Red velvet bread pudding with cream cheese frosting sauce

KILL TIME WITH A COCKTAIL IN HAND. Arrived early before my first IPic Theater experience. Didn't want to spoil the appetite as we'd be served in the theater but looking for something to sip and much on beforehand. Why not knock a few cocktails to make the experience a bit more interesting!!! PRICKLY PEAR HONEY RITA - Camarena Tequila, Local Honey, Prickly Pear, Hand Squeezed Lime, Fleur de Sel Rim. This cocktail was bright pink, sweet, and gives a nice calm buzz. CALAMARI - I wasn't sure how I felt about the calamari as it wasn't the typical calamari body pieces I'm use to. The calamari was cut in strips instead of rings and their wasn't much flavor. The only flavor was in the batter and dipping it with the sauce it came with. RED VELVET BREAD PUDDING - Decadent bread pudding made with moist red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting. This dessert is pretty filling and the portion is pretty large, good enough to share with one or two other people - literally. It is very moist just as bread pudding is suppose to be. To have a red velvet bread pudding was a great experience. It is a sweet dessert and the cream cheese frosting drizzled on top and around the plate made me have foodgasm. Will I be back? YES. Until the next review...

tip: if you are going to watch a movie and plan on ordering food to eat during the movie, you can avoid the long wait and order in the bar and pick up the food yourself in the take out window to bring back to your seat. great spot to grab a drink or apps before the movie or hang out after work. the place gets busy on Fridays and Sat so be sure to get there a bit early to grab a table (especially if you have a bigger party). we usually get the turkey sliders or chicken kabobs. there trio sliders pretty juicy and you can't go wrong with the choice. they have savory dessert drinks and a full bar with spirits, wine and beer. service is usually pretty on target and there is a washroom conventienty located next to the bar so you don't have to walk all the way to the theater. in addition to coming here for personal purposes, I've booked events here and also attended social events. catering dept manager follows up and the food is good too.

Convenient pre-movie drinks and dinner spot. Our order consisted of Fajitas, Nacho Bites, Margherita Pizza, Truffle Fries, Death by Chocolate, Cosmos and a Mimosa. Overall, the prices are reasonable given the location and quality is on par. Service was top notch.

Nice large bar to grab a drink or some food before your movie. The bartender was super cool- wish I knew his name. He made some very nice margaritas! I was very bummed they don't serve hot wings anymore. We ended up getting some overpriced nachos, that were soggy and just plain sucked. I would come back here for an early movie, but I imagine they get super packed later in the evening. For the price- hit up someone else before your movie.

Tater Tots - Yesss Please! My husband and I came here for a Yelp Event about two weeks ago. I was under the impression that we'd get a drink and some kind of sample appetizer before seeing a complimentary movie. Boy was I wrong. Food - We got to choose one appetizer and two entrees! We got the mozzerlla sticks for our appetizer. They were fried perfectly crispy and we ate them with ranch - duh. Yummy. For our meals, my husband got the steak quesadillas. They were delicious. I got the angus beef sliders. There were three sliders, with bacon and tomato. They were tasty and a little greasy, which made it all the more yummy. I ordered a side of TATER TOTS to ensure artery clogging. I am in love with tater tots. Mmmmm.... Drinks - We each got two drink tickets for the event and could order any well drinks or some of their specialty drinks listed for the event. I order The Zombie. It was a sweet citrus-y drink with rum. It came with a little cup of rum sitting on top. Sweet goodness. My hubs got a Mojito I believe and a Zombie. They also had a free tray of summer drinks going around when we first got there, so we had TONS of free drinks. Before I got to the movie I was stuffed full of Salt Food Goodness. I enjoy the food. The atmosphere is super cool and modern. Love the decor. Bathrooms are pretty (I notice these things). Servers were awesome!!! Friendly and attentive. I'm not sure if we'd come here too often on our own because it is a little pricey. We did eat here before when we came to see a movie and haven't been disappointed. Great food - whouda thunk for a movie theater! Haha ;)

Amazing service! I come just for the bar, not for the movies. Rachel is truly the best!!!

I've been to plenty of craft cocktail bars, but nothing quite like this one. The bartender--who is also the owner--takes mixology to a whole new level. We're talking scientific precision here, using actual lab equipment to craft drinks that taste as incredible as they look. One drink in particular, "garden" completely blew us away. It was unique, balanced, and absolutely delicious--just one of many standout cocktails we tried. Beyond the drinks, the atmosphere was amazing. The bartender was welcoming, generous with his time, and let us sample and explore different flavors. It felt more like a fun experience than just a night out. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality, and the small bites were spot-on. The whole venue had great energy, and I honestly can't say enough good things about it. Not very busy when I went at happy hour/dinner time on a Friday night, but the place is busier later at night on Friday/Saturday during the warmer months. Sometimes they have events and DJs. Sat at the bar and tried out some happy hour specials. Got the Korean sauce wings ($12) and cheese truffle fries ($8). Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. Sauce was agreeable. Definitely enough food for my dinner. As for the drinks, I got the rosemary mule which is Moscow mule with some rosemary herb. The copper mug they use is good sized. Tasted refreshing although could feel the alcohol afterwards. Also tried a corpse reviver no. 2, which was a little sweet but has a punch. Cocktail prices are not cheap outside of happy hour, in the upper teens. Overall, was glad I tried the place out. Will drop by for happy hour once in a while.

When Archer opened years ago, we became regular customers, and Archer became among our top three favorite hangouts. We have had birthday parties, class reunions and many friends join us there, to their great enjoyment. Honestly, it was like going to a friend's home; it was that comfortable seeing all of the people we enjoyed that worked there. They were hard working, kind, professional and friendly. Recently, there have been significant and disappointing staff changes. We walked in a few weeks back to find that some of the staff that helped us for years, were not there. We figured there were schedule changes and that we would come back another day. A week later, we entered and again saw the bartender was not there. I approached the bar staff and asked where these individuals were. We were told they were no longer employed at Archer. We were beyond disappointed. We left. We contacted the former employees and were told more disappointing news that they either were terminated or resigned. The hotel relies heavily upon travelers to promote their location. The bar/restaurant relies upon them too, but more importantly relies upon the locals to promote the business. We have done that in the past at Archer, but will no longer recommend this location and will seek somewhere different to be our new local.
