I stopped in with a coworker after work for some discount wings and a soda. The bar was clean and almost empty of patrons. It was just on "off" time, 2:15. The bartender was friendly and funny. My first time ordering with The Bar- Lime Kiln was far from pleasing. The online web order through their website was confusing and stated I would receive a confirmation email with my order shortly, but never was sent one. Estimated delivery time was 45 minutes from 8:00 p.m. yet took a bit longer which I can understand, yet don't understand after I opened the boxes for my burger and wings and saw the poor effort, poor presentation, and poor quality overall. Honestly I didn't even know if it would be delivered since I never received a confirmation email. I filled out a contact form through the website and have yet to hear back. I purchased a BYOB (build your own burger) pricing around $10 with the additional toppings. I uploaded a pic of what was ordered and comparatively uploaded a picture of what was received.. a two patty burger, a few onions and one slice of cheese. The fries tasted as though they were still partially frozen but hey, at least I got a side of ketchup and BBQ for free! I also ordered boneless wings which were better than the burger, but very disappointed in the overall presentation of food and how low quality it all tasted for the price. Stopping in on Halloween but early in the night for their wings. I was told this was the place to go for wings. Sitting at the bar I asked what sort of Oktoberfest beers they had and the bartender did not really know any of the beer selections so I gave up and ordered a blue moon beer. My husband ordered a IPA beer and was served a brown ale which was strange as well. We all ordered the wings special of the day. I got 10 boneless spicy Thai wings and coleslaw. Half of our parties meal came out at one time. I was almost done eating when the my friends got their food. Coleslaw was okay it had little to no seasoning on it. The wings had a lot of sauce to the point they were swimming and my wings came to me lukewarm. I did like the flavor of the wings and that they were served with blue cheese. Bartender earned her $1 tip when I had to ask for new ice after all the old ice had melted & then 45 minutes after I placed a food order she admitted she hadn't put it in. The place was not that busy on a Monday afternoon with two bartenders. This is the second time in a week I've given The Bar a second chance after not visiting for over a year because of poor food and service that can be lacking. The first time (during another non-busy time at Holmgren Way) I waited ten minutes for my first drink & paid $60 for basically parakeet wings stuffed full of fat. I miss the old days, but whatever . Just another corporate place like Anduzzi's, I'll visit the local places outside of Green Bay. After reviewing past negative posts it seems like management (The B.) acknowledges and apologies for mistakes going back over two years . . . but nothing seems to change. Credit for knowing & letting people know you've seen their review, but if nothing changes when you know you have issues, all I can say as a previous loyal customer is that I will not recommend this establishment and you're below Applebee's as far as the quality of food & service you provide, which is unfortunate considering you're a local establishment & not a nationwide franchise. read more

Overall I like the Bar and never had a problem with any of the food at this particular location. I ordered the Cuban last night and really enjoyed it. Our bartender/waiter was flustered but mostly helpful. It was very busy but we got our food relatively quickly. My only small complaint was that is was very loud in there (I guess you can't really help that being that it's a bar). I play volleyball at the bar, and have always enjoyed the facilities & staff. The volleyball courts are kept pretty clean, and there is a bar window off to the side if you need to grab a quick drink. The bar has happy hour till 7 during the week which is awesome for those of us that are there to play -and those that are not :). I eat here pretty often depending on game time and the food is pretty good. The best thing on the menu are the wings. They have a good selection of sauces and glazes depending on how spicy you like your food. I personally love the honey curry! The spicy garlic and spicy BBQ are also yummy. I ordered from this establishment this evening; the food was fair, yet only fair flavor. However, the most disappointing and misleading aspect of their menu is the price for their sodas. I ordered a bottle of root beer which was $3.61, and I assumed for that amount I would receive a 2 liter or at least a 1 liter bottle. I was shocked when I received the delivery only and was greeted by a flaccid 12 oz bottle of root beer. Please put the f'ing quantity of your sodas on your site. I've come here a few times, but never during a Packer game. And I won't ever go back, at least not for a game. They have a bunch of tvs around the bar, but they denote one game to a specific tv so after sitting down and thinking I'd be able to see the game I found out I was facing the wrong way. Unfortunate, but workable. They also had some sort of benefit going on and were selling raffle tickets and whatnot. The problem is that the person announcing the winners kept doing it during the game instead of the commercials. The food was decent bar food. Service was ok. I've been here for UFC fights and never been disappointed like this so I guess I was expecting more. Wish there was a veggie burger on the menu as a vegetarian option. Two vegetarians on my trivia team would order it every Tuesday! Daily drink specials are a bit pricey for the area at $4.50 for most of them. They have a huge volleyball area here which is very cool, and trivia over to the side. My wife went here for lunch today and ordered boneless wings. The waitress brought out traditional wings, which she doesn't eat. When my wife brought it to the waitresses attention, she insisted that she ordered traditional wings and told my wife "well, I'm not sure what to do". Then brought a manager out who was very rude, and asked my wife if the waitress repeated the order back to her (which she couldn't recall, but knew if she hear the term "traditional" she would have caught it and corrected it). The manager asked my wife if she wanted to place a new order and she refused because she was short on time having to get back to work. He insisted my wife had to pay for the wrong order until another employee said he would pay for them and eat them. How incredibly unprofessional and rude is that?! Had the waitress rectified the situation she would have received a nice trip instead of the dollar my wife left her. Also, it should be the managers job to make it right. So...I've been coming to The Bar for over ten years. Admittedly, I've consumed more that is poured than plated but don't tell my liver. The wings used to be 10¢ back in the day. Now, 30¢ will get you decent wings...but I do feel sorry for the chicks that got theirs clipped and sauced before they could reach maturity. The rest of the food is usually good. The service can only be described as schizophrenic. A few of the staff members show that they care about their customers. The rest must have trust funds because they're starving if they live on tips. It makes sense though because the establishment has a bit of an identity crisis, too. It claims to be a sports bar, but you're as likely to be listening to a band on gameday as the game. I was able to attend a wedding reception held at The Bar East and was floored by the staff. The party was about a hundred people, but they were able to ensure the buffet never ran empty, while attending to guests with beverages. When I saw the reception was being held in a bar I was a bit concerned, but they had a separate room with a bar and bathrooms, with plenty of space to mingle. "The Bar" is a small chain in Wisconsin, mostly in the Northeastern, WI area. They are relatively the same, but for some reason I prefer this location. It's very spacious with two bars and the walls are covered with TVs. I'm a big fan of the wings as they are fairly cheap and super delish. Another plus is they deliver food until midnight on some nights. The variety of craft beers are not huge, but they feature a brewery of the month and have several beers on tap from that brewery. This a great place to bring a group of people for a birthday or any kind of celebration. There's a big sand volleyball court where volleyball leagues play on a regular basis. On weekends you can play paint ball on the sand courts which was fun when I went here for a bachelor party. read more

My buddy said his burger was extremely salty, likening it to a classy McDonald's burger. I had a panini, it was as expected. Drinks were standard. Being from out of town I didn't know this was a chain. Bar tenders are proficient, lacking a little of the edge/flavor that I like when going to a place. Though a couple of them seemed to joke with some of the locals. I've never seen indoor (beach) volleyball at a bar before so they have a bit of an edge there. A couple dart boards (soft tip) set up around the place, a few pool tables, video gambling machines and a couple video games set up. They also have a shuttle service. I wish more places did!
