So my review is for the pho and shrimp summer rolls. 1. Pho. This has to be one of the worst pho I ever tasted. This is NOT from bone broth. It's made from pho powder. When the pho came out I could smell the pho powder taste because I made the same broth at home. They give you a big portion for people to come back. 2. Shrimp summer rolls The summer rolls is not that bad, but the peanut sauce is not it. I seems like it's store bought and water was added. 3. Cleanliness. I think that this is the same shop we visited years ago, but we are not sure. It is casual, seemingly family run, and can accommodate small groups. Service was friendly and helpful. Our orders were accurate, including special requests for vegan broth and no onions for me. The pho was not as good as I remembered (if it's the same business). I had the seafood pho with vegan broth. The noodles were a good texture. The broth had a bit of an off taste, but improved with chile paste, sriracha and hoisin sauce. It was mostly fish ball with two shrimps and some squid. My husband had beef pho, which he said was just not very flavorful. Prices are reasonable and portions are good sized. For a place with 900+ reviews. I expected decent pho. Ordered the beef pho and it was the worst pho ever. This is the after picture. I never had SO MUCH noodle in one bowl. The rice noodles tasted different comparing to Vietnamese restaurants so I just drank the soup and ate the meat. read more

Just tried this place tonight after my dance class and I was impressed. The customer service was great and they were efficient. I love the ratio of the add-ins they give they are not skimpy. It was also with the price so pretty reasonable. It was pretty packed for it to be 11pm so I know it was pretty solid. The only downfall is that valet parking. read more

Woke up feeling under the weather so I was very happy to find a tasty Pho spot open at 10am. Service was swift and sweet. Ordered a brisket pho + extra soup to go and my order was packed and ready to go in under 5 minutes for just under $20 before tip. They even packed all of the toppings and gave me extra for the side of soup I ordered. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too fatty I have frequent at a few places in this shopping center but somehow haven't been here yet. The meat and noodles were packed neatly and separate from the broth so it was a smooth drive home to assemble. The hostess was sweet and made sure u had plenty of toppings I needed to make the bowl exactly as desired. This is exactly what I needed to help me get over a cold. The portions are massive, I added an extra portion of chicken, and they were not cheap with it. I have enough leftover for a whole other meal! It comes with all the standard bean sprouts, lime, Jalapeno, sriracha, and oyster sauce, but the broth by itself is well flavored as well. I arrived at 10 p.m., and the place was still busy. While the servers were nice, they seemed rushed and overwhelmed as it was nearing closing time. I noticed that my table was missing a soup spoon, so I had to grab one from the next table. When I received the check, it didn't come with a pen to sign, which was a bit inconvenient. The portions are large, more than I could finish, but when it comes to taste, the pho was just okay. The broth was surprisingly pale, but it's still acceptable. Hands down! I'm super thankful for Thank U Pho because it is among my go-to pho restaurants for Korean-style Pho. For the past few months (especially during Fall and Winter), I've been ordering here for my K-Town style Pho fix. I tried their beef pho and chicken pho in the past and they have a decent flavor. Located at Oxford Center plaza, their restaurant is cozy and bright. In terms of service, I usually order to-go and is usually ready within 10-15 minutes upon ordering on the phone. On my latest visit, I tried their Vegetarian Pho with vegan broth. Their servings are pretty huge that I could only finish half, but at least I have some room for leftovers on my next meal. This Korean-style Vegetarian Pho has sliced cabbage, bok choy, broccoli, mushrooms and carrots. All the vegetables are fresh, crisp and not overcooked. Their noodles seem endless since I definitely need to use my chopsticks to stretch them out. I can't complain because they are firm and not soggy. The vegan broth itself is very earthy, therapeutic and flavorful that I could tell it is veggie-based. So far, Thank U Pho is my favorite place to get K-Town style Veggie Pho. I had to eat late today and I remember that this place open late. I was craving some hot soup while my boyfriend wanted something more solid. - short rib pho was good. It's not the best pho you can have out there but for late night standards, the price, and portion. This is good enough. 5/5 - chicken katsu was huge. The cutlet was thin, breaded and crispy. They include a little metal rack to dry the oil from the chicken. The curry rice that comes with it tastes fragrant and unique. I love it. 5/5 -beef potstickers were basic and nothing too special. They probably got them from frozen and not hand made. I think the Bibibop beef mandu from Costco are much better. Overall the service is quick and friendly. The lot is valet when we came at 9:30p on Wednesday and costs $2. If I ever crave pho late night I will definitely come back. read more

Id like to start by saying that I've been coming here for ten years but today I had a very uncomfortable experience at this restaurant. The service during my meal was not attentive, so I chose not to leave a tip. When I left, an employee actually chased me outside demanding a tip and told me I was not welcome back after I declined. She even suggested adding a tip to my card without my permission, which I had to remind her would be illegal. I took a photo of my signed receipt for proof in case of any unauthorized charges. A restaurant should never pressure or intimidate customers into tipping, especially when the service doesn't reflect it. Looks like a little simple mom & pop shop in the kore town area that serves a flavorful earthy multi layered broth base Pho with a good selection of meats, seafood and vegetables. The portion is definitely hefty and extremely satisfying. Started with the fried beef dumplings which were good and had no 11 combo of meats and seafood and also the short ribs bowl with added vegetables. I have to say that the short ribs were so tender and exceeded my expectations. Adding fresh basil, lime and bean sprouts make this such a hearty comforting meal. The beef brisket and beef balls are excellent and show some quality. The noodles are nicely prepared and fresh daily. They don't fall apart very easily which is always the battle. Unfortunately, their broth falls short of the flavor and fragrance a great Pho bowl should have. The service is excellent. This restaurant isn't big, so it is usually managed by a small staff. The pho broth was rather plain and lacked depth and flavor, with just okay noodles and rare steak. The two short ribs that came with the dish were big, but the meat was not braised long enough, making it really hard to remove from the bone. The Thai iced tea was also nothing special. The restaurant itself is basic and plain, typical for a pho place in a strip mall. I wont be back and wouldn't recommend this place. If you're in the mood for good pho, I suggest heading just 1 minute up Western to 7th Street and visiting Pho Gyu Vietnamese Noodle House, which offers significantly better food and dining experience. read more
