    The Mando

The service was bad, didn't get acknowledged when we walked through the door and we were the only customers there. The worker there didn't seem to want to help us and made us wait awhile. The smoothie was pretty good, I got the mando which was açaí and banana. The customer service rubbed me off and I would rather go somewhere else instead in the future.

My friends and I stopped by in Pacifica on the way to Santa Cruz for a day trip at the end of the long weekend. They wanted coffee from nearby Soul Grind Coffee Roasters, but I on the other hand preferred a smoothie. I ordered a Red Leader smoothie online to pick up while waiting for my friends' coffees to be ready at Soul Grind. It was only $8, tax included! I thought for sure it would be smaller than normal, but when I arrived, I was surprised to see it was the same size as anywhere else. The smoothie was simple and straightforward - not a lot of ingredients, but it was a solid meal replacement for breakfast.

When I tell you this is some of the BEST açaí I have ever had... I am not joking. Ever since I tasted this açaí.. I've thought about it on a daily basis. Like why is it so good? I can't recommend this place enough... I got a medium sized bowl in hopes to split it with someone else. Well actually I ate pretty much the whole thing lol. It was THAT good. The peanut butter is very rich.. Nutella.. yeaaah this place is good.

First timer. I usually go to palmetto for an acaii bowl/smoothie. Didn't know about this place. Residing in south San Francisco, the drive to Burlingame is sometimes a little far. The drive to Pacifica is somewhat better and convenient. I got an acaii bowl for my first try and was good. They were out of my first choice dragon fruit, but that's okay. I was also told I was able to mix two bases, so I chose the spirulina and acaii. I'll be coming back. Not too often bc the prices add up hehe but yes, I'll be back. Shoutout to Andy for taking care of me! Thank you, Andy!

What a delicious spot for acai bowls near the ocean! We stopped by on a whim craving some colorful acai bowls during our day in Pacifica and left with a newly discovered favorite food spot in the area. We got build-your-own bowls and layered up with the gorgeous, VIBRANT, tropical hues of Acai, Dragonfruit, and Blue Spirulina. The bases have a well-balanced consistency -- not too soft that everything melts quickly but not too frozen that it's like eating ice. I also like their unique toppings -- it's unlimited and we topped up with blackberries, strawberries, granolas, and chocolate chips! The choco chips add a rich, creamy, chewy component to your bowl that I've never had at other Acai spots! However, I have to take 2 stars off for the service -- the workers don't give off a welcoming vibe and aren't very friendly. They don't greet you and I remember one time the guy helping us had a short and snappy attitude... They also seem short-staffed -- there was only 1 worker fulfilling both online orders and in-store orders, which resulted in everyone in line waiting for 15 minutes while all the online orders were finished first by 1 worker. Overall, acai bowls are great but service could really use some improvement.

Perfect post hike acai spot in pacifica! Plenty of parking in shopping center area and seating inside. Great selection of bases for bowl, unlimited toppings + smoothies I got the acai and pitaya base - i appreciated how staff packs the layers in. The bases itself are perfect consistency, it is cold enough to where bowl doesnt melt while holding and eating. Fruit toppings are fresh and ripe! Will definitely be returning, great spot!

This was my first time stoping by The Açaí Spot. It's located in a strip mall, so plenty of free parking. When I walked in, it wasn't busy and the guy didn't acknowledge me. He was finishing up a DoorDash order and finally helped me. The ordering instructions were very clear- pick a size, a base, toppings, drizzle and nut butter if you'd like. I went with the Açaí base with granola, chia pudding, coconut, strawberries, bananas and honey. Everything went really well together and the portions were generous. The place itself wasn't too impressive- although they do have cool stools. A group of teens walked in as I was about to pay and the guy looked at them but didn't greet them. A simple hello or even a smile makes hell of a difference.

Before they opened, V discovered, via Maps search, that The Açaí Spot was to open their Pacifica store, just a few minutes' drive from our house. We were excited to try out a new spot that serves the popular breakfast or snack option. Social media posts of their vibrantly presented bowls of blended frozen smoothie-like bases topped with a variety of fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, granola and sauces like nutella, cookie butter, etc. helped to reel us in. Located at the Linda Mar Shopping Center, parking is easy to find in the spacious lot. We have always found a space to park just steps away from the front entrance. The shoppe is simple in decor with hardwood floors, black walls and tables, and fruit-themed seats. They also have bar seating facing the front window. The venue always appears to be fairly clean every time we visit. The Açaí Spot's menu is short and simply composed of build-your-own bowls and a list of fruit smoothies. The steps to building a bowl are straightforward: 1. CHOOSE BOWL size (12 oz for $12.00, 16oz for $14.00, 24oz for $16.00) 2. CHOOSE BASES (AÇAÍ, DRAGON FRUIT, COCONUT, UBE, MATCHA, BLUE SPIRULINA, and for an extra $1 CHIA PUDDING) - V usually goes for an açaí base. I always have a bottom layer of granola with coconut and matcha bases...and sometimes even chia pudding (Yes, you can pick multiple bases!) Mom likes the ube. 3. CHOOSE TOPPINGS (CHIA PUDDING, GOJIBERRIES, STRAWBERRY, CHIA SEEDS, BANANA, ALMONDS, BLACKBERRIES, COCONUT SHAVING, BLUEBERRY, CHOCOLATE CHIPS, CRUMBLED OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIE), DRIZZLES (HONEY DRIZZLE, AGAVE DRIZZLE, CONDENSED MILK) AND NUT BUTTERS (PEANUT BUTTER, ALMOND BUTTER). With the exception of more butter for an extra $1, I think that you can choose to have all of the selections of toppings and drizzles. I like to top with chia pudding, strawberry, banana, almond slivers, blueberry and sometimes crumbled oatmeal raisin cookie, agave drizzle and almond butter. Our bowls are always sumptuous. Service here is just like at an ice cream shoppe - order at the counter and pay once all of your items are made. Easy peasy. For the most part, the staff is usually warm and friendly. The Açaí Spot is currently our favourite açaí shoppe. After we brought Mom here, she craved a bowl so much that she searched for a place nearby her house to get another...which she said was not as good as what she got from here.

A pretty cute place inside with fruit decor for chairs and very clean. Aside from the menu, there is a small section that sells grab and go items like power bars and snacks. We came to grab a couple of bowls and I have to say the staff wasn't very welcoming. It almost seemed like she didn't want to be there. No smile, no greeting and not really much enthusiasm. After putting in our first order it looked like they were out of açaí. She was rummaging through 4 different containers before she found one she could scoop some out of. Wanted granola, also out and needed to be refilled. Wanted blueberries, also out and needed to be refilled. Only strawberries and bananas seemed to be stocked. I could understand being out of items if there were a constant stream of customers but there were nobody there when we entered. I think a better use of down time could be spent restocking. Finally got our order and paid. A half hearted "thank you" and she was on to the next customer. Taste and presentation was ok but service could use some work.

Despite it being only 10 am, they didn't have any of the base flavors we wanted in stock. However, the coconut and acai options were delicious. The spacious location offers ample indoor seating.

Worst açaí bowl spot ever. We tried their smoothies and they all tasted like nothing. The acai smoothie didn't even look like it had acai in it. It had a weird gray color and tasted watery. The strawberry banana with almond butter smoothie tasted even more bland with no sweetness at all. 100% would not recommend.

Absolutely delicious and friendly service. So many choices for toppings. So glad to have a healthy option in the Linda Mar Shopping center.

Finally.. an acai spot in pacifica. Came here on a sunday night at 6pm and their bowls still tasted super fresh. Interior is pretty dark and there are some cute chairs, but limited eating inside, so its best to go to the beach and eat it. Service was fast as we were the only ones in line. Got an acai base + all the fruits, almond butter & chia pudding. Unfortunately they were out of coconut shreds, but still was good regardless. Me and my bf love a good base and their acai base was pretty good and not sour at all compared to other acai spots. The good thing about this spot is that they have a good amount of topping selections and it's not limited. Will come back :)
