This review is purely reflective of the SERVICE I RECEIVED. Due to my mistake: Unfortunately, I ordered from the LUNCH menu which doesn't detail any ingredients to each entrée. Upon arrival at least 7 minutes after placing order, I entered and asked that they put wonton strips on the side. The gentleman helping me points at the rolled up paper bag on the counter and says the order is already ready. Following that I grabbed the bag to inspect my salad at first sight I was immediately surprised to see so many rice noodles all over the top of the salad. I hadn't remembered that this is an ingredient included. I never get this ingredient. The gentleman helping me responds to my disgust by saying "well you read the menu before ordering." While holding a very different & more detailed & descriptive menu :/ excuse me,?! that wasn't needed and only made a displeasing exchange worse because I had not ordered from the detailed menu. This is why it's hard to give my hard earned money to this business. My employer used to buy at least three pizzas every two weeks. If not more. NOW: I will not suggest again. The third time I noticed that they put sauce, a whole layer of spinach, then cheese and the rest of my toppings which resulted in brown, soggy, wilted spinach, and toppings sliding off. Food- the pizza was slightly cooked just a little too long literally by a couple minutes, photos of you look closely the crust is overdone but it was still chewy and soft on the inside of the crust after the crunch. Since I was the last customer right before closing, no reduction of points. I ordered Brooklyn pizza and antipasto salad. It's in a random strip mall -- looks can be deceiving. Grabbed a grilled rosemary chicken sandwich -- it was so good. The sandwich was fresh. There was rosemary marinated grilled chicken, arugula, fontina cheese, avocado, and tomato with pesto spread on toasted ciabatta bread. I can't even describe to you how perfect this bite was. Very tasty pizza. We ordered the barbeque chicken and the portobello mushrooms with sun dried tomatoes. I also got the Mediterranean salad with chicken and my kids got the fettuccine Alfredo and the spaghetti with Turkey meatballs. It is a lot of food and we could not finish it. I'm marking off one star because they forgot our fried zucchini and they didnt answer the phone when I tried to call and let them know. I was a little skeptical when I looked at the coupons and saw that a large pizza and appetizer were only $27 when normally a large pizza is $36. What a deal! I also saw something that was buy one pizza get one free? How can that be?? Too good to be true, right? I'd rate this pizza one level above pizza places like dominos. It was average: good but nothing to go out of your way for. We got the works without mushrooms and it was good. The zucchini fries were 10/10 though! Perfectly crispy and delicious! Also, just a heads up, this place has a B health rating. That doesn't automatically deter me tho since I grew up eating at local chinese restaurants that didn't always have an A rating. Cannot fathom how in the world this place has 3.8 stars This is an absolute masterclass on how to not run a business. Filthy all over, there's black scum all over the floors, the walls, and the machinery... The sign in the complex says one thing, their overhead says another, and their bags are from Big Mama and Papa's. The containers they hold the ingredients in look like they've been reused since the 1800's. They have a gimmicky "buy one get one free offer" that's obviously the same as just buying two pizzas. Love this place. We visit at least few times a week because it's so affordable (almost same price as Mcdonalds for 2 ) and food is very high quality . I tried almost everything on the menu and whatever you choose you won't be disappointed because these guys kill it everytime !!! Pasta, salads, burgers they do it all equally amazing. When you select two stars it says "Could've been better" and I agree from their ambiguous and misleading pricing to how they articulate quality it all feels a bit misleading. I gave this pizza place a chance after reading countless bad reviews and I'd have to say I was amused to encounter almost every Piece of feedback and critique was comically accurate. Updating ma review from 5 stars to 1 star. The manager doesn't come to the store anymore . The cashier is rude and charging you anytime different price . Even if you stay in the Restaurant you could heard other customers complain about the prices and the cashier telling each ones different reasons the prices are not clear in menu , it's my second times i feel somethings wrong here . Call and put the order just a sandwich and the cashier tell me 10/15 minutes, I'm heading to pick up ma order and waiting around 30 minutes it's so funny when i arrived no customer was in the restaurant at the moment . Made a point to stick to business (no small talk and waited mainly outside) but made sure to tip the tip jar. Hopefully the pizza maker gets the tip. Poor guy has to work there. I have to say, the pizza was pretty good! Good crust and decent cheese. Real bacon and as mentioned, real mushrooms. Served hot. Made fresh. There are a few tables inside but I would never eat in here. The prepped food in the display window looked pretty sad and older. Ordered today thinking this business was still located in Westwood, not the case as of a year ago. We were redirected to their new location on Pico. They are now operating alongside Cicceros Pizza. One location, two menus. I called in to order 1 large pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage pizza and was surprised when they said, you get one pizza free so for the 2nd pizza I got only pepperoni . The total was $32. Not really a "deal" however my family loved it. I personally loved the big chunks of mushrooms and sausage. I have already written a review for "That Pizza Place". This is just a quick update that they do have healthier options in addition to their pizzas and pastas. I like to get their Salmon Plate. It's a good size portion of salmon and they shower vegetables on it (mostly potatoes and beets). It's seasoned pretty well and the salmon is moist. I also like to get the Steak and Zucchini Sandwich. The sandwich comes with a pesto sauce but you can ask them to put it on the side. Fries usually comes with the sandwich but you can request a side salad instead. Just make sure you confirm the pesto sauce is on the side because sometimes they forget. read more
