    Vegetable lo-mein with blackened chicken.

Another great meal here. There fried homemade pickles are to die for and they give you a ton. I had the vegetable lo-main and added grilled chicken to it. It could have used more vegetables as this portion was much smaller than it handles been on previous visits. The hubby had the 1/2 rack or ribs with just the rub...it was still quite strong with a bite. But over all everything was delicious and service was fantastic. Only complaint...way too cold in the area just past the bar.

I thought this spot was pretty good. Service is kinda sketchy- we felt bad/guilty about being there the whole time- but I know they're popular and it's hard to deal with tons of people! The food was awesome. Great nachos, bf got steak tips, they had good beer on draft. Friendly patrons, actually good fresh jalapeños on the nachos- good. Major downfall was the bathroom- toilet paper fail. Just unfortunate. Maybe I hit them on a bad night? Who knows. Great food! Pee elsewhere!

Ended this beautiful day with a great early dinner. We haven't been here in a few months. The food was amazing as always. Best fried pickles. Rick had their famous fish and chips. They are lightly battered and amazing fries. I opted for a the blackened chicken with sun dried tomatoes and a cream sauce. Pasta was cooked to perfection. The chicken was not overly spiced and was extremely tender. Food here is always delicious and consistent delicious.

The Reuben without bread was totally delicious! The bread wasn't missed!

My husband had the day off today and we wanted to do something relaxing without having to deal with July 4th weekend crowds, so we did some antiquing in the Cornish area followed by lunch at the Back Burner. We both ordered the Reuben, but since they don't currently offer gluten-free bread I ordered mine without it, unsure how that would turn out. It was FANTASTIC! I had a plate full of homemade corned beef, purple cabbage sauerkraut which had hints of sweetness and very tasty melted Swiss on top. Also on my plate were delicious hand cut french fries done just right. I didn't miss having bread. My husband loved his, too, and liked that his bread had gone through a sandwich press. All of that for only $10 a plate! Service is quick, friendly and the inside is still charming as can be and very clean.

Good grub at a fun spot. If you happen to be passing through Brownfield it's a good spot to get a bite & a drink.

We were seated immediately and never rushed. Our beers were cold and our burgers were cooked to perfection. My only complaint is that their Reuben burger is no longer on the menu. Otherwise, a great venue to visit- nice ambiance, good service and great burgers.

The candied jalapeños were unique and outstanding, sweet heat! My girlfriend got the brie and bacon burger after reading the Yelp reviews and it was apparent why it's a favorite. They charged us another $3 for the gluten free bun making the $20 burger cost even more. I go the onion rings and I'd give them 3/5. Not anywhere close to what I would have expected from a burger joint such as this. GF got the sweet potato fries which were also a $2 upcharge making her burger meal cost $25 on its own. The house made maple mayonnaise was supposed to be fore the burger but it went better with the sweet potato fries which I'd rate 5/5. Service was good. They did warn us that it was slow even though the place was practically empty and it was indeed slow but good. It's located in a shopping center and there are some seats available outside. It's a bit dark inside. They have unisex bathrooms at least a couple of them. There's a cool old train in the parking lot that was fun to look at. I would eat here again.

Whether you're winding down after a day on the slopes or simply looking for a hearty meal and good drinks, this spot offers a satisfying evening. Cocktails The cocktail menu impressed, especially the Allagash Blueberry Smash made with maple syrup vodka and fresh blueberries--a creative, flavorful New England twist. Everyone at the table agreed: the cocktails here are a highlight. Rating: 9/10 Entrees - Spicy Texas Brisket Pizza - Brisket, onion, jalapeño, cheddar, mozzarella ($28.75) This was a solid choice with a crispy crust and a good kick of heat from the jalapeños. However, the pizza leaned heavily on cheese and could've used a bit more brisket to balance it out. A great option for sharing--easily split among four people. Rating: 7/10 - The Bear Burger - 8oz Robie Farms beef, white cheddar, bacon, pulled pork, onion ring ($23.75) A beast of a burger in all the right ways. Rich, juicy, and layered with smoky, savory goodness--this one will leave you full and happy. Rating: 9/10 - Potato Crusted Salmon - Served over spinach, topped with honey mustard ($28.75) Sadly, this dish was a miss. The flour taste overpowered the crust, and the texture didn't come together as hoped. Lacked the finesse you'd expect at that price point. Rating: 2/10 - Yankee Pot Roast - Potatoes, carrots, celery ($37.50) The absolute standout of the evening. Hearty, comforting, and packed with flavor--you can tell this dish simmered all day. Tender meat, perfectly cooked veggies. Worth visiting just for this. Rating: 10/10 Desserts We tried the: - NY Style Cheesecake - Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake - Red Velvet Cloud Cake - Warm Apple Crisp Blossom à la mode Each dessert came with ice cream and offered something for every sweet tooth. For me, the Warm Apple Crisp stole the show--comforting and nostalgic with the perfect balance of cinnamon and crunch. Overall Ratings - Food: 8/10 - Cocktails: 9/10 - Affordability: 6/10 (A bit on the pricier side, but portions are generous) - Ambiance: 9/10 (Live music and ski lodge aesthetic made it cozy and fun) Final Thought: If you're staying at the Grand Summit or just passing through Bartlett, The Tap House is definitely worth a visit--especially for the live music, cocktails, the Bear Burger, and that unforgettable Yankee Pot Roast.

It is located in Maine but was only around 15minutes away as Conway is at the border. The establishment is located in small town of Fryeburg and has plaza with some parking available. Place seemed pretty busy when we came but luckily we were able to be seated right-away. Inside is spacious and looks like a tavern with interesting mix of sports, arcade, hunting and seafood decorations. There is also live lobster in water tank. We ordered some raw bar with dozen oysters, dozen clams, and 1/2 lb shrimp. The oyster was good size and flavorful. Shrimp was large and great as well. Clam was a bit smaller and was not as good as the others. We also got some bang bang shrimp and 1lb boiled lobster. The bang bang shrimp was pretty good. Pretty much what i expected in terms of flavor. Boiled lobster was tasty. Nicely boiled and relatively easy to deshell. Overall the food was good. Service was good and the staff were attentive. Overall it's a solid place for seafood/Mexican fusions. They also do live music on Wednesday and do special offer for Mondays through Thursday i.e Oysters half off on Monday. Seems like a bar where locals come hang out and grab food and drinks. Price was definitely on higher side. With exception to Shrimps which were actually not too bad comparatively as they were 2.50 each or $25 for 1 lb.
