Angry Egg This is a very small restaurant with quite a few rules to follow, but don't let that stop you! I visited several months ago while traveling for work, and since I'm always on the hunt for a hot breakfast with good service, this spot stood out. The service was great, and the food did not disappoint. I ordered the Breakfast Sammie, which was delicious! I also love that it's a small, family-owned business--definitely worth supporting. A must-try if you're in the area!

I came here with a friend on a Friday around 11am. We were seated right away which was surprising since this place is pretty small. Our server was a delight! He was friendly and efficient. That makes such a difference when going out to eat. We ordered the egg nog coffee which we were told had no sweetener or alcohol but it had a nice smell of rum and tasted good. I ordered the Mediterranean scramble. It was absolutely delicious and they did not skimp on the Kalamata olives. The sweet potato cake on top gave a unique sweetness to this savory dish. We stayed until just before closing at 2pm talking and enjoying our coffee. All customers and staff seemed pleasant during our visit. Nobody angry here except that cute little egg on their logo! I felt comfortable here and look forward to coming back soon.

This breakfast sammich really hit the spot. Home fries were savory and well-cooked. It looks like something I would prepare at home. The service was very friendly and polite and the interior was small and comforting. For a restaurant called the Angry Egg, it does bring joy to its guests.

Parking: street parking but normally a bunch of places Decor: traditional owner operated diner...perfect if you love mom and pops diners like I do!! Staff: very friendly and eager to be of service but not in your face either Food: this is where the one start went, pancake was mushy in the middle (see pics). Did not eat all of it and they took off the bill but still have to be transparent to my followers. Price: very well priced and would suggest checking this place out. Overall: I will be going back to try something else on the menu so more to come.

What a pleasant surprise, stopped in with a friend around the holidays and as if it was a hallmark movie, it started snowing, setting a lovely mood. The food was fresh and satisfying, servers pleasant without hovering and went above and beyond. Street parking was fine and should not deter anyone from enjoying this quaint breakfast spot.

Nice place with good food! My only wish was that it was bigger! They were so busy! We got there at the right time and only waited a few minutes but had to wait outside and it was cold! But the staff was nice about it and we had a really nice waitress. Food portions were large! Food was delicious! I had the waffle sammich. I have picture of my friends meals but I can't remember what they got! Other than some GIANT blueberry pancakes!

"Ooh, I know what you're doing I know where you've been, but I don't care 'Cause there's a-no such thing as an original sin I'm not angry" (Elvis Costello) Before I write one word about this morning's breakfast experience, let me ask you a question. Isn't the Angry Egg's logo of an enraged egg menacingly wielding a spatula (as though it was a machete) one of the very coolest logos you've ever seen? Anyway, we had a FANTASTIC breakfast experience today. First of all, they had three different coffee choices -regular, dark or flavored, which today was butter pecan. Coffees are $2.75. We sat in one of their 8 or so booths, met our terrific server Janna, sipped our coffees and studied their enormous breakfast menu. Breakfast is served until the 2:00 closing and lunch is also served from 11 to closing. I ordered three poached eggs ($4.50) and a side of Angry Hash ($5.50). I couldn;t have been happier with my choice. The eggs were perfect and the hash was one of the most delicious versions I've ever had. It was loaded with peppers, onions, potatoes, jalapenos, and plenty of ham, sausage and kielbasa chunks. Janaasked if I wanted anything with my meal, and when I asked for hot sauce, she asked "What kind, we have four choices". I went with the Cholua which is awesome. My wife went to the pancake section and ordered a full stack. This was 4 pancakes for $9 as opposed to a short stack of 2 pancakes for $7. She added on chocolate chips for a measly $2 more. Now I can't tell you how freaking massive that full stack was. They covered the entire area of a full sized plate and seemed to be an inch and a half tall. Since the difference between a short and full stack is just $2, I have no earthly idea why anyone wouldn't splurge for the full, and take home half of the order like we did. Our magnificent breakfast was $28.45 after tax and before tip. We were far from Angry when we left, in fact we were totally satisfied.

I can here because it was recommend from some coworkers. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the entire experience. When I went to order my meal I was then instructed I can not be in the restaurant and they will call me once my order is ready. Their deliverance with telling me was awful and they were very rude. I waited for over 30 minutes for avocado toast and this is what I received. Toast with no avocado and my eggs not fully cooked. I was very disappointed. Due to the long wait and the staff being rude I did not even go back to correct my order. I wouldn't go back again!

Saturday morning after we had a day of recovery after the comedy of errors of travel to CT that we had Thursdays evening, we found this cute little spot that we just had to try. Luckily we timed it in such a way that we were able to be seated quickly in a booth just by the bar. The decor was so much fun, with the various signs that we related to, especially the hangry one :). After perusing the menu we finally decided on our bunch meals, an egg sandwich, the egg bowl, and the Mediterranean scramble. Plus a last minute order to try the breakfast corndog, because I was so curious. And it totally paid off, I should have ordered more for breakfast! The batter was the pancake or waffle batter that was fried perfectly and with the maple syrup made an amazing corndog! The egg bowl and Mediterranean scramble were both amazing. Our friend ordered the scramble and loved it! The egg bowl was prefect with my perfectly cooked over-easy eggs. The egg sammich was larger than expect but also delicious. We barely left anything on our plates. Everything was amazing and we all wished there was something similar back home. A delicious and fun place to be!

I have lived in Manchester for a very long time, yet this is my first time visiting The Firestone…read more I don't know what took me so long to try this place. It's a painting, an arts and craft, a bakery, and a coffee shop. Great place for friends to get together and spend quality time, with great refreshment. They make their own bread, Cheddar scallion scones, chocolate chip cookies, sandwiches, and many other items. My favorites are the different coffees and teas. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, both with the food service and the arts. What a gem to have on Main Street.

Surprisingly good food in a pottery painting place…read more Been meaning to review this place for a while. Each time I'd go in, see no one around, then left. This last attempt, there was a bunch of staff around so I got the full experience. The staff were very friendly and informative. They explained the pottery painting side of things to anyone painting a piece. They had a wealth of knowledge in that regard, explaining how to get the best results for each medium. I wasn't here for the pottery, I was here for the food. So they sat at a 4 top and let me go up to the cafe to order. The menu is basic, egg sandwiches, avocado toast, French toast, coffees and lattes. Some fresh baked pastries available but mostly simple dishes. I opted for their French toast latte and an egg sandwiches with bacon. Also got a cinnamon roll that was baked that morning. Food came out after a few minutes. Not speedy but not slow. Took some pics and dug in. There's a fundamental rule that I follow when reviewing. "The flavors on the description need to match the flavors of the dish." There's sandwich did this exemplary. The garlic aoli had a strong but slightly acidic bite to it, which helped the arugula's bitterness. The egg was fluffy, the tomato grilled and salted, and the bacon perfectly crispy. The soft home made bread was almost too soft, compressing down to nothing after each bite. If anything, the bread could've been grilled to give it a bit more structure. But besides that gripe, it's one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The latte, that's what took the star off. The coffee is giv beans, so a good quality product. The problem was it was extremely, overbearingly bitter. With a French toast latte, you'd expect the sweet to counteract the bitter. But nope, the sweet came from the cold foam and the concentrated coffee at the base led to straight sips of cringingly bitter coffee. After mixing the cold foam into the coffee, it became more bearable. But the damage was done by that point, and my pallet was shot. Had to dump most of the coffee. Overall, it's a neat place to go to. It's rare to have activities along with good food, and the staff there make the experience great. Not too much a fan of the specialty coffee, but the food is well worth the price. A solid food choice for Main Street.

The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The pickle chips batter was very thick, and the mayo was the only respite. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. I know things are pricier now, but what you pay vs what you get doesn't match up. I'm hoping they pivot from this path, but right now it's no longer my go-to. It's still tasty, just pricy

While I'll usually go for that particular sandwich, my most recent visit was for the 'Old School' Philly Cheesesteak (with the cheese whiz) Having eaten here dozens of times I've never gotten a bad meal here. The chicken teriyaki is particularly good but they do everything they offer well. Ingredients are fresh and prepared to order right in front of you so you know what you're getting. Not saying I've never had someone make a mistake and it's usually when they're very busy they get it right more often than not. I'm not a 'fries' person but the options they offer are very good as well. The old school cheesesteak was not really like a lot of others I've had (including ones in Philly) but it is very good. It's a nice changeup from the regular versions they have which are all very good as well. The menu is limited but there's enough variety on it that I could eat here more than once a week. Good food, good service, 4 1/2 stars!
