I thought this spot was pretty good. Service is kinda sketchy- we felt bad/guilty about being there the whole time- but I know they're popular and it's hard to deal with tons of people! The food was awesome. Great nachos, bf got steak tips, they had good beer on draft. Friendly patrons, actually good fresh jalapeños on the nachos- good. Major downfall was the bathroom- toilet paper fail. Just unfortunate. Maybe I hit them on a bad night? Who knows. Great food! Pee elsewhere!

Ended this beautiful day with a great early dinner. We haven't been here in a few months. The food was amazing as always. Best fried pickles. Rick had their famous fish and chips. They are lightly battered and amazing fries. I opted for a the blackened chicken with sun dried tomatoes and a cream sauce. Pasta was cooked to perfection. The chicken was not overly spiced and was extremely tender. Food here is always delicious and consistent delicious.

The Reuben without bread was totally delicious! The bread wasn't missed!

My husband had the day off today and we wanted to do something relaxing without having to deal with July 4th weekend crowds, so we did some antiquing in the Cornish area followed by lunch at the Back Burner. We both ordered the Reuben, but since they don't currently offer gluten-free bread I ordered mine without it, unsure how that would turn out. It was FANTASTIC! I had a plate full of homemade corned beef, purple cabbage sauerkraut which had hints of sweetness and very tasty melted Swiss on top. Also on my plate were delicious hand cut french fries done just right. I didn't miss having bread. My husband loved his, too, and liked that his bread had gone through a sandwich press. All of that for only $10 a plate! Service is quick, friendly and the inside is still charming as can be and very clean.

Good grub at a fun spot. If you happen to be passing through Brownfield it's a good spot to get a bite & a drink.

Busy and bustling restaurant and local bar. Neat promo of passing out next weeks menu to keep the locals coming back. We started with haddock bites to share, as well as the tomato/mozzarella app. My group of New Yorker young adults raised on Bronx Italian/Arthur Ave influencers loved it. We each had different drinks utilizing the beer, wine and cocktail menus and had entrees including fish, all the taco varieties (my largely vegetarian daughter enjoyed her falafel tacos very much). My generous baked haddock serving will last me at least three meals and the cous cous salad and roasted zucchini were delicious and a nice modern spin on the classic Maine dish typically served without greens and often too heavy and rich potatoes. Our server was super busy, but obviously so was the kitchen, but it gave us time to revisit the interesting beverage lists again. Highly recommend as a stop in enjoying the River, North Conway or the upcoming Fair. I'd love to go back!

It is located in Maine but was only around 15minutes away as Conway is at the border. The establishment is located in small town of Fryeburg and has plaza with some parking available. Place seemed pretty busy when we came but luckily we were able to be seated right-away. Inside is spacious and looks like a tavern with interesting mix of sports, arcade, hunting and seafood decorations. There is also live lobster in water tank. We ordered some raw bar with dozen oysters, dozen clams, and 1/2 lb shrimp. The oyster was good size and flavorful. Shrimp was large and great as well. Clam was a bit smaller and was not as good as the others. We also got some bang bang shrimp and 1lb boiled lobster. The bang bang shrimp was pretty good. Pretty much what i expected in terms of flavor. Boiled lobster was tasty. Nicely boiled and relatively easy to deshell. Overall the food was good. Service was good and the staff were attentive. Overall it's a solid place for seafood/Mexican fusions. They also do live music on Wednesday and do special offer for Mondays through Thursday i.e Oysters half off on Monday. Seems like a bar where locals come hang out and grab food and drinks. Price was definitely on higher side. With exception to Shrimps which were actually not too bad comparatively as they were 2.50 each or $25 for 1 lb.

This place was recommended by an older local couple that we love to visit every time we come to the area First of all, GENEROUS wine pours. I was happily shocked and buzzed after one glass of Malbec. Second, the servings of food are not small. We noticed other tables taking their leftovers in to-go containers. Baby, we're not in Kansas anymore (NYC). And lastly, the food is so fresh and delicious--the menu changes seasonally and is sourced from local farms, of course! Apps: Pan seared scallops over homemade crisp potato cakes, fresh corn puree, and a red pepper coulis--divine. Charred grilled octopus with heirloom tomatoes, cannellini beans, sweet red peppers, castelvetrano olives, and grilled lemon--an absolutely elevated cephalopod. Entrees: Roasted statler chicken with Yukon gold mashed potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts, and cipollini onions surrounded by a garlic white wine pan jus--very mild bird and excellent sauce And my favorite... Filet mignon seared perfectly rare, with mashed potatoes mixed with blue cheese crumbles, wilted greens, more caramelized cipollinis, all topped with a red wine demi glaze We were so well taken care of--the meal, the service, the view!!! We'll happily take another 6 hour drive just to return and do it again. Cheers!

She never came back & ignored us. Definitely NO customer service. Our other bartender made excuses for her then proceeded to bring up his wife & kids - NOBODY IS HITTING ON YOU, my friend & I are actually just friendly and wanted a decent lunch. I ordered chicken nibblets with Jamaican jerk sauce - ZERO spice, ZERO kick, why are you calling it that when there are ZERO Scott bonnets in it?!?! Just odd & totally misleading. Needless to say, we were cordial but couldn't leave fast enough. Skip this place unless you wanna get treated like you don't matter but they'll take your money & rush you out.

We start with a few appetizers both the wings and the potato skins were great. We have had the pizzas, the burgers, both smash and regular and love them both. The turkey club is extra special. We have always sat at the bar and were pleased to meet Tonya, she's a great bartender and even remembered our names which was surprising considering how many people she must meet. It's a great establishment with very friendly employees. A pleasant surprise indeed. We always go home with leftovers and the cocktails have been good. My friend drinks beer (they have quite a selection of both draft and bottles). To date, I have been drinking the raspberry Marguerita's which I have enjoyed.
