Cute little six table restaurant located between Walmart and Petco. Super nice cashier, also brought the meals to our table. I chose the chicken Thai basil, mild with some hot chili sauce on the side to kick it up safely myself. Friend ordered the chicken stir fry with broccoli, carrots and maybe a few strings of onion, a simple choice for someone fearful of flavorful Thai dishes. Meals come out in a black plastic bowl with a lid, and a generous serving of Jasmine rice arrives in a cardboard box on the side. This is perfect because then the rice does not get soggy. Vegetable portions are big, the protein portion is very thinly sliced so less so. I was very pleased with the Thai basil vegetable assortment. My dish included baby corn on the cob, peppers, onions, basil, mushrooms, broccoli and carrots. I would like to see the basil have the larger stems cut off. Otherwise this dish was perfect, and I probably could have ordered the medium heat. Friend consumed a lot of their dish but wasn't as excited. I took some home and had it for dinner, combined with the basil leftovers and it was fantastic again. Well, after adding garlic chili paste it was! Hubby always looks forward to Thai food when we visit Phoenix and this place did not disappoint! I recently ordered this through DoorDash for lunch as I was stuck at work. I was really craving some Thai food that would make me smile and this did exactly that. I ordered the Kung pow chicken with extra sauce and peanuts. It tasted great and they followed the instructions accordingly. The sauce was super sweet and spicy, which paired well with the vegetables. I also got a side of eggrolls and they were super sweet and crunchy. My meal also came with a side of rice. We have dined in here a handful of times since they have opened. We really enjoyed the food. However, last night we came in at 830pm (they close at 9pm) to dine in. We were turned away because they close in 30 minutes but still accepting take out orders... If this establishment closes at 9 sharp. They should state "we close at 9pm" last seating was at 8pm, otherwise it is just strange guessing game. I got the Panang curry, medium spice, with tofu and noodles, plus I added broccoli. I love that there's no upcharge for noodles! Service was great! The dining area isn't huge but again, more for take out! I will say for the price I probably could have just gotten takeout from a higher end Thai place, but it wasn't bad. I'd seen very good reviews, so I was excited to try this place. Its more of a fast food type of restaurant, the cashier was very friendly. Unfortunately this did not meet our needs for Thai food. I had the fried rice and it tasted like Indian food to me (probably another spice they use, I do not like Indian food). I ordered medium spice and it was too spicy. This is my third time ordering take out from Thai'd Up in the last two months and can I just say that I'm in love with this place! It is a small, colorful, and clean place with maybe four or five tables. The menu is filled with fresh and delicious food! The savory Tom Kha Soup w/chicken, Panang Curry w/chicken, and Pad Se Ew are my favorites. The eggrolls are tasty, crunchy, and not greasy. The coconut shrimp is flavorful, and the Thai Iced Tea is the perfect drink to wash it all down. The service is also top-notch! Each time I have gone in to order my food, the same guy has been up front to extend a friendly greeting, and is always helpful with answering any questions about the delicious dishes they serve. Great semi-hidden gem in North Phoenix! I just moved back from Seattle, and if you know how amazing the Thai food scene is there, you'll understand why I was impressed. It's a small place that looks like it focuses on to-go orders. Sitting and waiting for my food, I heard the kitchen staff all speaking in Thai as well. We picked up a to-go order from here tonight and it was exactly what we wanted! We got the drunken noodles, pad thai and the Panang curry, all medium spicy and each dish is spot on. I love that the noodle dishes are actually saucy and you can taste a nice difference between the two. The peanuts were perfect in the pad thai, adding a nice crunch, however I do wish there was a slice of lime but that's just my personal preference. The Panang curry was out of this world, probably one of the best I've had in a while. It came with a side of rice as well. Wow! It's been a while since I have really enjoyed Thai food. My favorite Thai restaurant closed about 10 years ago and I've have never been satisfied with any other Thai restaurant since. That has changed! We shared some veggie egg rolls which were delicious. My husband loved his Pad See Ew. I ordered orange chicken with no spice for my kiddos to share. Terrible Meal Experience Extremely disappointing. The Pad Thai noodles were burnt and tasted bitter, while the chicken was overcooked, dry, and tough. The sauce had an odd, overpowering vinegar flavor that made the dish inedible. Noodles were obviously pre cooked and completely mushy. Where has this place been all my life?! I decided to try this place on a whim seeing as how it's much closer than most Thai places I've been to. This will now be the ONLY place I go to for Thai food. You get so much more here for less than the "other" restaurants I order from and such better flavor too! They get the level of spice perfectly everytime on the chicken pad Thai and it's always so delicious. Tried them tonight at the recommendation from several people on Next Door. Had the coconut shrimp appetizer and Panang red curry chicken. Both of them were tasty and had quality ingredients. Portion size was also good. Being new to Thai cuisine, I asked many questions. The young girl upfront taking orders wasn't well versed in the menu and asked the owner to assist. When speaking to him he told me that the pictures on their website were stock photos, not their actual orders. For this reason I deducted a star, as I feel it was a little deceptive. My search for a good Pad Thai continues. The people at this place are super nice but this was maybe the worst Pad Thai I've ever had. It had both a weird flavor (a bunch of soy sauce?) and was bland at the same time. I ordered mine with chicken and it barely had any in it. The spice level wasn't even there. I took three bites and threw it out...had a frozen pizza for dinner :(. They also told me they don't have limes there. A Thai place with no limes? Weird. The Pad Thai was zero stars. I decided to try this amazing restaurant today after driving past it multiple times. The young man at the counter was very friendly and helped me decide what I wanted to order. I've had Thai food maybe two times before when I was still living in St. Louis. I ordered the Kung Pao w/chicken. I also ordered it hot because most of the time when you order things hot they aren't really hot. Word of caution, when Thai food says hot, it means hot lol! The food was fantastic!
