oil paste it came with as well. It was so damn great I enjoyed every second. My guest loved their pho and didn't stop eating it and ate half of their Singapore noodles before getting full and having to take it home. They absolutely loved their drinks and it was so fun to watch the bartender make the drinks. Two shakers in hand mixing the drinks and oh boy were they strong . We will definitely be back!!! Oh and they also had chopsticks for us to use and we ate our entire meal with them. I knew I was in for a whirlwind of flavor when the ethnicities of the cooks matched the restaurant and patrons of color from Pakistani, Black, Indian, Korean, Thai, and more were dining in . Only downsides for me personally were the Singapore noodles but it wasn't my dish. I tasted them and didn't think they were for me I usually prefer a different ratio of seasoning for my Singapore noodles. My guest whose favorite dish is Singapore noodles quite adored them. Though they did say the Singapore noodles I make at home are better they still crushed it and the next morning woke up and crushed the rest with a smile on the face . Only thing I didn't like was the pho but that's my personal taste getting in the way. I don't like fish based broths but my guest ate every single last dropped and loved it! So if that's your alley go for it!!! 10/10 will try again!!! P.S. please tip the staff graciously they work so hard. If you're going to order a $100 worth of food don't be the person not tipping or tipping $10 when the service was excellent. Yes tipping cultures shouldn't exist but until they're paid a fair wage please continue to do so. I really hope this restaurant doesn't sell out like other restaurants (En Su Boca )

To me, a great presentation and a beautiful atmosphere are wonderful, but at the end of the day? Nothing can replace pure, authentic flavor. Well, Fat Dragon in Virginia absolutely blew me away. From the second we walked in, the experience was seamless. We had a party of eight with no reservation, and they sat us immediately. The ambiance was great, the portions were incredibly generous, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and completely on top of their game. Drinks arrived fast, and the entire meal flowed beautifully without a single hitch. But let's get to the real highlight of the night: the Tsingtao beer-battered mushrooms. Oh my goodness, they were out of this world! Perfectly fried and crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy on the inside, and dusted with a spicy Sichuan cloud that made them completely irresistible. They were so good that even my father--who isn't a mushroom lover at all--couldn't stop eating them! For my main course, I had the Fei Lone steak, and it was absolutely sublime. The entryway is interesting and provides some shelter from the rain, allowing you to manage your umbrella before entering. We were seated within seconds, and our server, Liza, came by very promptly with some water for our table. I felt slightly anxious at first, being that we were in a cozy two-top amongst the fray, but it subsided quickly because everyone was respectful and reasonably quiet. We ordered the veggie spring rolls to start, and I had the Chinatown Ramen, and my partner had the Chicken Fried Noodles. The appetizer was hot, savory, and spicy with the duck sauce and hot mustard mixture. If you like milder sauce, do not mix it. The entrees came out within five or so minutes of the appetizers, which seemed quick for a busy night. The ramen was spicy, hot, and filling. I was only able to finish about half. We will be enjoying those leftovers tonight. My partner said that her noodles and chicken were well-seasoned and delicious, too. Looking around the restaurant, it is clear that they support the local LGBTQ+ community, and it is even labeled as a Safe Space on the beautifully manicured, makeshift chalkboard/menu/posting board. The clientele and staff alike seemed warm and kind, based solely on limited interactions and observation on my part. If you are looking for a traditional American-Chinese food restaurant (think buffet-style items), this is likely not the place for you. There were no mishaps or snafus with our orders. Liza performed her duties well, and I can surely recommend this restaurant to anyone who doesn't mind a mix of Japanese and Chinese cuisine.
