So happy that this place exists! As a vegan it's not always easy to find good options at non vegan restaurants but they have an entire vegan menu here! I have tried the vegan chicken roll and vegan buffalo chicken roll and both were excellent. They use housemade seitan that is extremely delicious and so close to tasting like chicken it may even fool some carnivores! The restaurant plans to expand their vegan offerings so stay tuned for an even bigger vegan menu here in the future! They charge the same price for vegan or non vegan options of the same item which I really appreciate. They are open late on the weekends and the staff is really friendly. I absolutely love "this pizza place". I am a vegan and can honestly say this is the best vegan pizza place on the island - and I've tried pretty much every place I can get my hands on. Ive been here with nonvegans/meat and dairy eaters and they love this place too. The people who work there are the nicest ever. 10/10 would recommend . Just as an added tip for my fellow hungry vegans - some options include vegan heros, rolls, and slices with pretty much any topping including some vegan meats. The eggplant roll is my favorite! Finally a vegan pizza place on Long Island!!! Nothing bad to say. I wish they'd open a second location closer to eastern queens but it's ok for now - still closer than trekking to Manhattan or Brooklyn. They have more (and authentic) options anyway. As a vegan I can proudly say this is seriously the best vegan pizza place ever. They don't just make pizza, but special pizza!!! We ordered a vegan grandma pie, vegan Buffalo slice and french fries. The grandma pie was delicious, cooked perfectly. The Buffalo slice could be great but it was definitely lacking "chicken" and it tasted like it was sitting there all day. The crust was extremely hard and over done. If they just fix those two things I really think it would of been outstanding. The French fries were way too oily they were soggy. We ended up having to heat then up more and they just could not be saved. You would think at of all things french fries really shouldn't be that hard to cook. read more

Amazing place for pizza. Great buffalo cauliflower, wish they had slices with it available everyday or even just as an appetizer. They are super vegetarian and vegan friendly and have amazing ranch sauce (vegan). They are creative and offer more than just the standard seitan toppings as meat substitutes. The vegan food there is incredible, best in the area for sure, the only problem was the service. I e been there a couple of times now and every time I've been there they messed up my order somehow, whether it was being overcharged or having my order made not vegan. To make it worse the employees stare at you and make you feel like it's your fault. I'm going to start this off by saying that I'm not vegan.. or a fan of vegan food, for that matter. My friend is vegan and when she makes the trip out this way she always want to order from this spot, so I oblige- and admittedly, I have tried the vegan pizza a couple of times, and it's actually very good. At 130PM EST I had arrived at That Pizza Place located in Levittown, NY off of Wantagh Ave. I opened the door and spotted only two slices left of the Tomato, basil and garlic plant based slice I knew I had to have it from that moment on. Driving back to my office i could not wait to dig into these slices... As I walk into my office, sit down open the brown bag containing my goodies as I take my first bite I see a long piece of hair. I went here because of all the reviews, Me and 4 others got food posioning, I got it from a cheese slice, doctor said it was from cross contamination. They were sweating all over the pizza with no gloves or rags. Very disgusting. Rude about the whole situation. Very upsetting that this place is still up and running. read more

This is the first time I've ever had vegan pizza and let me just say...I was not disappointed. I had a slice of the vegan cheese pizza and it was just delicious. I haven't had pizza in years because I'm lactose intolerant and nothing came quite close to the cut, but this pizza was just the best! This is the best pizza hands down for anyone who has food allergies or not. They make the most amazing pizza that has never been made anywhere else. If you go the cauliflower pizza is outrageous. It is more then one slice French fries, garlic Knots and Mac and cheese just to name a couple of things on there. The vegan Mac and cheese is nothing but the best. I want to write another review just cause I love this place so much. The vegan wings are by far the best I've ever had. Most vegan wings are tough and lacks a chicken constancy. These are more soft and the sauce is the bomb. They also come on a fake stick to resemble a chicken bone. I am so grateful for this place cause Long Island really lacks good vegan food. From the very moment this place opened, I've been a fan. I grew up in the area, but I live in Brooklyn now, so you better believe whenever I'm at my mom's house we get a vegan pie delivered, or stop in if we are running errands. The pizza crust is so good here. I can only speak to the vegan options, and it seems they are ever-expanding and inventive. Nice break from 3 Brothers menu. I love the Mac & cheese pie, and the classic vegan slice of course. The vegan Wings are a little too chewy, which means the seitan is over-worked. I go to 3 brothers when I want some vegan wings. However the last two times I've come into the place to eat, some of the employees have been rude to the extreme. I am only speaking of two male employees. The last straw for me was last night, when I witnessed from across the restaurant this guy who looks like he just rolled off a meatball sub being disrespectful, dismissive, and unprofessional when my girlfriend asked for 2 small boxes to take our stuff to go. He asked what we needed them for. She stated to take our leftovers home. He then replied I know, but what are they? She told him what we had. He asked why two? She said some were vegan, some weren't. He then slammed two paper bags and paper plates on the counter. He seemed very agitated during this spontaneous interrogation. I think this behavior is beyond ridiculous. Since we were going back to Brooklyn with the leftovers and carrying them up several flights of stairs along with other crap we had with us, I went and asked what his problem was. Why was he so rude to my girlfriend? He said it's not his job, he takes people's orders. I was then given two small boxes by a female employee with a smile. I should mention that nobody was on line to order. There was no action in the place whatsoever, excepting his hyperactive ego, and we were the only table, aside from another large table with several other employees and possibly their friends. But if it's really not his job to field customer requests for to-go boxes, he could have either: A. Referred her to one of the 3 other employees hanging back behind the counter, or; B. Used the time that it takes to question a customer's off the wall reasoning for needing pizza boxes in a pizza place to instead simply hold up two different size boxes and ask, "which works?" Because of this treatment -- homophobic or not-- I won't come back here. Why would I? Three brothers is sooooo close by, and they have a bathroom for customers too! Also, never had an experience there like this one! And they have awesome dessert. Get that meatless meatball outta here, and maybe I'll come back. But probably not. read more

They have so many different varieties of vegan food that I can try something new every time I go. The Jack Daniels pizza is the best!
