(May mama Coco rest in peace) The cocktails were solid overall, and I was happy to see a couple of mezcal options on the menu. That said, the drinks are definitely on the pricier side. After tax and tip, each cocktail came out to around $20-$30. Still, it's a fun spot to check out, especially if you're already visiting Century Grand and want to experience one of their rotating themes.

If you think Friday nights are hit-or-miss at most bars, think again--Megan and Ashley at The Bar in Arcadia absolutely nailed it. From the moment I walked in, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and brought an energy that instantly made the place feel like home. Even with a packed Friday night crowd, they kept everything running smoothly while still making time to connect with customers. And Ashley--aka the "shit show supervisor"--wears that title like a badge of honor. She keeps the chaos in check with a great sense of humor and total control of the bar, which honestly just adds to the fun vibe of the night. Drinks were spot on, service was quick, and the overall experience was top tier. It's not easy to find bartenders who can handle a rush and still make you feel taken care of, but Megan and Ashley do it effortlessly. Hands down some of the best bartenders I've come across. The second I walked into this place I loved it. It's a warm, accessible and inviting place, brand new seating, tables, etc. $5 Jameson shots, $2 PBRs for happy hour. Everyone is friendly. Neatly's is a "permanent pop-up", a term I just made up that means they are a separate business from the bar that serves elevated pub fare (we had their version of carne asada fries). This pop up was created by the people at The Stand burgers and tacos on 36th St., so you can expect higher quality ingredients, and their special "Stand Sauce" on a few of their menu items. You order your food at that window and then they bring it out to you. The chef and his line cook are super nice and make sure to explain everything about the food and ask how you like it. The drink was good and there was a nice neighborly vibe. It was a cool spot maybe I'll try again when they don't have trivia. I did leave through the back to the parking lot. It's way in the corner and hard to see.
