Such a cute little spot that I visited for the first time! A friend recommended it to me since she always grabs her bagels here, so we stopped by to pick up her order and decided to get coffee while we were there. I ordered a lavender matcha, and it was so good! They had plenty of other drink flavors and options on the menu too. The drinks were delicious and the gentleman at the front was very kind. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out, and I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

I love coming here so much, the baristas are so kind! I noticed that despite being busy, they still put effort into the food, drinks, and service! Such a strong coffee, in a good way! :)

This was the finest bagel I've ever had in my life. I used to eat bagels everyday when I was in college at UC Berkeley but this is better than Noah's bagels. The bagel is airy yet chewy and crunchy. They give you a lot of cream cheese and even cut your bagel in half. The bagel comes in a little paper container and the staff is super friendly. The bagel is the same price as the smear. It was $6 before tax and tip which is very reasonable. Dining area is also comfortable. This is probably one of the best places to eat in Petaluma.

Exceptional bagelry - the best you can get even past sf area! I love the variety of bagels and sandwiches to choose from, bonus for great drinks as well. The cream cheese and greens bagel is my favorite - packed with delicious sprouts, fresh radish and pickled onions. The bagel itself has the perfect texture - chewy and not dense at all. Pesto bagel has a cheesy exterior and the pizza bagel is more tomatoey. The artichoke cream cheese was wonderful! I also appreciate the option to receive your bagel open-faced.

Avocado toast, but they didn't spread the hummus, just placed on top....

Their food is good but inconsistent. I often order the avocado toast both in person and delivery from Food Taxi, and sometimes there is a good amount of avocado and other times it's very little. I also have had just weird experiences with them...? I ordered a specialty drink listed on Food Taxi, but they no longer had it in season. Instead they just gave me a honey maple latte... Food Taxi was able to refund me the order but I'm not sure why they didn't just cancel the order or just let me know it wasn't available so I could order an alternative... I also once ordered my avocado toast with hummus spread and I'm not sure if they forgot to do it, and they just dumped the hummus on top. This was a delivery order so I couldn't get it corrected. I like their food and their drinks are good, but sometimes I don't know what I'll be getting!!

My husband and I usually DoorDash The Bagel Mill on a Sunday morning, but this time we went in person & it did not disappoint! The cafe is super cozy/modern with a sleek interior. We were a bit nervous cause the line was super long but service was SO fast and we were out of there in 10 minutes. The bagels are so fluffy and the homemade cream cheese is flavorful. I always love getting a sesame bagel with their scallion cream cheese, cucumbers, sprouts and radishes. A high end bagel place with upgraded toppings you don't typically see in your typical bagel shops. I highly recommend!

Love it here! I I highly recommend for a delicious bagel or handcrafted beverage. I had everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, and it was so good. Probably the best I've ever had. I've tried a few of the beverages like the iced Matcha , chai latte, vanilla latte, and the Horchata latte. I also tried their lemon cake latte, and it was by far the best latte I've had in a long time. The service is always so pleasant and friendly, loving all the smiling faces and how I feel welcomed each time I've visited. The ambience is so cute love how they have plants inside. It's giving earthy and hipster. It's a chill place to go for breakfast or lunch break, after school or even to have a meeting or catch up with a friend... definitely good vibes and they have music playing. Happy vibes indeed. You pay between $10 and $15 for one person for a beverage and bagel, which I think is very reasonable. I love the quality of the lattes and you could just taste the freshness and everything. I highly recommend this cute little spot for any occasion!

What a sweet bagel shop/cafe! Two of us met for a working lunch. She got the avocado toast. I got the frittata sando on toasted marble rye bagel (one of my fave bagel flavors!). We each got a latte. Order and pay at the counter and then if you're dining in, they'll bring the food to your table. Prices are reasonable and our treats were ready quickly. Both sandwiches were hearty, and tasty! And our hot drinks came in the cutest pink ceramic mugs with matching saucers. They use Ritual coffee, and sell the beans too. Love! There are a handful of tables inside and it was easy to get on the WiFi to get some work done. I'll definitely visit again!

Located in downtown Petaluma this place was easy to find and plenty of surrounding parking. On first approach it was easy to see that this is a popular place. There was already a small line forming and people kept on coming. I chose the avocado toast ($12) and added an egg ($3) and bacon ($3) and a white chocolate mocha ($7.45) w oat milk ($1) My kid chose the heirloom tomato toast ($13) and OJ ($8) The food was great, the prices were a bit high, so much so I had to take away 2 stars. I had originally searched for somewhere less expensive and this place popped up with one $ sign so I was like perfect! Then we get there and I drop about $55 on bagels and drinks for two people (well three if you count the bagel and cream cheese ($5) for the homeless guy outside) - that's definitely NOT a $ eatery. 7/10 would come again

    Kevin F.

Apologies for showing what's left of one of the best bagel w lox, cream cheese etc sandwiches ever! Also the variety of other bagels topped that! I ordered and quickly devoured one pesto, one pizza and one marbled rye bagel, each and they frikkin-A great the next day! Great airy informal place to eat, meet, convene and devour! 5th time here!!!

    Classic Lox Closed, Yum!!

Busy, but efficient! Delicious lox bagel with fresh ingredients. Plenty of space to sit.

My favorite bagel spot in the bay area. Would highly recommend the lemon cake latte. Service is always quick and the cafe itself is really cute.

Strawberry maritozzi: Of all of the pastries this was actually my last favorite. I felt like the bread was a bit dry and flavorless. The cream was good however and not too sweet like your typical American dessert. I think if they could some how use a different type of bun that isn't as dry, this would be amazing. 2. Caprese Sandwich (wrap): This was incredible. I really liked this sandwich. It was so flavorful and the balance of the pesto and chicken was amazing. Highly recommend. Very large and filling too. 3. Mushroom focaccia: Loved this! Focaccia was fluffy and a very generous amount of mushrooms on top. 4. Passion Fruit pasty: I LOVED this! It reminds me of being in hawaii again and reminded me of the malasalas there however in a pastry dough form. 5. Chocolate pistachio croissant: High quality pasty very fluffy and light with huge amount of chocolate. Overall, I felt like the savory items were incredible and overshadowed the sweet items. The sweet were still good though. Everything was high quality and fairly priced. Only item that I wouldn't get again is the Maritozzi.

They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!
