    Pasta Bolognese

Honestly, one of my favorite Italian places of all time. I ordered the pasta Bolognese, and it was way more delicious than I remembered. The serving sizes are great, although it definitely is a little more on the pricier side of things. But it's definitely worth it! The service is great, the vibe is great since they have an outdoor patio seating on both sides of the restaurant. I went here for a birthday lunch with friends, and they are very, very accommodating of any allergies. Will definitely be returning very soon!

This location's back patio is beautiful and although parking's not the easiest, the food is worth it. Service is efficient, both in person and through delivery. For takeout, they even labeled with names which was really helpful for group orders. The black truffle butter pasta was delicious - I'm rarely able to find a black truffle pasta that also doesn't have cheese but the simplicity with the butter and delicacy of the freshly made tagliatelle made a perfect bite. The spaghetti clam pasta was plated nicely and had a good portion of clams, a great seafood option I was happy they offer. The bottarga pasta is my favorite just because it's harder to find and they do it really well. Since it's not creamy, the roe flavor is prominent and the fresh pasta is the best vehicle but I was disappointed to see it's no longer on the menu.

I fwiggin love pasta sisters. Service, quick and easy with quick service ordering and grabbing your own water jug. Ambiance is busy and a bit small, but nice-looking. Food is fwiggin delicious. I've been here so many times and I'll continue to

I gotta say, Pasta Sisters is my favorite Italian restaurant by far! The pasta is always cooked perfectly al dente and one of my favorite things about this place is that you can customize your own pasta dish. I always order the smoked salmon pasta and I also love building my own with tagliatelle, mushrooms, and alfredo sauce. It never disappoints! Whether you're looking for a casual dinner or a cozy date night spot, Pasta Sisters is always a solid choice. Highly recommend!

Had the Porcino Mushroom pasta at Pasta Sisters in Culver City and really enjoyed it. The pasta was flavorful and nicely prepared. A pleasant spot for a casual Italian meal. It is counter service - they bring the food to you after you pay at the counter. Ample patio seating space.

Parking in the rear. Long line to order for dinner. You can dine inside or outside on two patios. Served with warmed up bread and served with oil and balsamic vinegar, which is the American way though Italians would be shocked. Meat lasagna and an arugula salad with fresh lemonade. Very good but the wait time to order is not great.

Came here for my pre marathon dinner the night before to carb load. I ordered the mushroom pasta, and the tiramisu was a lovely dessert. Also tried the lasagna and it was great. The burrata with prosciutto was also amazing. I would recommend getting it for dine in You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. They said that it was about a 30 minute wait when I called, but I could swear I was waiting in that line for a solid hour. The pasta does come out fairly quickly once you've ordered, but be prepared to wait for quite a while. The service was so amazing, like family. I think it might actually be family owned and operated, but I'm not sure. If it is, that is so cute.

I've been a long time customer of Pasta Sisters, and it always hits! My favorite is the Salmon and Cherry Tomatoes Pasta. It's tomatoey, tangy, and very light. I also tried my friend's Clam Pasta, and if you like strong clam flavor, you should definitely try this one out. Overall, the quality of the pasta and sauce is always consistently good. There's a free parking lot in the back that's part of Helms (look near Father's Office and behind Arcana). I'm usually able to find parking there!

Back in the day you would get endless high quality focaccia with the loveliest flaky sea salt. Now you're served the saddest dry baguette. I wish they would've outsourced to lees sandwiches for baguettes if they wanted to go this route. Back in the day the pasta was more affordable but alas, que sera sera. It was excessively hot the night I had dinner. I know i should've told the server but I am not exempt from the bystander effect. Everyone was avoiding the heat lamps & moving around to another table looking for respite. The lamps were on so high I could see flames blowing in the wind approximately 6 inches outside of the metal frame. The pasta is still delicious & my husband and I even got to try a new dish (the cacio e pepe). Bolognese papardelle add burrata 10/10 no notes. Ever since I had cacio e pepe in some restaurant in downtown long beach (around the dog haus & ross area), I feel unsatisfied with ordering cacio e pepe elsewhere. I'm Vietnamese & we go hard for black pepper. I still enjoyed the ravioli & liked the added cherry tomatoes & sliced garlic. Just wish it had more pepper. TLDR: I miss the old pasta sisters

After a three day girls trip with my sister and our daughters at Disneyland we all were craving some pasta before the long 6 hour trek home. Pasta Sisters had popped while searching and the homemade pasta + outstanding overall rating lured us right over! Plenty of seating both indoor and outside under a covered patio. Even though you order your food at the counter first you can still sit down to be served like at a typical restaurant which is what we opted for. The owner and staff were so warm and welcoming. I felt like I was entering an Italian mother's home for dinner. Hospitality was superb! I loved how they had a display of the types of desserts, drinks, and pastas for you to get a good visual of before deciding. We ordered: Tagliatelle with wild salmon, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and garlic (8/10) - I wished I got cream, personal preference Tagliatelle with wild salmon, cream, and parsley (9/10) Tagliatelle with wild salmon, cream, and parsley + burrata (9/10) Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe (9/10) Tiramisu (12/10) DON'T SLEEP ON THIS During our dinner we were served complimentary focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This was the most delicious focaccia I've ever had! Fluffy and airy but gave great chew. We all couldn't get enough. I think some sprinkled salt baked into the top would've made it that much better but that's just me! You're probably wondering why did I knock off one star? Well, all our pastas were cold, as if they were sitting too long before being served. We still devoured everything but having it at the correct temp would've be phenomenally better! The manager was super apologetic and stated her cooks take pride in how they present their dishes and this could've contributed to the cold plates. Then my sister ordered an Italian affogato which they forgot about for quite some time. Again, the manager apologized and got on her staff about this. Now, when in the area again would we return? Absolutely!

Service and staff was 5/5. Such warm and friendly kind staff. This place is very dog friendly! 2 patios for dog dining. The mozzarella cheese is phenomenal. The cold caprese salad very delicious. Pasta was good. A bit pricey $125 for 3. Would come back to try additional items and for the friendly staff. Very clean and organized.

We got the 1. Clam pasta 2. Truffle 3. Salmon and tomato We all thought the clam was the best. The pasta itself had a unique texture to it. Very chewy and tastes homemade. My boyfriend did not really like it because it is definitely more al dente than al dente but I liked it. The free bread is also really good. Service is quick and space is large so the wait isn't long.

First time coming here later on, Is it hard to find parking?

Hello Ivette. We have parking right behind the restaurant in the Helms Bakery District! There's plenty of parking over there and it's free.

    Do they have gluten-free options?

    They actually do 🎉🙂

    Do they take reservations?

No, they do not! It's just a line you get into and order all your items and then sit down.

Is the Burrata made from pasteurized milk?

I just called and asked and they said yes, it's pasteurized.

Do you have to make reservations, or can you walk in?

They don't do reservations so you can walk in. But they have plenty of tables outside during the pandemic.

How are they operating during COVID?

They have outdoor seating as well as s hybrid balcony area. They will check your temperature as well as provide you with hand sanitizers. Can't go inside other then to use the bathroom.

Does this restaurant use plexiglass between every table?

When I was there, the tables are outside without plexiglass between tables. But they were spaced apart appropriately.

Is there table service on the patio, or do you have to go in and order at the counter?

it was wait in line to order at the counter when i went in december of 2019 but not sure how operations are proceeding during the pandemic

Did you recently change the serving plates to plastic?

I was there last week and had a ceramic plate.

Is it possible to add chicken (or other protein options) to the pastas, such as the arrabbiata sauce?

Sort of. You can order some grilled chicken and mix it into your pasta yourself; if you ask for chicken, they don't add it to the pasta for you, they bring you the chicken on a separate plate.…

Can Pasta Sisters accommodate a severe peanut allergy?

If your allergy is that bad I would stay away from any place where they serve any type of pesto (which they serve). If it's just contact or eating I would suggest to call them and ask them how the food is prepared so there is no cross contamination.…

Do you take reservations and does the entire party need to be there to be seated?

    Is it BYOw or b?

They sell beer and 🍷 wine . Great pasta and lasagna! There can be a line to order.

Do you happen to offer any gluten-free pastas?

Just called them and they do not offer any Gluten Free noodles.

How long is the wait on a Friday evening around 7 pm?

That's usually peak time, I'd expect ~15 min for your food, but finding a table will be very difficult.

How crowded does it get on a Monday evening? Is the wait very long around 7:30?

    Not to busy

    Is this place dog friendly?

It's dog friendly. There is covered patio seating that is comfortable for you and your furry companion.

The location has a spacious area filled with a variety of wine options. I picked a Bourgogne Chardonnay from France ($36). We came on a late Monday afternoon and, lucky for us, they have a bar special on Mondays: No corkage fee! They also have Happy Hour-- Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. The Chardonnay was divine! I would totally return and purchase another bottle. We also ordered a charcuterie board and took advantage of their happy hour special for $20 (pick two-- one cheese and one meat). We opted for the 'Humboldt Fog' Chèvre as our cheese option and the Bresaola for our meat option. Both were delicious, but the chèvre was truly exquisite. We shared one charcuterie board with five people and it was enough; however if you're on the hungry side, I suggest two charcuterie boards for five or six people. In addition to meat and cheese, it comes with crackers, some pickled veggies, onion jam, candied nuts, whole grain Dijon, and apple slices. On the left side of the venue you have your variety of wine options; on the right side, there's the bar and some tables, plus a small area with other snacks for purchase that pair nicely with wine or beer. They even sell the Torres truffle chips! My only complaint is the service, unfortunately. The lady at the cashier was super friendly, however the bar tender was not so welcoming. When he came over to our table to open our wine bottle, he didn't greet us, smile, or say anything. He took our bottle and opened it and then asked who was going to taste. Not sure if he thought we didn't speak English since we were speaking another language when he came to our table, but overall, we all noticed his attitude and thought it was rather unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I rate this place a 4/5, however, everything else was great!

I arrived a bit before opening, and a guy who was outside saw me trying the door and welcomed me right in. Inside, another man was having a meeting at the counter. When I hesitated to interrupt, he politely asked the man he was meeting with, who kindly didn't mind at all, and stepped up to help me. He introduced himself as Keith, which i realized later as one of the owners. Keith took the time to ask about my budget and what I was looking for, guiding me right to the perfect bottle. It was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to come back for their future wine tasting events!

My friends have been wanting to come here after seeing it on the socials, so I figured it would be more about the photo ops and less quality dishes. Glad I was wrong! I mean, we were obsessed with all the floral decor, pastel and animal print plates, green outdoor patio and the pretty presentations of the cocktails. I loved the Make a Wish drink, which was served in a an ornate genie lamp, cute glass in a gold saucer and topped with a bite of key lime pie. The cocktail is an herbal concoction of Kumiho Gin, juniper berry, blueberry, butterfly pea flower, hibiscus, Austrian elderflower, Lo-fi gentian, and grapefruit. It is soju-based so it's not that strong, but I could taste each ingredient with every sip. My friends and I shared: Farmhouse Wings ($21.95) for 3 Crispy organic whole wings served with basil and chili plum sauce. The wings were big, juicy and had a nicely, seasoned crispy skin. Not sure it's worth the price point though. Volcano Cup ($39.95) Noodle stir fried with our house God-mother sauce braised short ribs, peppercorn, bell peppers, white onions, Thai eggplant, and crispy basil. Okay, I thought this was going to be some gimmicky, mediocre dish, but it was actually fire! There were lots of fresh vegetables, the short rib fell off the bone, and it packed a good heat I absolutely loved. Live Lobster Pad Thai (58.95) The Maine Lobster was on the small side with tiger prawns, thin rice noodles, bean sprouts, chive, peanuts, cage free eggs, and Thai seafood sauce, white onion and crispy shallots. Considering how pricey the other dishes are, this seemed reasonable for a lobster dish. Oxtail Curry (46.95) Real Collagen BOMB! Braised oxtail in Panang curry served with turmeric rice, cucumber and yummy cilantro fish sauce. It has an initial sweet taste of coconut milk, but then the heat creeps up but not too strongly. This was even better the next day as leftovers. The service was excellent too. We were originally going to sit outside in their calm, green patio area but it was a hot day, so they let us sit inside. Our servers took great care of us from beginning to end and gave me a little extra of their yummy cilantro sauce with my take home box. All the drinks and dishes came out fairly quickly as well!

When I went to order at the counter, the staff said we could sit and they were serve us, which I wasn't expecting at all! I really appreciate they that have both the fast-casual order style and the sit down and enjoy style duality to this restaurant. I got the chai latte and a hummus bowl with falafel (though as I write this I can't remember if that was the actual menu name of the dish). It was delicious--the falafel was one of the best I've ever had taste wise, and a bit on the airy side instead of being super dense, which I appreciated. Sometimes falafel is too dang dry, and they really got it right. The hummus was phenomenal. I'm really such a sucker for a good, quality hummus and it was so creamy and the oil they topped it with was wonderful too. The veggies were fresh and the pita was such a star: it was thick and chewy and clearly freshly made. Immediate 5 star for the food. So glad I stopped by here and will definitely be back!
