    Pasta Porcini Mushroom
    Mona A.

Came here for my pre marathon dinner the night before to carb load. I ordered the mushroom pasta, and the tiramisu was a lovely dessert. Also tried the lasagna and it was great. The burrata with prosciutto was also amazing. I would recommend getting it for dine in You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. They said that it was about a 30 minute wait when I called, but I could swear I was waiting in that line for a solid hour. The pasta does come out fairly quickly once you've ordered, but be prepared to wait for quite a while. The service was so amazing, like family. I think it might actually be family owned and operated, but I'm not sure. If it is, that is so cute.

Excellent pasta. I had the pesto with a burrata mozzarella ball on it, and my partner had the spaghetti. Both are noteworthy.

Loved the concept of this restaurant. You order at the counter and they'll bring it to you. There's unlimited focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I got the mushroom pasta and my husband got the lasagna. Ingredients are incredibly fresh and the sauces are infused with different herbs. I didn't want the pasta experience to ever end! Will definitely be back in the future to try other sauces and pasta types. If you download the app, you get a free dessert and the panna cotta was incredibly smooth and silky like tofu, and it went perfectly with the strawberry sauce. Highly recommend this place! We spent around $74 for 2 pasta dishes and the arugula salad. The salad had a lovely lemon flavor which went great with the grapes, Parmesan cheese and nuts. Service was incredibly attentive, friendly and efficient.

I've been a long time customer of Pasta Sisters, and it always hits! My favorite is the Salmon and Cherry Tomatoes Pasta. It's tomatoey, tangy, and very light. I also tried my friend's Clam Pasta, and if you like strong clam flavor, you should definitely try this one out. Overall, the quality of the pasta and sauce is always consistently good. There's a free parking lot in the back that's part of Helms (look near Father's Office and behind Arcana). I'm usually able to find parking there!

Back in the day you would get endless high quality focaccia with the loveliest flaky sea salt. Now you're served the saddest dry baguette. I wish they would've outsourced to lees sandwiches for baguettes if they wanted to go this route. Back in the day the pasta was more affordable but alas, que sera sera. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was excessively hot the night I had dinner. I know i should've told the server but I am not exempt from the bystander effect. Everyone was avoiding the heat lamps & moving around to another table looking for respite. The lamps were on so high I could see flames blowing in the wind approximately 6 inches outside of the metal frame.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pasta is still delicious & my husband and I even got to try a new dish (the cacio e pepe). Bolognese papardelle add burrata 10/10 no notes. Ever since I had cacio e pepe in some restaurant in downtown long beach (around the dog haus & ross area), I feel unsatisfied with ordering cacio e pepe elsewhere. I'm Vietnamese & we go hard for black pepper. I still enjoyed the ravioli & liked the added cherry tomatoes & sliced garlic. Just wish it had more pepper. TLDR: I miss the old pasta sisters

After a three day girls trip with my sister and our daughters at Disneyland we all were craving some pasta before the long 6 hour trek home. Pasta Sisters had popped while searching and the homemade pasta + outstanding overall rating lured us right over! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating both indoor and outside under a covered patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even though you order your food at the counter first you can still sit down to be served like at a typical restaurant which is what we opted for. The owner and staff were so warm and welcoming. I felt like I was entering an Italian mother's home for dinner. Hospitality was superb! I loved how they had a display of the types of desserts, drinks, and pastas for you to get a good visual of before deciding. We ordered: Tagliatelle with wild salmon, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and garlic (8/10) - I wished I got cream, personal preference Tagliatelle with wild salmon, cream, and parsley (9/10) Tagliatelle with wild salmon, cream, and parsley + burrata (9/10) Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe (9/10) Tiramisu (12/10) DON'T SLEEP ON THIS During our dinner we were served complimentary focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This was the most delicious focaccia I've ever had! Fluffy and airy but gave great chew. We all couldn't get enough. I think some sprinkled salt baked into the top would've made it that much better but that's just me! You're probably wondering why did I knock off one star? Well, all our pastas were cold, as if they were sitting too long before being served. We still devoured everything but having it at the correct temp would've be phenomenally better! The manager was super apologetic and stated her cooks take pride in how they present their dishes and this could've contributed to the cold plates. Then my sister ordered an Italian affogato which they forgot about for quite some time. Again, the manager apologized and got on her staff about this. Now, when in the area again would we return? Absolutely!

Added grilled chicken to one of the pasta dishes and it was enough to add to 2 of the dishes

Pasta that is fresh to impress! This was our first time to this location. We had previously visited the Culver City location. We were happy to be greeted with great friendly service and pasta that is just as great as we remembered! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining area is very small so they did have to put a couple tables together for us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a variety of options, including their pasta with their sauce of the day- The Rosa Sauce, which was their take on a creamy tomato sauce. Which was absolutely delicious. Endless focaccia that was soft and fresh, made my teenage children smile from ear to ear! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is clear that the locals know this is mostly for takeout since their dining area is very small, but if you have the chance to dine in, it's worth it![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Service and staff was 5/5. Such warm and friendly kind staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is very dog friendly! 2 patios for dog dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The mozzarella cheese is phenomenal. The cold caprese salad very delicious. Pasta was good. A bit pricey $125 for 3. Would come back to try additional items and for the friendly staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean and organized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We got the 1. Clam pasta 2. Truffle 3. Salmon and tomato We all thought the clam was the best. The pasta itself had a unique texture to it. Very chewy and tastes homemade. My boyfriend did not really like it because it is definitely more al dente than al dente but I liked it. The free bread is also really good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is quick and space is large so the wait isn't long.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Spinach and ricotta ravioli
    Samantha H.

Delicious pasta! I got their spinach ricotta ravioli with the tomato basil sauce. They were generously filled and the sauce was sweet, tangy, and super flavorful. I also loved the complimentary focaccia bread, which they serve with olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor seating is also nice when it's sunny out and the servers are so friendly and attentive to your needs![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend to those curious! I'd love to stop by again to try their tortellini.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Pasta Sisters has a cozy & vibrant atmosphere that's perfect for a girls luncheon date![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My friend and I came about an hour after they opened, there was plenty of se[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]a[[HIGHLIGHT]]ting. To add, there's tons of natural lighting to bask in and take pic[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]tures. No picture, not even the one I'm posting does their salmon & cream pasta justice. I typically enjoy my salmon very simply - pan fried with salt and pepper to season. But this dish was delicate, yet flavorful (giving a personal rating of 4.6/5). Lastly.. don't be fooled by the appearance, this portion was super filling! Also wanted to note this restaurant has a friendly staff that's knowledgeable and willing to explain any of the menu items in depth. I really appreciated the staff since my friend and I were interested in so many items and took our time narrowing down our final choices. Looking forward to trying their gnocchi and tagliatelle the next time I'm in the area :)

Food: Bolognese with Tagiatelle pasta and buratta: - Tagiatelle was cooked perfectly al dente and there was enough meat sauce to ensure the noodles didn't dry out - Sauce had good tomato flavor and meat - Burrata: Not recommended ): for $8 the burrata is from Sogno Toscan, not made in house. It was good, but not enough for me to get again. Stick with the pasta Service: - Order at the counter and then they bring you your food - Lots of seating inside and outdoors on 2 patios

Which of the vegetarian options can be made allium-free (no onion, no garlic)?

First time coming here later on, Is it hard to find parking?

Hello Ivette. We have parking right behind the restaurant in the Helms Bakery District! There's plenty of parking over there and it's free.

    Do they have gluten-free options?

    They actually do 🎉🙂

    Do they take reservations?

No, they do not! It's just a line you get into and order all your items and then sit down.

Is the Burrata made from pasteurized milk?

I just called and asked and they said yes, it's pasteurized.

Do you have to make reservations, or can you walk in?

They don't do reservations so you can walk in. But they have plenty of tables outside during the pandemic.

How are they operating during COVID?

They have outdoor seating as well as s hybrid balcony area. They will check your temperature as well as provide you with hand sanitizers. Can't go inside other then to use the bathroom.

Does this restaurant use plexiglass between every table?

When I was there, the tables are outside without plexiglass between tables. But they were spaced apart appropriately.

Is there table service on the patio, or do you have to go in and order at the counter?

it was wait in line to order at the counter when i went in december of 2019 but not sure how operations are proceeding during the pandemic

Did you recently change the serving plates to plastic?

I was there last week and had a ceramic plate.

Hi Lsue, To answer your question: No, we do not offer "credit" when a customer returns a dish.…

Is it possible to add chicken (or other protein options) to the pastas, such as the arrabbiata sauce?

Sort of. You can order some grilled chicken and mix it into your pasta yourself; if you ask for chicken, they don't add it to the pasta for you, they bring you the chicken on a separate plate.…

Can Pasta Sisters accommodate a severe peanut allergy?

If your allergy is that bad I would stay away from any place where they serve any type of pesto (which they serve). If it's just contact or eating I would suggest to call them and ask them how the food is prepared so there is no cross contamination.…

Do you take reservations and does the entire party need to be there to be seated?

    Is it BYOw or b?

They sell beer and 🍷 wine . Great pasta and lasagna! There can be a line to order.

Do you happen to offer any gluten-free pastas?

Just called them and they do not offer any Gluten Free noodles.

How long is the wait on a Friday evening around 7 pm?

That's usually peak time, I'd expect ~15 min for your food, but finding a table will be very difficult.

How crowded does it get on a Monday evening? Is the wait very long around 7:30?

    Not to busy

    Is this place dog friendly?

It's dog friendly. There is covered patio seating that is comfortable for you and your furry companion.

I considered hosting a party at blending lab in the past & I was under the impression that we blend our own wine. Yesterday I asked the guy behind the counter some questions and he didn't mention this option at all. He said we can taste wine and pay for a glass...I was actually trying to learn more about the business, not the offerings at the opening party . I'm truly invested in putting beautiful West Adam's on the map, I love and purposely made an effort to move into this neighborhood. Maybe next time I'll learn more about what they'll be offering at this new location. They have a cute interior plus a small outdoor area with string lights. I was a bit surprised the glass of wine was $20 which isn't competitive for this area (the area is not nice enough yet) but I know costs are getting high. I do want to support businesses moving into our community but I'd like them to take into consideration that this is still south LA and a lot of people who grew up in this neighborhood isn't a fan of the gentrification and pricing the businesses charge I do feel for them, people like me moving into the neighborhood hasn't helped but even for me I thought it was a bit much. I'll continued observing but nonetheless am happy to see something be open up. Maybe I'll take a class one day if that's still an option and update my review.

The location has a spacious area filled with a variety of wine options. I picked a Bourgogne Chardonnay from France ($36). We came on a late Monday afternoon and, lucky for us, they have a bar special on Mondays: No corkage fee! They also have Happy Hour-- Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. The Chardonnay was divine! I would totally return and purchase another bottle. We also ordered a charcuterie board and took advantage of their happy hour special for $20 (pick two-- one cheese and one meat). We opted for the 'Humboldt Fog' Chèvre as our cheese option and the Bresaola for our meat option. Both were delicious, but the chèvre was truly exquisite. We shared one charcuterie board with five people and it was enough; however if you're on the hungry side, I suggest two charcuterie boards for five or six people. In addition to meat and cheese, it comes with crackers, some pickled veggies, onion jam, candied nuts, whole grain Dijon, and apple slices. On the left side of the venue you have your variety of wine options; on the right side, there's the bar and some tables, plus a small area with other snacks for purchase that pair nicely with wine or beer. They even sell the Torres truffle chips! My only complaint is the service, unfortunately. The lady at the cashier was super friendly, however the bar tender was not so welcoming. When he came over to our table to open our wine bottle, he didn't greet us, smile, or say anything. He took our bottle and opened it and then asked who was going to taste. Not sure if he thought we didn't speak English since we were speaking another language when he came to our table, but overall, we all noticed his attitude and thought it was rather unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I rate this place a 4/5, however, everything else was great!

Unfortunately, I think the vibe is completely off with this type of food, and I think it's hurting their customer base (I.e, there's a sports watching day, and live DJ?, but the food is definitely more for upscale vibes). I also didn't know they have a rotating menu with different chefs, so when I came in craving for something like steak frites and find out the don't have it even though their sample menu lists it on their website, it kind of throws my mood a little. Moreover, their wine list is not extensive considering it's a wine bar, and wine mentioned in their name :) Anyways I've digressed. With this special menu, I ordered the scallop tostada and maitake taco. The scallops were very fresh, and it was a very well balanced dish. I would totally order this again! The maitake mushroom was exploding with flavors, though I find the sauce a little too salty for my taste. If I came here just for food, I'd come back and try new things!

The menu is inviting with plenty of great options without being overwhelming. Less is more. But let's talk art (culinary, that is). The dishes certainly deserve main features. To start "the best Caesar salad in LA" and I quote which was certainly true. Grilled octopus charred on the inside and juicy at the center. Spicy pomodoro is perfectly al dente and a well-balanced sauce. But, my favorite-- the agnolotti! Wow, melt in your mouth! The flavor profiles of corn, crème fraiche, and old bay were delicious. My only wish -- larger serving of this (smallest pasta serving on the menu). To complete it, banana pudding tiramisu -- delicious too with a firm center and oozy outside. Atala was wonderful and very sweet. Recommendation: come with a group of at least 4 to try more on the menu -- the large plates (branzino and ribeye) looked excellent! Definitely a worthwhile visit.

Of the things we ordered, I really loved the farro salad ($22?) best. Refreshing pomegranate seeds are mixed with the farro and give the salad an added crunch. The farro sits on a bed of dill infused crème fraiche. It is a deliciously refreshing salad and the perfect complement to any meal. For pastas, the sweet corn agnolotti ($28) was so light and fun. The little pockets of agnolotti is stuffed with corn and swims in a savory broth anchored by crème fraiche. It's giving summer and I'm absolutely here for it. Cento's dining space is quaint, so make sure to make a resy.

When I went to order at the counter, the staff said we could sit and they were serve us, which I wasn't expecting at all! I really appreciate they that have both the fast-casual order style and the sit down and enjoy style duality to this restaurant. I got the chai latte and a hummus bowl with falafel (though as I write this I can't remember if that was the actual menu name of the dish). It was delicious--the falafel was one of the best I've ever had taste wise, and a bit on the airy side instead of being super dense, which I appreciated. Sometimes falafel is too dang dry, and they really got it right. The hummus was phenomenal. I'm really such a sucker for a good, quality hummus and it was so creamy and the oil they topped it with was wonderful too. The veggies were fresh and the pita was such a star: it was thick and chewy and clearly freshly made. Immediate 5 star for the food. So glad I stopped by here and will definitely be back!

The food was just as memorable. The chicken Parmesan was everything you want it to be: crispy, flavorful, and topped with a rich, perfectly balanced marinara and plenty of melted cheese. The Rigatoni Vodka (we added a meatball) was equally impressive. The vodka sauce was creamy without being overly heavy, and the meatball was tender, well seasoned, and packed with flavor. One thing to know before you go: parking can be a nightmare. There is valet in front, or you can opt for parking in the surrounding neighborhood. You're better off grabbing a rideshare if you can. It makes the experience much easier, especially if you plan on enjoying a few drinks. Between the beautiful ambiance, generous portions, and delicious food, this is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

They brought my food out fast, I wanted to ask for sauces, more napkins & no one checked in on me. Maybe because I came during dinner time? The bartender is gold -- he was more attentive than the whole staff the entire time. I am sad to say that this truly made my food non exciting and very blah.
