Bacon Avocado with sriracha on Asiago bagel
    Rachael B.

We went on a busy Saturday morning. The line was long, but moved quickly. The shop's small so it's crowded. We took our bagels to Ziegler Park. The bagel was fresh baked. The Sriracha wasn't too overpowering with the perfect balance of egg and avocado. I also brought home an Everything bagel. CHEFS KISS

The bagels were quite good! I had two. The Asiago and an everything bagel both toasted. The everything had turkey and lettuce. After seeing the pictures on here and google I was hoping for a bit more filling. They both tasted great so not too big of a letdown. The jalapeño cream cheese was a winner for me. They also were fully staffed which kept the line moving. There is no place to sit. They have a stand and dine counter that goes along the windows. Overall a decent place for breakfast bagels. I would gladly come back.

This place looked really cute and I really enjoyed their food. To start off I was working at an event nearby and we ordered online, this place is in a great location with plenty of other local restaurants right by it. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and only had to wait roughly 7 minutes for two bagels. Cost wasn't that bad either. Personally I really enjoyed the interior space as I loveeee bright colors. I just think it can really liven a space up, ya know? It was also very easy to pick up your order. As for the bagel itself I enjoyed it quite a lot! Normally I'm not the biggest fan of eggs but this meal made for the perfect breakfast. I'll definitely have to come back again at some point. One note I would say is there didn't appear to be any indoor seating, so if you're looking for somewhere to sit down at this place may not be for you.

Stopped by The Bagelry in OTR for a Saturday morning breakfast and now I get why this place stays busy. I ordered the NYC Lox on an everything bagel and it was chef's kiss. Honestly felt like I was back in New York. Everything was fresh, balanced, and just done right. I also grabbed an iced cold brew and it was exactly what I needed to start the morning. No ambiance, It's definitely more of a grab-and-go kind of spot, but they do have a standing bar if you want to stay and eat without heading back to your car. Nice option if you've got a few minutes. The staff were hustling the whole time, keeping up with both in-person and online orders, which was impressive to watch. Parking is pretty manageable with paid street parking and nearby public lots. If you're in OTR and want a solid breakfast bagel, this place is worth the stop.

My sister and I stopped in here on Monday before our drive back to Indy. It was so nice to have a warm breakfast after shoveling the snow away from my car and packing everything up from the Airbnb above. The inside is small, with no inside seating options. They have drip coffee, bottled drinks, etc, but no lattes or anything like that. The staff were friendly, the food was made quickly, and it was hot and delicious. The only thing I wish is that each side of the bagel still had a cream cheese smear on it, but otherwise an excellent bagel sandwich. I got a breakfast bagel and my sister got a lunch bagel and she loved hers as well. It was also cool to see that they use Tinker Coffee beans from Indy for their coffee!

Such a cute place. This location is to go style so you order it at the counter. I ordered the pizza bagel with pepperoni and it was so good!! The service was fast and everything was reasonably priced. I had heard good things and it didn't disappoint!

Fan for life. Great food. Amazing service. Dynamite staff. Please open Thursday-Sat nights.

If you want something quick this is the place to go. They have decent options and were priced well. The staff was friendly and the food was done quick. Would definitely return if in the area.

Came Sunday morning around 10am and I thought it would be packed so I ordered ahead but maybe people were still sleeping and this place gets busier towards 11? I was a little sad I ordered ahead because even though my order was correct, it definitely doesn't hit the same as ordering it fresh in line. I enjoyed the wide variety of bagel sandwich options and that you can design your own egg or regular bagel sandwich. I do think the bagel is a little on the hard side and not as squishy as I had hoped but still cool the bagels are made fresh.

BLT no Mayo on Asiago bagel with onion & chive cream cheese

This is a great place. It was really busy. People coming & going the whole time we were waiting on our bagels. When you walk in you go to the left to order. Then wait on the right side or for picking up to go orders. I got the BLT no mayonnaise on an Asiago Bagel & added the onion & chive cream cheese. The bacon was cooked perfectly & I loved the flavor of the cream cheese. My husband got the sausage egg & cheese on an everything bagel. He really enjoyed his too. We will definitely go back sometime when in town. They had Really Great prices too. I will note there isn't a restroom. Just a heads up.

The store was running late on the bread bake (which meant ours was as fresh as I could be). I spent a good 10-15 minutes in my Yankees cap (like the color not the team) studying the cuts of meat while a guy in a Redsox hat waited on the adjacent stool for his Boston Beef '3 way'. The wait staff were making some valid points about chatGPT while shredding the turkey, but I kept my mouth shut and my nose clean. Our Square and New Deal sandwiches were impeccable (albeit objectively speaking, my New Deal was better). I'm looking for the right mix of textures, meat, no skimping on Kewpie and a bread I can take a good bite out of - and it was an all around excellent sandwich on those counts. In waiting - I refreshed knowledge of hog body parts, and no Yanks/Sox fights broke out. Somehow they could tell I was new to Alveo, and they explained the process. Cashier was very sweet. Owner/Head chef took the time to chat with me, it obvious he cares as much about the ingredients as he does the customers' experience. Top notch dude. The sandwich? Criminally delicious. All the ingredients of the Tacchina were different temps, textures, flavors, so when they came together between the bread, it was an unparalleled experience. If they sold the GF focaccia by the loaf, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I respect the ingredients of the chips, just didn't love the flavor and texture (olive oil) and the bag is big enough to share with a friend. Tried the orange Italian soda, wasn't a fav, but maybe another flavor would be better. Would like to see more umbrellas for the patio, but I was lucky to snag a spot in the shade, at that point in the day. Alveo is the best sandwich I've had in 7 years of living here! Almost glad I don't live closer, as I'd be here constantly! Worth the drive! I will dream of the Tacchina!

I had heard that their pop-up dinners sell out very quickly so I was ready the day they were posted and grabbed a few spots for one of their February dates. We arrived and were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and then we found a seat at the long community table set for 20; it was so much fun getting to know the people seated next to us! Dinner was delicious! Four courses-the gnocchi with sausage was our favorite dish of the night.

If you follow them on socials, you can score a seat at the pop-ups. The place is an old house with a lot of character. The food for carryout is fantastic and their bread is fantastic. We live in West Chester and have driven down to there a few times just to pick up delicious dinners. We just attended our first dinner there last Tuesday. Oh My Goodness! What a treat. Jordan greeted us with a glass of Prosecco and directed us where to sit a long table that seats 20. We introduced ourselves to our seatmates and then our first dish arrived. Chef does explain the food before we had each dish, however we wished there was more background and history as to how this place came into being. So expect fantastic food without a lot of details. The first dish was a salad made with all local ingredients. It was so fresh and the dressing made with fresh dill was fantastic. The second dish was a ravioli with northern Italian cheese on a bed of butternut squash puree and brown butter. The pasta was SO delicate and the flavors complimented each other so well. The third dish was a 6 hour braised pork shoulder with ricotta gnocchi in a sauce with Calabrian chilis and I don't know what else. We have been to Italy and all the Italian restaurants in Cincinnati and never had anything like this. It was truly phenomenal. Dessert was a apple upside down cake served warm with whipped cream...fantastic. You bring your own wine, and Jordan is on it by never letting your glass get empty, pouring water, and clearing dishes. Service was so great and she is so friendly and accommodating. The cost was a very reasonable $100/pp and SO worth it. There is no menu, so you go in just devouring what Chef has prepared.
