I decided to try the place for the first time. Got my order pretty quick and got home to realize it was not correct. I returned to the restaurant to get my order and was greeted with an angry worker who stated I took the wrong order after she said she told me twice when she handed me the food. I was taken back by her anger and then she gave me the correct order. I told her how rude she was as I was a paying customer and her attitude was unacceptable. Given this I won't be back. Finally got around to trying this place out and it was great. The menu has all the regular favorites, burritos, tacos, combination plates, and breakfast. I got a combination plate, two shredded beef tacos with rice and beans. The portions are generous (for me at least). It was more than enough for my wife and I to share. The got a fish taco as well. Now, for the tip/gratuity sensitive, when you pay for your meal you'll be asked to consider a gratuity, don't skip this part. Once you pay and select a seat, they staff will bring you some complimentary chips along with silverware, napkins, and your order when it's ready. They will also check in with you to see if you need anything else. They only thing you have to get it is your soda and salsa. And when you're done they will bus the table. So please don't skip the gratuity, the staff is great and deserve it. The ambiance is great and they have a patio, I'm looking forward to enjoying. My only wish... BEER. If they served beer, I'd never go anywhere else lol. read more

DELICIOUS FOOD !!! The burritos are HUGE and full of carne . The taco was a little on the pricy side but understood why when it came out . Tacos are huge, double tortilla and a ton of meat. We got it plain for my daughter. Also got a " el bombero" burrito it came with shrimp, meat and fries with a chipotle sauce. 10000% would order again. The California burrito fries were not soggy. Everything was freshly made. Service was quick and the cashier was very friendly , they also give you chips while you wait. Good music playing in the restaurant. Great view from the dining area. Prices were reasonable. I ordered chicken enchiladas but had to search for the chicken. Salsas didn't look appealing. The 2 I tried weren't anything special and the chips are store bought! I might give them another try and order something different. read more

Food here is amazing! Service is great here! The lady at the cash register comes by and brings us the food and see how we're doing. And eating inside is such nice welcoming environment. Seeing people sit together having a good time over with amazing Mexican food. A place where friends, family, coworkers, dates get to enjoy at. Only downside is not open 24 hours cause the food is great! Carne asada fries on point! Fish tacos the best I've had in such a long time. It's been years I haven't found a good fish taco place till I went here. Potato tacos have right softness on the potato. The salsa bar is well kept and provides a good variety. They play festive music and a good volume. The service starts with your placing the order at the register, then levels up as they bring the food to your table and level up again by bussing your table as you depart. I was really excited to try this place out, since it had great reviews. Looking at the menu I was really surprised to see they had mojaras one of my favorites ( deep fried fish). Very clean, easy to order, and staff is very friendly so they have that going for them. I ordered 5 adobada tacos, 2 carne asada tacos, and two mojara plates totaling to $65 and some change. Boy what a disappointment the fish was too fried to the point where I couldn't eat it, it was beautifully plated with sliced avocado, raw onions, and tomato which it definitely not how I'm used to receiving it and no lemon!!! The rice was good, the adobada tacos were well seasoned but tasted like a gyro with a tortilla and carne asada was disappointing as well. This is my reminder that yelp reviews are always a hit or miss. read more

I don't know if this resturant is associated with another of the same name in Escondido. I didn't take photos when I ate there. I'd read some reviews on Facebook & they were positive. Service was good, smiling faces, ammenable, pretty fast. Resturant was clean with adequate seating. Parking is adquate. Pricing is on target. There was more than enough food. I couldn't eat it all. Food was a real mixed bag. I ordered a combination plate of chile relleno with cheese enchilada & rice & beans. The beans were the best thing on the plate. The texture was perfect. They were just a little too salty. Overall, they're the best beans I've had in a long time. The rice was absolutely tasteless. The enchildada was just "ok". The tortilla they used was not one of those skimpy things, it was thicker & more taste. There was enough cheese to satisfy. The red sauce was kind of peppery, not hot. The chile relleno tasted like had been pre-cooked & warmed up, kind of mushy. Plenty of cheese. I think it would probably have been pretty good if it had been made on the spot. I may have taken too long. The coating looked like it had been perfect or better when originally made. I could be wrong about that, but that's what it tasted like. The chips were stale & the salsa (rojo y verde) were not great. The green salsa was better than the red. The sauce used on the enchildada & relleno was just so-so. I think the place has potential, but they need to tweak things a little. This is a new place in Hemet & we can always use new places. We have an over abundance of Mexican resturants & precious few are spectacular. This place falls in the range of so-so. It's not fabulous & it's not terrible. It's somewhere in the middle. I"ve eaten at most of the Mexican resturants in town & most much fall in the middle -on a scale of 1 to 5, they range from 1 to 4. This place is terrible. It's weird that there are so many positive reviews. Their carne asada taco was a bit rubbery and lacked flavor. In fact, everything we bought was bland and underwhelming. Huge disappointment. So far, the best option for Mexican food in Hemet is that El Patron restaurant (which is also hit and miss at times). read more
