So I haven't visited this place at least before Covid and today I happen to stop by for a quick slice of plain cheese. This was the worst slice I have had in a very long time. Absolutely no flavor and everything about it was not good, the ingredients did not seem fresh at all. I do realize everyone is still struggling and trying to stay afloat but it was really bad. I believe it s still the original owner that I saw behind the register and it was obvious that he is going through some rough times. I've been to La Foccacia a few times. Mostly to pop by for Karaoke with Curtis! The food I've had there is good! I love the pasta I got last time with mozzarella cheese and spinach. It was rigatoni. I basically copied my boyfriend's request except his had chicken in it. I've also sampled the pizza here as well. To drink I've only had seltzer or water because I don't drink alcohol. For some reason Monday nights here with Curtis seem way more hoppin' than Thursday nights. He gets the crowd jumpin! read more

As a karaoke aficionado, this place has always been on my radar. It is a mile from my home and they have always offered live singing for years. But tonight I grabbed a dinner at the bar while I waited to sing. And let me tell you, the food is excellent too. The Caesar salad is particularly tasty, and I added a rigatoni bolognese on this pasta night (what a wonderful deal). I decided to give this place a try since it's close to my job so I did. The first time I went, I got a penne alla vodka slice (that was a year ago) and it was decent. I decided to go back and get myself a chicken roll. When I asked for it, the guy picked it up with his bare hands! He didn't wear any gloves while handling the food!!! So disgusting. Went there the other night, girl friend had Manicotti-terrible! Pasta was tough-had to cut through it with a knife. Filling looked like wet saw dust and it was dry with no taste. Girl friend offered some to me and I agreed how lousy it was. Looked like they bought it frozen from a super market and it was way past its experation date. Currently they include American combat veterans who have served this great nation during WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and others. For many years we held our annual holiday celebration in different venue. This year that venue was closed so we had to find another. By search and word of mouth we found La Focaccia in Levittown. They offered us a good deal, so we booked with them and are we so very glad we did! We had our holiday celebration a few days ago and we were blown away by the service the owner/host, The owner/host, Sal Panetta, and his staff gave us, making La Focaccia the most vet friendly restaurant we've ever encountered! Not only was there. No limit on food and beverage, but the wait staff went above and beyond to be agreeable and helpful. Sal demonstrated he is totally dedicated to veterans, not only by his treatment of us but in general. Even after we agreed to terms, he gave us charged for fewer members than attended, donating the value of those meals back to our post. If there was an Academy Award for Vet Friendly Venue, Sal Panetta would, no doubt, receive that!! We cannot find the words to properly thank him and his staff for their treatment of our brother and sister veterans. We want all to know of this gratitude and of our highest recommendation for La Focaccia! read more

Went to see a wonderful band play and for the price we expected at least decent food. The antipasto salad was small and the fried calamari was soggy. Then came our main meal. I had Eggplant Parmigiana, which is traditionally made with ricotta. This had none. My husband had a chicken dish that was dry and tiny in portion. Went there for dinner with my girl friend and to see my friends perform. I was there one other time and had a issue with the "BUS BOY" THEY CALL A WAITER. So, we order with our table of 8. First of all, the dinners come out in dribs and drabs. Some had to begin eating before others so as not to let their dinner get cold. My girl friend ordered Chilian sea bass. $29.99. That is fine. When her dinned came out, it was HALF the size of what it should have been. The fish looked broken and it appeared that the other part was to make another dinner. The veggies were of a poor portion also. If that isn't enough, I paid with cash. The so called waited NEVER RETURNED MY CHANGE. A tip is optional. Of course, all leave one but it is not proper not to return change to a client. I think you get the picture. I will NEVER, NEVER return here and either should anyone. This is the worst place I have ever eaten in. The waiters are unfriendly and you get the feeling that you bother them if you request something. I eat out often but NEVER again at this place. Very poor service. He was rude and even though we were a large party, he rushed us to order and stressed us out. The calamari was undercooked and lacked salt. The chicken piccata was old and the sauce had no flavor. My brother had the chicken focaccia and the ham was old and tasted bad. I'm so upset right now. We ordered 2 slices of the spinach and artichoke pizza. It was specifically said we want just vegetables. It was confirmed it was only vegetables. I ate half a slice. I spit it out. There was bacon in there. I'm absolutely disgusted. I'm a vegetarian and it is against my religion. My bff and I love to find places where we can enjoy a pleasant meal and have room to play or Scrabble. If you eat in the pizzeria area of La Focaccia as we often have done, you can socialize. My former Kiwanis club used to meet there on Thursday nights where the food was tasty, the service prompt and personable and the entertainment on special nights highly enjoyable. My family has been coming here for years, Sal the owner is a nice guy however the business itself is lacking. The worst part of the business is the older gentleman behind the counter, he's been there for years, the one who makes the pizzas and takes your order. Every time I come in for an order I am not even greeted with a "hello" or "how are you" , not even a "what can I get you?" He just looks at you and stares or nods his head. Then when he rings you up and hands you the food, not even a "thank you" or "have a good day" just hands you your card back and walks away. This place is a staple in the west village green community. I can still remember the old pizza place with the fruit punch fountain soda. It hurts me to do so but take note I judge mostly on the pizza. The restaurant is beautiful and as far as I can remember the food was great. But over the years the pizza has gone down in quality. The sauce is very thin and watery the cheese is good but the crust varies. I also feel I should reveal the fact that they have once delivered me a re-heated pizza pie. I've worked as a delivery boy once and I eat pizza at least once or twice or four times a week. I know for sure you never deliver a re-heated pie that's a huge no no!
