I purchased a 2002 Tahoe from The Auto Sheriff on 3/15/16 and for only 500 dollars down with zero credit at 19 years old. I was very impressed how my age and small stature didn't affect the way I was treated as a client.Being new to the adult world of car buying the Co owner Mr. Paul, worked with me on not having any credit and wanting a big reliable safe vehicle for the snowy days. with only 500 dollars down i was able to drive off the lot in a very nice truck to last me for years to come with proper care and maintenance. From the minute I walked through the door i was surrounded by a family friendly environment with caring employees. There many pictures of satisfied customers on there walls. I was actually told that of the many pictures that lined the walls, there were many more recent one that have yet to be put up. My Tahoe has over 200,000 miles on it and has yet to give me any form of problem or give any form of hint that further care would be required on it in the future. As a young adult buying his first mature vehicle for life to come, I highly recommend The Auto Sheriff to everyone. There employees will work with you for any vehicle you are trying to purchase with a can-do attitude. I personally know friends and relatives who have purchased vehicles from The Auto Sheriff (a 2005 ford focus) (a 2002 PT Cruiser) ( a 2006 Dodge grand caravan) all vehicles required new tires but for practically new cars with little to no problems after being tested in the hard Denver weather. When I was there at the dealership buying my Lexus GS I had the very uncomfortable experience of witnessing a super angry, belligerent, and border line inappropriate previous customer go nuts. That upset customer was cussing, yelling, and causing a mess because the vehicle he bought had developed some mechanical issues that needed repair. Of course I would not be too happy if the same thing happened to me (and I do not know the entire story, nor do I want to) but as an independent business owner myself I do understand that a mad pissed off customer can sometimes handle situations very wrong. One thing I heard this scorned person tell the salesman was how they were going to get online and continue to make horrible reviews on all social media until he was happy. This really bothered me, not the fact that he was going to exercise his freedom of speech, but like in most businesses when someone goes out of their way to leave a review or to "word-of-mouth" a company 9 out of 10 times it's negative. So I just wanted to take time out and say I appreciate the great deal that I got and I would most definitely recommend buying here. I bought an old 1999 Audi A4 and really liked the car, it test drove well. Unfortunately after I bought it, the car overheated on the way home due to a small crack in the radiator. I really want to thank this dealership for how they handled the situation. I was not blaming them for any of the flaws on this old Audi but sitting there on the highway on the side of traffic my temperature was overheated just as my newly purchased car's was. So I admit that first call back to the dealership I didn't start off to pleasant. What happened did surprise me! They sent their tow guy to get me right away, wow. Not only that but when we finally got back to their shop they offer to get me into a different car with the same price as mine. Honestly, I wanted my Audi and once things cooled down (my head and car) we came to the decision that the issue would just get fixed. Another surprise was that they helped pay for half of the radiator cost. I didn't like that I had to wait almost a week for the part and install but they outsource their mechanical work so I think they did their best. read more

Awful business. The entire staff are con artists. Bought a Benz and a day later it throws check engine light for transmission problems also the brakes were lubed for my sale so that they sounded nice and decent but again a day later my brakes are squealing like a bat out of hell. Went back to try and return was told I could take 2500 out of the 4500 back or I could have 2900 towards another car, which I don't want so I left for the day. Came back the next day and asked for the 2500 and they refused me and proceeded to get physical with me in they're parking lot. BAD BAD PEOPLE AND WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY. Thanks for reading this please spread the awareness. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHO IS HONEST AND FAIR!!!! We drove 25 miles to see the Auto Sheriff. So happy that I had my grandson drive me all the way across the Bay in all this traffic. I had my own financing approval through USAA. I could basically buy any car they had on their lot which was great because I had more than 30 vehicles to choose from and they were all in my 4 to 9 thousand dollar approval range. I couldn't help myself and I bought a beautiful cadillac with very low miles for a 2005. I enjoyed the entire process. It felt like I was just hanging out with some good hard working people. That is why I am making this review for them. It's hard to start your own business so I hope I can help people see that you have very good honest prices and great selection of cars. Buying from these guys started off a little frustrating because their hours stated that they were open on Sat until 7pm. So I show up at 6:15 and no one is there and the place looks abandoned. I call the number basically to tell the auto sheriff he lost a customer but whoa from the start I really appreciated how calm, cool, and collected Thomas was. He kept me on the hook and showed up in like 5 minutes just to try to keep me as a customer and he said no matter if he sold me the van he was going to impress me and have me leave without a chip on my shoulder. Well, after that the vehicle spoke for itself - great condition, low miles, and an offer I couldn't refuse. I went in for a job but ended up buying a car. I really like the cars they have to offer, unfortunately I could only afford a super cheap one. I have had a few problems with my car but in fairness I knew what I was getting for only 1900 dollars and their sales staff was upfront, honest, and did not hide things about the car and act like it was perfect. I went to them because they had several cars under $3000. I bought a car for my daughter and she couldnt be happier. Very refreshing to walk into a car dealership and not feel pressured by a salesman. They even offered to show us the Carfax reports on the cars we liked. The guys there are very friendly, and the old western theme was nice. It is definately different from all the dealerships I've been to in the past. I couldn't finance a toaster from the flea market, but they got me financing for a nice vehicle with only $700 down. they are some straight shooters, they don't lie and pretend like a vehicle will last forever and be perfect but they will let you test drive and take the car to get inspected if you would like.
