I don't know how there isn't a line out the door here! I wanted one of everything on the menu. The place feels so warm and welcoming and the food is healthy with lots of awesome options. The juices are 100% organic and the owner is so nice and happy and friendly and passionate about the food, juices, and teas. Stopped by Thania's for a light breakfast. The smoothie bowl and avocado toast were delicious. I loved the cafe de olla latte because it was not too sweet and had the cinnamon and spice flavors expected from a traditional cafe de olla coffee. The owner also sells her own blend of teas and I ended up buying the one with the butterfly pea flower and her special mix of chai tea. And I couldn't resist from buying one of her homemade syrups. It's acidic, watery, and flavorless. I threw it out and went somewhere different for coffee. I just moved to incline and was very excited to try this place. Walked in ready to get a fresh squeezed juice. I picked up the menu and it was three pages of food and smoothies but no juice. The juice menu was the last page. I asked for a green juice. The lady said it's right there in the cooler. We pre make them. Pre-make? If I want a pre-made juice I could go get one from Raley's refrigerator for a quarter of the price. And why would I tip $ if it's just a grab n go situation? My suggestion is make fresh juices and have the to go as an option for people in a rush. The to go should also be cheaper because it could be from the day before. I'm not paying 11$ plus tax and tip for a juice that could have been juiced yesterday that's sitting in a cooler. Juice bars should always make the customer fresh juices. Don't let the name fool you as this is not just a juice bar. There are other drinks such as coffee and smoothies, as well as food items. I am not a coffee drinker so I was pleased to find they had 3 unique, loose tea options, I was actually the first customer to try all their teas, as it is a new menu item and made in house. All the ingredients are listed on the menu, and if you have any questions about ingredients, Brenda and Christian are thoroughly knowledgeable and happy to answer. I was able to try the teas as prepared, but also with various sweeteners and both hot and cold. It was a fun experience to sample the new items and provide feedback. The juice bar is a small shop but has plenty of seating with tables in addition to a sitting bar in the window. While the kitchen is small, Christian explained the process of how they prepare items when someone has an allergy. I was impressed with the care they took in preparing my food as I have a gluten and soy allergy. During my two visits, i had a delicious gluten-free sandwich, quinoa salad, a spicy ceviche, hummus, and dragonfruit chia pudding. All the items were prepared in house and were super fresh. Several of the items come with Kirkland brand tortilla chips. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for great customer service, delicious beverages, and yummy food. The owner is Thania, and the two days that I visited the juice bar, the three people running it were her mother, brother and sister in law. I am not often in Incline Village, but will definitely stop in on my next visit. If you are looking for a friendly, local and family owned restaurant, then this is the place for you. We ordered the vegan burrito and veggie torta and we not disappointed! Both items would easily have served two people, so we ended up with extra for later. There are a lot of healthy choices from vegan to meat. I get the vegan burrito with extra jalapeños, and it is like eating a huge flavorful salad in a tortilla. I also really love the quinoa salad. I had pretty high hopes for this spot when I dropped by here to grab a smoothie. Unfortunately, they were not met. I ordered a berry mix smoothie that was so incredibly sour I couldn't even finish half of it. I ended up cannibalizing it by freezing it into ice cubes then adding it to another smoothie. There was no distinct flavor to the smoothie besides it just being straight up sour. I don't know if the berries went bad or weren't ripe, but I didn't even want to go back to ask for another one. Moral of the story, even if smoothies are prepared fresh, that doesn't necessarily mean that it will taste good if the ingredients aren't up to par. read more
