The All American Steakhouse is my sister's go to when she comes home to visit - and, I love it too! From the minute you walk in, the entry doors are held open for you, and you are greeted warmly by the staff - all the way until you are seated. The food is very affordable, and they always offer specials- early-bird and regular 2for $20, happy hour and weekday dinners too. Their fajitas are the best in town ((that's saying a LOT considering the Annapolis area has about ten Mexican restaurants to choose from - they arrive on a sizzling plate, and have just the right amount of veggies and meat - so fresh! Love the burgers, the steaks (bourbon street Delmonico - so tender and tasty!), and their wedge salad! Service is also excellent considering the young staff there - they must have a great training program! The managers always stop by tables to make sure you're being looked after, they sure work hard! The appetizer was the fried cauliflower bites. Bites were good and served hot. Wedge salad was okay. Raspberry teas are sweet, little more raspberry sugar than tea though. 2 of 3 steaks were good cooked medium, the 3rd was like shoe leather and fatty, left it on the plate. The broccoli was cold, so I left it behind. Service is good, very nice people all around. The restroom is clean but needs soap refills. Visited for the first time w my son. The atmosphere is sports bar with 80s music playing which is my absolute favorite. I was singing along with all the songs feeling like a 18 yr old again. The food was meh. I ordered the coconut shrimp cuz I wasn't THAT hungry. It was a large size but the coconut coating was chewy instead of crunchy and the side sauce was pretty thick n sweet; should have been thinner and more like a sweet chilly sauce. The service was great, the waitress was A1, attentive without annoying. The only thing I did it like was when we were seated and I grabbed the side of the table to slide in the booth seat, tthere was something sticky on the underside which grossed me out. That needs to be addressed, pls take a hot hot rag and some cleanser and thoroughly clean the sides of the tables please. That really put a damper on the experience. Will I return? Hidden gem alert....finally I've tried All American Steakhouse...it took a while...I mean this particular location gets a lot of traffic...I decided to try this restaurant on a random Wednesday, lucky for me there was no wait. The 5 of us were easily seated, and quickly served. The menu is pretty diverse...for some reason I felt like a kid again at chilis so I randomly ordered the steak fajitas....it was my sons turn to order the appetizers and would you believe it if I told you AAS has some pretty decent calamari? It was my youngest bday dinner and the ice cream sundae they provided was indeed the size of his entire head. Several managers stopped by and I was sure to let them know it was my first time...surprisingly they were happy to have new customers...I left with a please return appetizer gift card. My friends and I meet at the steakhouse every Monday for their happy hour and prime time specials. We absolutely love Makayla and Sierra behind the bar! However as of lately, we have had poor interactions with one of the managers. 2 Mondays ago, I witnessed a very unprofessional interaction with the manager Kourtney and bartender/server Sierra. She asked a question and Sierra replied politely with a smile on her face. Sierra then followed up with a question (for further understanding) and the manager snapped back in a very degrading tone while rolling her eyes and walking away. I thought this was extremely rude and unprofessional. Now to this past Monday. My friends and I sat at the bar, had drinks and dinner and were chatting. Manager, Kourtney comes over behind the bar, opens the dishwasher then proceeds to speak to the other bartenders. She then turns around and sees a small cloud of steam coming out of the dishwasher and yells at my group of friends to not vape inside... But we never were...? It was from the dishwasher she JUST opened. After we paid our bill, we make our way outside to the parking lot, checking out a friends new mustang. This manager Kourtney proceeds to follow us out and walk around us in the parking lot. Lasted a good 3 min before she went back into the building. She is just rude. She walks around looking so miserable and snapping at the staff. Some of which are high school students! I'm not sure what this managers issue is, but our group of 5 can gladly find a different Monday meet up spot if this is how managers treat employees and regular customers. My wife and I recently went here for the first time in a long time and rediscovered this gem. I've gone 3 times in the last week trying a different dish each time. Each meal was exceptional! Generous portions (especially for the price) and the food was excellent (love the bread, too). We were there for lunch and sat in the restaurant portion. From the moment we walked in to the time we left the customer service was impeccable. The bread that came to the table was fresh, nice and hot. The cauliflower bites were perfectly seasoned and my burger was super delicious. The broccoli was streamed just right. My husband had ordered pork chops and found that they were a little over cooked from being medium butt the favor was outstanding. The manager walked over and asked how they were. My husband told him a little overcooked, delicious though. We were not expecting this excellent customer service and it truly shows how much they care about the customer and their experience. The steaks taste good but the devil is in the details. We ordered the cowboy cut steak and there was an obvious notch taken from the top end, and the steak was not 18oz, actually around the same size as the 14oz ribeyes so I suppose the cowboy steak's $6 price difference just pays for the bone. If this had not been a takeout order I would have spoken to the manager. This happened once a few years back when they had porterhouses and only gave me the strip side and had cut away the filet side. I won't be getting any more of these cuts, they aren't worth it. Mushroom marsala was supposed to be on the side for one of the ribeyes, and we received cups of what tasted like slightly seasoned butter sauce. No marsala flavor and no mushrooms other than the separate sauteed mushrooms that were ordered as a side. Crab dip quality has gone down, they used to have better lump crab in it but now it's just flakes here and there. read more

So the meal overall was just ok, but the part that was shocking, was that we were charged a $2 per meal up charge for blackening seasoning. That's $4 on a $47 bill. The server gave us the list of specials, including the prices for each. When she asked when we ordered if we wanted it blackened, there was no mention of an up charge, and I would never think to ask if there was a charge for spices! Ironically, a gentleman who we assumed was a manager, came to our table several times joking with us because we asked for bread, and he jokingly said that will be $8 for the bread and $4 for the butter...on two occasions!! What a great place. The wait staff was spot on and truly made you feel at home. It's a typical steakhouse vibe but better with more local flair. They have a great bar as well with plenty of drink options and giant screens for the big games or fights. Now their menu has a lot of great choices from steaks to burgers to plethora of chicken choices and great appetizers to boot. I chose the full rack of baby back ribs with a side of coleslaw and a loaded bake potatoe and it was spot on. The ribs were fall of the bone tender and not overly sauce and the coleslaw had great crunch the potato was a little lack luster it could have had just a little better portions on the toppings. My nieces both had 6 oz petite filets both cooked to protection one with broccoli and the other had the French onion soup and both loaded mashed potatoes. I have eaten here a number of times throughout the years; most recently, three times in three months. They have changed names and ownership, but it has always been a steakhouse. Four of us met here last Friday night for drinks and dinner, resulting in another miss. The place is always busy and on the weekends has a waiting list. We had reservations and they seated us on time after we had drinks at the bar. The staff was friendly as always, but our waitress would not bring us items that we requested, until we repeated the request. She also would disappear for long spells extending the wait. We ordered three steaks and one order of pork chops. Two of the steaks were not cooked properly and had to be returned. The medium rare pork chops arrived well done, then very rare and finally medium rare. The manager did come by and apologize, which is appreciated.
