The pubs of all pubs! It's a staple in this town and always a good time. The food has ALWAYS hit the spot and their wings are a solid option. They are tiny, but tiny is good. That means no hormones injected into them. Their buffalo sauce is fingerlicking good. I just missed the cutoff for their dinner menu and had to choose from their late night menu, but their cheesesteaks are amazinggggg! Get it on their garlick bread and you will have a heart attack and food-gasm at the same time. Always a great hang spot, especially for any sporting event and games. No parking lot, but if you go late enough you can park at the lot across the way.

Not from NJ, but I felt at home here. Our waiter was super welcoming, had a ton of suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the menu and food choices. I ordered the Sicilian, and my god, hands down best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The chicken was fried perfectly and literally glistening on the inside, cooked to perfection. The fries were great as well!. I asked if I could get some of their balsamic that someone else got with their dish and our waiter happily obliged. If you're in the area, come in and try some of their delicious food, you won't regret it at all

This place has a great look to it. Floor to ceiling, everything is old wood and nicely kept. Service is great. This is not a dive, though it could easily be turned into one if they decided to go that flavor. Prices were about average, maybe a little above. I wanted to try their wings, looked a little steep to me though. Mozzarella sticks were well-priced for mozzarella sticks which are always overpriced anyway, but they didn't taste very good. Still, great decor and atmosphere.

I've been here before and it was very good. Everybody has an off day. Tonight was no exception. My husband ordered the hot open turkey sandwich. Very small portion. Tiny in fact! He never ever finishes his meal but tonight he ate it all. The fries were not hot. Very disappointing. I had the Chicken Philly. Bigger portion. Fries also not hot. The bread was awful. The chicken was very thick. It was good if I wanted a grilled chicken sandwich but this was supposed to be a chicken Philly. It didn't come close. The drinks were weak & expensive. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed tonight. I wish it wasn't so because I love the atmosphere and it used to be so good. The service was fine. Nothing outstanding. Just fine. We were not thrilled with the check either. They charged $1.89 for paying by card but gave a discount if you paid cash! They should've let us know and we would have gotten cash prior. A warning would have been nice. $80 for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks each. Wasted $.

Not sure what kinda wings or birds these are but they aren't regular chickens lol smallest wing challenge complete

With a long bar top and table seating you can have a large gathering for any occasion and it's open quite late. To add, you can order food and have it delivered here to eat. The vibes are exactly what you look for in a dive bar, and I can't wait to keep coming back.

That combo right there? Yeah, I'm definitely coming back just for that. My friend said his burger was really good too. The place itself was clean, the ambiance was nice, not too loud, and there were plenty of TVs to catch the games. Overall just a really good vibe. Definitely adding this to my regular spots.

The burgers are good too but I do not like the sauce they use. It's the same sauce they use for the sushi so it just taste weird on the burger, in my opinion. Just keep that in mind and maybe get it on the side or say no sauce like I do. They offer tasty desserts you don't typically find elsewhere. The space itself is large, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of TVs, making it a good spot for watching games or gathering with friends. There is plenty of parking, but sometimes that parking is a bit of a walk if it's a busy time but typically always find parking... rarely have to go to the underground parking lot. Service can be inconsistent, especially when it comes to larger groups or parties, which can slow things down at times. Overall, while it's not my top choice, it's a place I still enjoy going to and will continue to return to.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Piadina: This sandwich was packed with chunks of chicken and chopped bacon (obviously, based on the name of this menu item) and was served on a crispy Parmesan wrap. The ranch was not smothered onto the sandwich, but was served on the side. I feel this was a better alternative because the dressing absorbs into the sandwich which compromises the texture. The presentation of the sandwich could have been better; it needed to be aligned more symmetrically. Salted Caramel Pizookie: This dessert is a variation from an original chocolate chip cookie Pizookie. Toffee, pretzel bites, and white & dark chocolate chip morsels were mixed into the warm caramel cookie. The confection was topped with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. I enjoyed it down to the last bite and craved more. Upon ordering, I did not realize only miniature pizookies are included with this weekday special, hence the name of the ad, "Pizookie Meal Deal." I found out after the fact I could have substituted a regular sized Pizookie for a $4 up charge. (Had I known, I would have upgraded in a heartbeat.) The meal was decent for the most part, but the service was outstanding. Bartender Enrique was very attentive. He kept my water glass filled. When I requested a doggie bag, he also brought me a separate cup of ranch sauce for the leftovers. Enrique was conversational and it was a pleasure being served by him. #bjsbrewhouse #pizookie #minipizookie #saltedcaramelpizookie

When I told my mom where we were going her reaction- "omg that place is still around?!? It use to be excellent back in the day!" Well I am happy to report this place is just as good today as it was during my mother's heyday. I decided to get a few oysters and clams to start off with and everything was just so fresh. As an entree the Seafood in a spicy red sauce was easily one of the best I have had in a very long time. There was a generous amount of seafood within the dish, the sauce I swear I could just drink it out of a cup and the pasta was cooked perfectly. My husband got the bbq ribs which I didn't try but you could see how they just slid right off the bone and he couldn't stop talking about how good they were. We ended our meal with some strong espresso. I enjoyed how it is a very casual atmosphere with a nice bar area that had a few TVs to watch some sports games. No need to dress to impress. The service was a little bit on the slower side but the waitress was very nice. The man who brought out my oysters, I asked him which were the east coast and which where in the west coast oysters, along with asking him where in the west coast my oysters were from and he couldn't tell me. I just think a place should just know these things is they are selling them. Nonetheless we still really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return.

The Jersey Shore restaurants will always have an advantage when it comes to seafood because of location. North Jersey offers a diverse, high-quality seafood scene, ranging from upscale Mediterranean-style fish markets to casual, beloved neighborhood spots. Situated less than 2.5 miles from MetLife Stadium, Biggie's has been a neighborhood institution located off of Route 17 South in Carlstadt and is best known for its clams-on-the-half-shell and wide selection of beers on tap. My partner, our friends, and I have been to this family-owned establishment numerous times and decided to have dinner last night. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this casual vibe, we were greeted by the host. There is a lively sports bar side full of TVs and a dining room side, where we got a booth immediately by the window. Their menu has a wide array of options, rivaled only by the countless photographs and mementos that fill nearly every inch of wall space. There are many sandwiches, a half-dozen salads, thin-crust pizzas, and a substantial range of pastas. For starters, we decided on two dozen East Coast oysters on a half shell and Steamed Mussels with white wine butter broth. A side of Italian bread was brought for dipping. As a main meal, we opted for the Turkey Chili, Baby Back Ribs, Fried Calamari, Caesar salad, and Fries. The food was excellent and delicious, using the freshest ingredients. The portions were healthy. The staff went out of their way to make one feel welcome, creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Our server was Hadiyah. The price was reasonable. The Garden State's seafood scene is a testament to the state's rich maritime heritage, offering something for every palate, whether one's a regular or a first-timer. This is why people keep coming back week after week.
