Cute, old school little diner with great traditional breakfast and hefty portions! Sit at the counter and people watch (like I did) or bring your group and get cozy at a table. The shop is small, but buzzing with people enjoying delicious offerings. The staff was equally wonderful. Everyone was friendly and seemed to share duties as various folks checked in on me and helped me out throughout the meal. I had the Apple Pancake, because it just seemed like the thing to do given the name, but next time id like to try the French toast, which also was highly recommended. Recently visited Prescott with my cousins and their 2 families, (there were 9 of us in total, 5 adults, 4 kids). We were looking for a family friend place and this place was ideal. We did have to wait a bit, but it was to be expected considering the size of our party, but the staff were accommodating and allowed us to split the bill 3 ways. They have neat wall decor which makes for an ideal rustic diner. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and coleslaw. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Coleslaw was good, not great. A little dry. Otherwise, cool little diner in Prescott. Worthy of a visit if you're passing through or there for a few days.

This was a solidly just okay breakfast spot, and pretty expensive for the quality. I was not happy about a $4 avocado add on that I wasn't warned about. There were probably $15 worth of additional charges for the table- things like $2 for a slice of cheese. The service was very slow, and it looked like they had the poor girl serving the whole restaurant alone. The food was okay- nothing special and nothing I couldn't make better at home. At least the interior was cute.

First time here the day after Thanksgiving. Charming little breakfast/lunch place down the street from Prescott courthouse. Was seated right away for a party of six. Service was on point. Loved the Apple crepes. Will definitely be back!

The decor was cute. Very slow service. To be fair a large group came in before us but two girls were working hard while the other girl was literally sitting at the counter drinking coffee while we were waiting for some for a long time. Maybe it's not her job to help customers because I saw her cleaning tables when people left. The food was good I really liked the apple crepes. The corned beef hash has plenty of meat. Good flavor on seasoned potatoes. As you can see from my others reviews I am always looking to point out the positive but this place needs some help with the service working as a team. If they had some more help and team focus I think this could be a great place.

This is a cute little café, very nostalgic. The food is good. We got breakfast. The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium as we ask. The bacon was extra crispy as we asked, and the potatoes were delicious. The staff is excellent and I would highly recommend this place. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the food because we ate every bit of it.

Wow. Not sure where everyone was eating who rated this place highly, but we stopped there this AM and ordered food at 9am, with empty tables in the place - so not particularly busy. We were still waiting for food to arrive at 10am, to sit eas burned, as were the potatoes with my omelette. God knows what was in the Banana / Choc Chip stuffed French Toast, but it certainly wasn't banana - or edible for that matter! Sad experience on our daughters 8th birthday. Certainly will not revisit this place! read more

We are from Phoenix, and decided to stop by for breakfast. Aside from the kind and attentive customer service, the food was delicious as well. They truly have a homemade taste to their food. Authentic country gravy and freshly made biscuits are hard to come by, but that is exactly what the apple pan has. Their coffee is fresh and the food came out hot. I will definitely consider coming back. We were super full from breakfast, if not we would've definitely tried their apple pie. read more

The restaurant is a casual affair, with good solid tasty dishes and sides yummy enough to quickly become your favorites. I had the 'mile high sandwich' and onion rings, both absolutely fantastic. Apple-tastic in fact! What really disappointed me was the lack of service and attention to details. My soup arrived ice cold -- something I realized only after I ate a spoonful. Ewww. Secondly our waitress was mostly absent, and she when did actually attended us, she was mostly absently minded. Sides, refills, empty plates, extra napkins and our check were all forgotten in the course of things. Some things twice. So, while the food was everything it was touted to be (so good!) the service was dismal and the details need minding. Did I mention the dirty cup? Yep. Not sure if I'll go back, though the food will probably persuade me! read more

Prescott is a wonderful town! I stayed for the weekend and came to SueAnn's for breakfast. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and fast. Lots of "apple related" options on the menu. Would definitely recommend. read more

Cute apple theme, and great service by Nova (possibly manager), but not worth the long wait. Appreciate staff observing social distancing and wearing masks. Important to support local, but quality not good-small portions, and bland. Guests at next table left their food mostly untouched-burnt sausage. Pretty good for a breakfast place. Fast, reasonably priced and our service was good. Definitely worth going back to. I had the chicken fried steak. It wasn't the best one I've ever had, but it was pretty good. If you're looking for a good local breakfast joint this place fits the bill. read more

This place was absolutely packed on a Saturday morning, but the staff was friendly, communicative, and smiling the whole time. The lemon ricotta waffles were to die for, and the biscuits and gravy breakfast was prepared perfectly. Prescott is our favorite getaway spot, and we will definitely keep coming back here to try to the rest of the menu! read more

Been here 3 times and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The daily specials are a real deal because they include coffee. Biscuits and gravy with a nice piece of ham is one of my favorites along with the french toast. read more

As first time visitors to Prescott (from California) on 1/03/20, I want to give an honest review. We are a bi-racial family of 3 adults and a 9 year old. Ordered three adult meals and a kids meal, server and owner told me I could not eat my daughter's kids meal and she could not eat the adult meal. Server pointed at me and said you order your meal, you eat your meal then pointed at the 9 year old and said she orders her meal, she eats her meal. Asked to speak with the owner, Angela and she was just as rude as the server. Decided we weren't welcomed paid for our drinks and left after speaking with owner. Angela. As I couldn't believe how my family was being treated by the owner, we forgot to get our change. Co-owner Mark told me it was because we walked out...guess they couldn't walk out and say "hey you forgot your change". They've basically said that my family was the issue, but their mistreatment of our family. Co-owner Mark likes to say a kids meal is a kids meal, well duh, we had a 9 year old, what gives the owner the right to dictate who eats what meal. Reviews are mostly friends, family and servers, visitor reviews not so hot. Since co-owner Mark says it wasn't about the money, then it must have been that my bi-racial family wasn't welcomed in their establishment for another reason. DO yourself a favor and go for better service in 'town'. read more

Came in for brunch on a Sunday. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and the wife had homemade corned beef hash. The food took a while, but good food should. The staff was attentive and the meal was tasty. It's AZ, a few more hot sauce options would be groovy. We'll be back for sure. My wife and I went here based on reviews I read on Yelp! I have no idea where this person ate at, but nothing on the menu was $5.99! My wife and I went to the restaurant on a Sunday at 7AM and we had a horrible experience. However, before I wrote anything negative about the restaurant I sent them an email and told them about my experience and after 4 weeks no response, so here it goes. I ordered Biscuit & gravy, and it had ham in the gravy, not sausage! I have never had ham in B&G before and I will never again. My wife ordered the French toast she said it was cold and not good and the coffee was very weak, like brown colored water! I feel really bad to say the truth about SueAnn's Apple Pan Restaurant, but when the owners don't care why should we? Forgot the breakfast was $24.00 even, I did leave a $5.00 tip for the waitress (it's not her fault the food was bad) and she was by herself, with the place full, that's an ownership greed issue. This is the second time I have eaten at SueAnn's Apple Pan Restaurant having the same results. Go and try it yourself, however trust me there are better places to eat in Prescott. read more

Excellent service and excellent food! Husband and I were driving in historic Prescott and stumbled upon this cute little restaurant. We had the Apple Pie Pancake special. The pancakes were loaded with cut up apples and topped with an apple compote which served extremely hot. Best pancakes ever. Nova and Sara were servers and were super attentive to all of the folks! I highly recommend this cute restaurant!! read more

This warm, friendly diner is among the BEST places in the downtown Prescott area. I've only had the pleasure of eating breakfast here twice as I live an hour away but both times have been excellent. Service was friendly and prompt and food was delicious! I usually have my dog with me so I sat at one of the outside tables and everyone there is OK with that. This is our favorite breakfast spot. Great food with excellent service. The waitresses and bacon are outstanding. We get their special plates. so that we won't eat too much. Number 6 for me, number 3 for my wife. Lot of good places in Prescott for breakfast, this is the one we like the best. read more

Had been to Sue Ann's several times , and was excited to take a friend and her 90 year old mother. Maybe they just had an off day. Did not refill coffee, waited 45 minutes for food, the food server took our order and when prompted after another long wait brought us the check, otherwise ignored us. My crepes ( a house specialty) were horrible and tasted and appeared like they had sat waiting. The scramble, another house special, was mostly potatoes and would have benefitted from salsa, but none was available. Would not recommend this establishment again. read more

My family stopped by today for the first time for breakfast. The waitress was great! This is a great place to eat but the food came out a little slower than probably normal. The waitress took $3 off the bill which was nice. We will come again and just know that we can't be in a hurry. It seems like a slower pace would help a person relax just a little. read more

This place is awesome not just because they open at 6am. They have a great early bird breakfast with 6 different options each included coffee or tea for only $6.49. The biscuits are fresh, moist and delicious, the gravy has an excellent flavor with chunks of sausage and bacon. Kathryn is always attentive. read more

The food is made to order come in and enjoy the company along with a home style meal. We strive to provide quick service but we are far from fast food.

History

Established in 1983.

The location of the restaurant was originally a donut shop. It eventually became The Apple Pan Too and was owned and operated under Maryanne for 10yrs. It was sold and became Susann's Apple Pan owner and operator for 15yrs. Changes are in progress and now Angela and Mark are the new owners while Angela is sole day to day operator.

Veteran and family owned and operated restaurant. We purchased in August of 2018. We are excited to provide the quad cities with fresh food made to order.

Parking is the worst and I would definitely avoid going here in the future although the food was great (no complaints) the restaurant could occupy quite a few people and it has a very small parking lot. There isn't anywhere else to park outside of in front of the restaurant as the businesses around the restaurant state no parking + the business in the back won't even allow you to turn around.

We were excited to try this place but sadly it seems like we came on a bad day. I will say that the hostess was super bubbly and nice we loved how welcoming she was. They have a small parking lot along with plenty of street parking if that is full. The restaurant has a covered outdoor patio for dining along with a full bar room separate from the inside seating areas. I ordered the bourbon glazed pecan salmon entree for $34. The meal came with a choice of two side dishes. I went with a side salad and the baked potato. Kat, my waitress, asked if I wanted it loaded with sour cream, butter, bacon, cheese and chives. I asked her if there was an extra charge for those toppings and she said no and that it came that way if I desired it. I accepted it except for the chives. First to arrive was the side salad and it was delicious. It was a quality start to the meal. Then the entree appeared and it was a beautiful plate. The salmon was pan seared with a bourbon glaze on top with candied pecans. It also had several raviolis next to the salmon with spinach and some creole mustard sauce. Flavor, flavor, flavor! That glaze and pecans mixed so well with the salmon and raviolis. Mouth watering for sure. The baked potato had two large scoops of butter and sour cream on top with cheese and was oh so good tasting. It was a quality meal for sure. 5 stars! As I was eating the potato I noticed there was no bacon pieces in it. Figuring that someone forgot to add it, I looked for my waitress and she was no where to be found. Her service was very slow. By the time she arrived I had finished the meal. I mentioned to her that the bacon was missing but it was too late since I had finished the meal. Minus 1 star. When she presented the bill at my table I paid the bill with full tip and took the receipt and left. Just outside the door I noticed on the receipt that I had been charged .75 cents each for the bacon and cheese! Minus another star. So I went back in and talked to the lady manager. She said that my waitress wasn't aware of those topping charges and it was her fault. I told her that I understood that those things can happen but had a problem with being charged for the bacon and never receiving it. She said that she would refund me the cost for the bacon and cheese and would adjust my credit card for the $1.50. I saw her do it on their portable credit card machine. She assured me that it would be done. That was last Thursday and this is Tuesday and no credit has shown in my statement. Minus another star. Very good food, very poor staff and management.

One of our party ordered a burger and it was a good medium cook and season just right. The breakfast dishes came with skillet potatoes which were the most perfect breakfast potatoes we have had. The seasoning and rosemary were perfectly balanced. Portions were generous and made tasty leftovers for later. Keep up the great work!

Sue Anne's Apple Pan? More like Sue Anne's Amazing Mouth Explosion! The biskits were as light and fluffy as clouds from heaven, and the homemade salsa really ups the ante on picante! The apple stuffed french toast? Woo boy. Woo. I am still recovering. That should be on the regular menu so that I can eat it every day. I would totally trade my health and well-being for a daily serving of Sue Ann's stuffed apple french toast. The waitress was all, do you want butter and sugar on that? And I was all, DUH!! And then it was amazing and I died. Literally. This is a yelp review from beyond the grave. The Ommelette was also so so so good, and you should def ask for avocado with it. Run, don't walk. Great place to eat but after a recent experience with the owners daughter boyfriend calling me and my friends racist I'll never go back and neither will they. Very underwhelming. Half empty dining room and still had to wait 44 minutes for breakfast. Eggs supposed to be over medium, but they had runny whites. Hairs all over the creamers and sugar. Burnt hasbrowns. Discusting margarine slathered over toast. Don't go here. Too many other good breakfast places in town to waste your money here. read more
