    Do you do HERs report?

Thank you for reaching out! Currently, we don't offer HERS testing services. However, we're always looking for ways to expand our offerings. If you need help with any other HVAC services, I'd be happy to assist!

Hi Juan, We have a central AC in our house. The air ducts on two room is not blowing strong. Is…

Hi Angel, Yes I can. It sounds like it might be a damaged or duct design issue.

Do you install dryer vent duct from dryer then attic then to the exterior wall?

    We don't.

Hi, do you work on gravity vented wall furnaces? I have one where the pilot won't stay on.

Yes, I work on wall furnaces but I don't work on floor furnaces.

What's approximate cost to move 4 ton AC unit ground mounted about 20 feet further back and around the corner (hidden behind the house instead on the side)?

I don't give prices here in Community Questions page. Please email me at theaircoguy@gmail.com and I'll be more than happy to give you a rough estimate.

Do you do maintenance on mini split ac unit?

No I'm sorry, only do maintenance on the ones I install.

Hi, do you clean air ducts?

Sorry, no I don't clean ducts.

Hi. Do you service or clean window AC units?

    I don't I'm sorry.

Do you repair window AC units? I have a brand new one with a refrigerant leak that the manufacturer simply refunded the cost of the unit without requiring a return for repair/replacement. A repair could theoretically be cost effective.

I don't I'm sorry. You need to take it to an appliance repair shop.

How much is HVAC tune-up and what does it include entirely?

Arthur's response time was incredible. He was at our house within an hour of my call, diagnosed the problem, and got our A/C back up and running. What I really appreciated was that Arthur took the approach of fixing our existing unit rather than trying to sell us a new one. He was honest, fair, and very upfront about everything he was doing. I ask a lot of questions, and he was incredibly gracious about explaining what he was checking and why, and kept me informed throughout the repair. His pricing was also very fair and reasonable for the work he did. Our house is cooling beautifully again, and we are incredibly grateful for his quick response and excellent service. I highly recommend Arthur to anyone who wants an honest, knowledgeable HVAC technician who genuinely cares about solving the problem. We will definitely be calling him again in the future!

I highly recommend Art's HVAC to anyone looking for dependable heating and cooling services. Great company and great people!

I contacted Manny's Heating & Air Conditioning, and they were very responsive. Jerry from Manny's Heating & Air Conditioning was very professional and knowledgeable who diagnosed the problem within about 15 minutes, explained the repair clearly, asked for permission before performing each step, and verified the temperature and operation afterward. One important detail: my HVAC is a rooftop packaged unit with indoor access only through a master bedroom walk in closet. There are no building stairs to the roof, so the technician must bring a ladder and climb about 11 feet indoors. This unusual setup made it difficult for me to find a company willing to handle the access, but Manny's was able to take care of it without any issues. It has been 10 days since the repair, and the air conditioner is running normally again. The repair came with a standard 90 day warranty, but honestly the quality of the work mattered more to me than the warranty. I recommend this company.

5 stars for Kevin!…read more Our AC unit suddenly wasn't cooling, so we contacted the business, and Kevin was able to come out within just 2 hours! He was super friendly and attentive, and he even kept us updated with his ETA, which was definitely a huge plus and very helpful. When he arrived, he did a diagnostic on the unit. It turned out the pressure was perfectly fine, and all we needed to do was change the filter because it was extremely dirty and was causing the AC to not blow cool air. Here's the crazy part: my fiancé had called another company the night before, and their technician gave us a $1,100 quote for "high maintenance" on the unit. I showed the quote to Kevin, and he was completely honest with us and told us that our AC was working perfectly fine and that we didn't need any of those services! I'm honestly so glad I called Kevin. As someone who doesn't know much about AC systems, it's easy to feel pressured into paying for services you may not actually need. This experience was a great reminder to always get a second (or even third) opinion. As for Kevin, you can absolutely trust his honesty, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help. We didn't even ask him to get the filters for us since Home Depot was just around the corner, but he was so kind that he stopped by later and dropped off the filters for us! Highly recommended! We're definitely saving his contact information for any future AC repairs.

They originally booked me for Saturday but told me they would call if an earlier appointment became available. To my surprise, they contacted me the very next day because of a cancellation. Our technician, Fabian, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He took the time to explain what was causing the issue and also educated us on the importance of routine A/C maintenance to help prevent future problems. I really appreciated that he answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed. The entire experience, from scheduling to the repair, was excellent. It's hard to find a company that's responsive, honest, and reliable, but this one exceeded our expectations. We will definitely continue using them for all of our future heating and air conditioning needs. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed with Southwest HVAC…read more I called Southwest HVAC in April to have my AC serviced before summer because I have a newborn at home and wanted to make sure our system was reliable before the hot weather hit. I specifically took the initiative to have the unit maintained ahead of time because keeping my family comfortable and safe was a priority. During that visit, Southwest HVAC charged me $1,000 for a capacitor and a hard-start kit. I thought the price was extremely high, but I agreed to pay it because I trusted that I was paying for professional service and, more importantly, peace of mind that my AC would be ready for the summer. Fast-forward ONLY FIVE MONTHS and my AC won't even turn on. Naturally, I called Southwest HVAC expecting them to stand behind the work they had performed just five months earlier. Instead, I was told I would have to pay another $100 diagnostic fee just for them to come out and look at the system. That's what I find completely unacceptable. You charged me $1,000 to service and repair my AC, and less than five months later the system isn't even turning on--and your response is essentially, "Pay us another $100 and we'll take a look." If you are going to charge customers premium prices for HVAC work, I expect a reasonable level of accountability when the equipment fails shortly after you serviced it. I shouldn't have to pay another fee simply to find out whether the work I already paid you $1,000 for was done properly or whether the components you installed have failed. The timing is especially frustrating because I specifically had this work done BEFORE summer precisely so I wouldn't end up in this situation. I have a newborn in the house, and now I'm dealing with a non-functioning AC in the middle of summer after paying this company $1,000 for service only five months ago. $1,000 in April. AC completely dead in September. Another $100 just to get someone to diagnose it. That is not what I consider good customer service, and it certainly isn't what I expected when I paid Southwest HVAC to service my system. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion and comparing prices before giving this company your business. Based on my experience, I am extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the way they handled the situation afterward.
