Way more than a cafe. Incredible bar and Local Craft beer selection! Locally owned and operated. Great food.

I just love this place! This was my second visit, and it did not disappoint. Granted, we have a connection with owners and bartender, but I doubt anyone would receive any less wonderful service and excellent food/drink. We weren't originally going to have food on this stop, but time ticked away and we needed a snack. "Best nachos I've ever had," said my husband, and I would agree. The chips were fresh and crispy, topped with refried beans and a whole bunch of other deliciousness. The hubby ate the last little bite. Ambience is top notch. The people and the food will keep you coming back!

We had a lovely, fresh, healthy lunch here- just what I was hoping for! Several seating areas: bar, inside tables, street, back patio. Host/waiter was pleasant and attentive to a lot of diners. My salad with salmon was much enjoyed. Companion had the chicken curry salad sandwich.

Our son was having a melt down as we came here but the hostess was great with him, got him to come actually sit with us lol. Food was great and it was nice sitting outside. Right on main street in Oneonta I'd recommend it.

    Dust all over table.

Very rude staff. Dust was falling from ceiling fan into food and they did not offer to clean table or change our table. DOES NOT HAVE AC either waiter smelled of bad bio.

Great little cafe style restaurant with amazing specials. This place has a very eclectic approach to assembling each entrée. The Pan seared Halibut over a bed of asparagus in the creamy curry sauce was delicious and the scallops over veggie risotto my friend got look amazing as well. Beer selection is also good in addition to full bar. Can't wait to come back in summer to sit on their back patio.

Interesting place different food enjoyed it and service was excellent. I wish we had more time because I'd like to go there again but I don't think we'll be back in town.

It's been awhile since I have brunched at The Autumn. My husband and I went this morning and it was delicious! We both had eggs Benedict. His with steak and mine with the pork belly. Our breakfasts were absolutely delectable--exquisite! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals--each came with a side of roasted potatoes, asparagus and tomatoes--yum! All cooked perfectly. Additionally my husband had a Bloody Mary. His favorite drink to accompany a most delicious meal. We highly recommended The Autumn--it's a gem and the atmosphere is perfect. If my review doesn't convince you, the photos should!

Each chair has a name engraved on the bar in front of it. From this, I knew this would be a friendly place. This is a family owned and operated business. The dad greeted us warmly and manned the bar. The mom was the chef who made wonderful, homemade food like you'd expect from your grandma. Their son was helping out in kitchen. We met and chatted with them all. The food - yummy!! Local, fresh and made with love. I had meatloaf sandwich. Great taste. My fave was my son's BBQ pulled pork which was smoked for 12 hours behind the restaurant. The side of mac and cheese out of this world I had potato wedges topped with cheese, bacon and scallions. So good. Best part - I had rented a hotel that was 45 Min from Cooperstown. Oops. The dad and two other locals eating at bar helped me tremendously in finding new lodging. They gave me Many options. Turns out I rented a beautiful house on the owners' property up a small Hill. They said I could pay them after my stay. I'm from Detroit so this small town trust warmed my heart.

We had dinner prior to our reservations, so we didn't get a chance to try the food although the menu that was in a folded binder was lit when it opened a very cool little feature. The drink menu could've been a little bit more extensive for their specialty drinks, however, they had what seemed like hundreds of liquor options for you to make your own or to choose something on the rocks.
