Friendly service with great food and coffee! We were so impressed with how nice and helpful all the servers were and how delicious the food was. We ordered the egg bowl, an egg roll, and the I'm hangry. Everything was very delicious but in particular I was impressed with the pancakes that came with the I'm hangry. They were so flavorful (had a hint of cinnamon perhaps?) and fluffy and were insanely good, especially when paired with the maple syrup. We also ordered the Irish cream coffee which was very good! This is my absolute breakfast place! Liz, Steve and her amazing staff do such an incredible job of making us feel so special, welcome and appreciated every time me and my family walk through the door! We got there for 10am and only had to wait a few minutes outside before getting seated. The waitress was very friendly and came to take our order quickly. Stopped in for breakfast on Sunday before the Comics and Toy Show at the Army Navy Club across the street. A "Too Many Beni" special was listed on the board for $16. I asked to order the "regular" Eggs Beni (from the menu - $13) but was told I could only get the special one. What? Why? The waiter could not explain why, nor could he explain the difference between the "Too Many Beni" and the regular one. (Obvious difference is $3). Cheers to a brand new "Eggciting" restaurant called The Angry Egg downtown Manchester at 1095 Main Street (across the street from the Army & Navy Club.) The owners' Steve and Liz Hall really know how to treat their customers with super hospitality ,great service and yummy food. I had already eaten breakfast prior to my arrival at 11 AM ,So I decided to enjoy a house salad which had lots of greens ,cucumbers ,sliced carrots,chickpeas,shaved Parmesan topped off with their house made Lemon balsamic dressing!For three dollars more I upgraded my salad by ordering their chicken salad, which were huge cube size pieces of seasoned chicken that tasted delicious -complementing my salad. Their service was very good and I was fortunate enough to meet The brand new owners as well. Super nice people and I do wish him a lot of success in the future. A couple other highlights to mention is that breakfast is served all day and lunch is served beginning at 11 AM. The restaurants motto is come hangry, leave happy! And next time I can't wait to try their BLT because their thick cut bacon is supplied by Bogner's in Manchester. And lastly don't forget they're open every day except for Monday. A group of us (4) came here for brunch and we really liked the place a lot. There was a slight wait on a Saturday at 10, but there was some self serve coffee to tide us over as we waited. As far as the food we got, I shared with a friend who sat across from me. We got the eggs Benedict, the angry egg sandwich, a scrambled egg wrap, and a side of angry hash. The eggs Benedict was not particularly impressive, coming with a slice of bacon on each face. The eggs were cooked correctly, but the presentation was a little lacking. The egg sandwich though, that was really worth trying. I got my egg over easy and with the chipotle mayo, the sandwich was just perfect! The other impressive part was the angry hash, little crispy potato pieces were seasoned just right and the little sausage and kielbasa pieces made it so savory and delicious! My wife and I visited the Angry Egg on a Sunday morning at 9am. We were sat ourselves with no wait and were quickly offered menu's and a look at the special board. My wife had gotten the Greek omelet which came with a side of home fries and she ordered a coffee. She tends to like shredded hash browns that are grilled, but these were cubed so she was not a big fan. Normally when we both go and she does not like something I give it a three star rating. In this case mine was so amazing I felt like I had to give it 5 stars. I got this home fried potato pountine. Now it doesn't come with gravy like the originals (not that I have ever had an original) but it was home fries, with a fancy cheese sauce, not too cheesy and too much, to overwhelm the dish, topped with two over easy eggs. The waitress asked if I need anything else and I said franks hot sauce, to which she replied I was just one of many customers that requested it, but it had not yet come in. OR WAIT did it, she managed to comeback with a side of Franks Hot Sauce, which took a dish from really good to GREAT! Was driving down main street and saw they were open. I'm so tried of cooking at home after a month of shelter at home and thought a carry out breakfast would be great. This place is delicious! The sweet potato hash brown had just the right amount of sweet/salty combo. The I'm Hangry platter is huge and the pancakes are as big as plates! Definitely enough for 2 meals. We stopped at the Angry Egg on the way home from Manchester, CT. They were so busy that they had a waiting list (a small place). It was packed and now we know why! The food was delicious, service was great and very affordable. My only warning is that they have a meal called "I'm Hungry". The Turkey sausage tasted like a greasy paper bag The English muffin was the best thing on the plate and it arrived 10 minutes after the other food. My daughter had the Belgian waffles which were done before any of our food and sat on the counter for 30 minutes. So when they brought the rest of the food, the waffle was ice cold. Unfortunately, it seems the staff at The Angry Egg have truly taken the name to heart and are angry people as well, in particular the hostess. Having heard many positive things about this place, I was eagerly looking forward to eating at The Angry Egg. We arrived at 9:00 on a weekday and there were already a few people waiting outside for a table. I wrote my name on the waiting list hoping for the best. After 20 minutes I was called and told our table was ready. The waitress was very pleasant and took our orders promptly. The food arrived about 25 minutes later. I had the Egg Bowl- 3 eggs on top of hash browns and a mixture of meats and veggies. It was quite tasty. My only complaint- the pieces of potato were pretty large, but the pieces of meat were tiny crumbles- you really couldn't taste distinctly the meats in the dish. The food ordered by the other people in my party also looked good. Overall- though there is nothing about this place that distinguishes it from many other breakfast joints I have visited, it certainly serves good food that will fill you up and leave you smiling! read more

I feel like they are very much overrated. I ordered takeout from here and was disappointed in how long the wait was just to get that order - 45 minutes. They didn't look packed but they were busy. I got the food and brought it to a friends and it was good. But I had heard that this was THE PLACE for brunch and good breakfast and just couldn't see why. I will say the meats were fantastic (I had bacon and my friend had sausage) and I found that it was from a local meat place so that did make me happy. But overall it just didn't live up to the hype. Today is Mother's Day (5/9/21) & I was disappointed with the fact that they decided to leave the door open the entire time & their little restaurant was an ice box! It was so uncomfortable and when I asked our waiter he thought it was fine. It was 55 degrees and windy n when that breeze flows in, it's not good. It's why I eat inside and not outside. I'll wait till Summer to revisit..hope the screen door is at least closed to keep the flies out. Food is good n customer service but that door needs to be closed. Was in area decided to check it out. Cute place friendly people. Didnt try the coffee so have no comment on it. Ordered juice came in a tropicana bottle different from what we are use to but no problem. My kids ordered 2 scrambled eggs with toast, My wife noticed that all toasted bread looked like it had mole all over it. Never seen anything like this before so we basically ended it there. The other food we got omelette and samwich where very grease with barely any taste thank god for the hot sauce that made the difference. Also glad my kids dont eat the bread until after the eggs are done or else we would have freaked out and got up and left. I advise you check out your bread before you eat it and or food. Disappointed. Had to wait to be seated then had to wait a long time to have our order taken. Then wait again for it to be served with missing things like one side and no lettuce on a BLT. No one came to refill our coffees. They scolded someone for bringing in a bottle of water? We all asked for water and had to wait for that. On top of all this gratuity was included in the bill? Surprised and disappointed I told someone about it who used to eat at this restaurant often.
