Had biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash. Food almost a 3. Service just shy of a 2 but staff very friendly but service not so bueno. Ordered coffee to start and it was hardly warm. Asked for refresh during to temp. Server said it was not warm because we added creamer. Advised that was not the case and pretty sure the server blew a fuse. He did not know what to do. After taking the coffee away and after watching server look for help he put mugs in microwave. 5 minutes later we had nuked hot coffee. Side items ordered with our meals came out mixed up on wrong plates. Toast forgotten and came out later. Pretty sure corned beef hash came out of a can. Hash browns were buttery which wasnt bad but different. Biscuits and gravy tasted cheesy. Again different. Would not order either dish again Corned beef hash and sausage not quite burnt but closer than it should be. Again staff very friendly but quality control needed. Next time in Prescott will check out somewhere else. Liked the Apple decor. Felt like this place is better than what we got. read more

This place is amazing and the servers are all super sweet. I went with my aunt who has autism and sometimes it's hard for her to get her words out and the server we had was very patient and sweet. She had long, dark hair that was braided and wore a red bandana! Whoever you are, lady, you rule and thank you for your kindness. The food was amazing, typical breakfast food but good sized portions and nice and hot. I was impressed! And for three people to eat it was only $40! We ordered a lot of extras too. Loved this little place. Looks to be more of a local place rather than a tourist place. Staff was very friendly. Told us the specials and took our drink order. I got the Beef BBQ sandwich, shaved beef with BBQ sauce on a toasted onion roll and coleslaw. Sandwich was hot and the coleslaw was cold. I liked the coleslaw, it was on the dry side and crunchy. My wife ordered a tuna sandwich and fries. A lot of tuna on the sandwich. Just after our waitress brought out our food they brought out more fries because they didn't think there was enough on the plate with her sandwich. Hard YES to this place. Their Apple Mary crepes are my favorite breakfast food in the world. I would give an arm and a leg for those crepes. The bacon that accompanies it is delicious and always cooked well. Hot chocolate is delicious. So are the Mark's potatoes. And the Egg's Benedict. And...well, most everything that I have tried here. The waiters and waitresses are all sweet and adorable, and they make you feel like you belong there. It is small, and can be a little noisy, but it feels like home. Go there. Our family went here based on reviews. We sat down and the waitress asked what we wanted to drink then took care of other customers. After 20min. (Literally 20 minutes!) she came back with my coffee and proceeded to tell us that she couldn't give us the other drinks yet because other customers came in before us, which we watched them walk in and sit AFTER us, at the table right next to ours. It's a tiny restaurant so clearly we we wouldn't have been mistaken watching who was coming in. She hadn't even taken our breakfast orders in 20 minutes. Really like the breakfast here, but was dismayed recently as we had to wait a half hour to get our breakfast. They were really good about greeting us and serving coffee (gal behind the counter's job), but then we had to wait a while for a waitress to take our order-then even longer to get our food. The restaurant was relatively busy, but had empty tables-so not super busy. Our waitress just didn't seem to be on top of things. I think this place is actually called "SueAnn's Apple Pan" and the one in Prescott Valley is the Apple Pan, Too! but either way, check it out. I worked here under the evil dragon lady, Marilyn, approximately 15 years ago, and I'm happy that my old pal Mark and his wife SueAnn bought the place about 5 years ago. I'd so rather give them my money for what is essentially the same excellent diner food. The servers are quintessential diner waitresses, literally flanking customers to refill their coffee and call them "hon." Every dish is served with an apple slice, and apples grace nearly every square inch of useable space. Stand-out dishes include omelets and pancakes, apple crisp and grilled cheese. We are visiting from Phoenix. We went here for lunch and ordered from the breakfast menu. The scrambled eggs were very ordinary and I could do as well at home. The creamed apples were good. I had ham which was very good. The service was slow and took awhile to get our food. The server was slow to refresh our drinks. It would probably be better for breakfast if I was very hungry. We ordered smaller items since we could not have any leftovers back to our hotel. read more

Have to admit, I'm a breakfast gigolo. I'll go to a place for a while, declare it my favorite, then look for something new down the road. There's a 12 Step Program for that, but after a while I left it for a 13 Step. That said, I really dig this little place in Prescott. A real family-run business. Excelent food, though sometimes if you time it wrong the wait can be lengthy. Small kitchen. Loved the spinach/shroom/cheese omelet I had last time, though 3 eggs is too many for me. I end up eating the ingredients and leaving a pile of egg. Kitty had the breakfast burrito which was a real winner. Most recent visit we saw some of the same customers from our last trip, giving it a homey feel. Neighbor at the next table recommended the bacon, and he was spot on. Cooked perfectly, thick slices, just wonderful. That same neighbor had the chicken fried steak, which I was going to ask about. After watching him devour every last bite of food and drop of gravy, I think he answered the question. It's no frills diner style food, but prepared with fresh ingredients and obviously with care. Nice atmosphere. The kind of place a guy could decide to settle down with and call his own. read more

Very tasty local spot for breakfast or lunch; especially if you want to try a specialty that includes apples! Visited on a recent trip to Prescott and walked from our downtown hotel for a light breakfast. My wife enjoyed the Apple Mary which is 3 apple filled crepes topped with whipped cream and cinnamon and a side of bacon (you can opt for ham or sausage as well), plenty for a "light " breakfast. The 4 large slices of bacon were done just as ordered: crispy, and there was enough whipped cream on top of the crepes to stir into our coffee (yum!). I had the Slightly Light Breakfast: 1/2 order of bacon (ham or sausage also available), one slice of toast (I opted for the home made biscuit which could've been a meal unto itself if I added a bit of gravy!!), 2 eggs (I had mine scrambled) and Mark's potatoes (you can get hash browns instead, but why?). Emphasis on the word "Slightly". Half the platter was covered with the Mark's potatoes which were very tasty but could have been a bit warmer. The 2 large slices of bacon were crispy (as ordered) and the eggs must have been the last item plated because they were good and hot. The biscuit came out warm on a separate plate and would've been acceptable for a dish that included gravy, but it was just ever so slightly undercooked (just a tiny bit doughy on the inside). It did come with a small dollop of butter in a ramikin which appeared oversized for such a wee serving, and two selections of jellies (in appropriately sized ramekins :) . Service was attentive but we had to catch our waitresses eye in order to get an initial water serving. Ordered coffee was brought right away and we neglected to request water at the same time. Will return and keep it in our regular rotation of enjoyable Prescott eateries. read more

This place was great! The food was absolutely amazing! I got the chicken fried steak and it was enough to fill you up for the day! Really get your money's worth. Only downsides were that it was small environment so there weren't many seats. The wait for our meal was 45 mins!! I think that's the longest I've ever waited. Me and my fiance went here for breakfast and everything was below par. I order one of their special omelettes with a homemade biscuit, and Tim had steak and scrambled eggs with Frank's potatoes. My omelette was fine, not particularly appealing though. His scrambled eggs were obviously not real, and tasted very off.... while the steak was rubbery and fatty. It wasn't really worth the $22 we paid. No plans to go back in the future. read more

We are regulars on Sundays after church, and we love SueAnn's Apple Pan. It's our "Cheers" place, where we're greeted like long-lost friends anytime we walk in the door. We're surprised by some of the comments about the servers (wait staff). That's not our experience as they are always friendly, attentive, kind, and observant with us. We feel we're treated like good friends every time we eat here. So, if you want casual, friendly, local, down-home, cookin' and service, you'll be happy here. Yes, you can't be in a hurry for your food because they cook it up fresh for every order, and that's what we like about SueAnn's. The chatter can get loud from the other customers, but again, that's what we like about this place! It's local, friendly, and a place where you feel welcome and can get some home-cooked breakfast. read more

Mediocre at best. The wait was twice any other place in town; 25+ minutes for breakfast after ordering. Food was....bleh. Not awful, but nothing that at least six other places in town can't make better, for cheaper and in a more expidited manner. As we were waiting...and waiting some more for our meal, I happened to look back in the kitchen and saw a gal microwaving a bunch or premade biscuits. Its not hard to make a tray of biscuits and serve them fresh and hot. Consequently, my biscuit was chewy and hard on the corners and the gravy tasted like horse glue, probably canned. Ambiance-wise, it must be the acoustics of the building or that the normal patrons see it necessary to yell during normal conversation, because it is very loud. Also, they need to ditch the bell that rattles every time the door is opened. It needs to go.... Aside from the lackluster experience, the people were nice and my girlfriend says the coffee was good. She also liked her breakfast burrito alright, although it looked like it had been folded by a toddler. Overpriced, shockingly mediocre to bad food, long wait; a poor comparison to local contemoraries. read more
