Great place to grab a early bite or evening one. It has outdoor seating on the sidewalk in Milford slightly off of the main drag of downtown. Service was responsive and nice. Food was very good, drinks were a little watered down, both my pop and wife's Bloody Mary which was the only not positive part of the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid meal. The homemade fries were excellent as well!!!! read more

First time for breakfast, at the bar. Walking in, the atmosphere, was very hot, uncomfortable. Ordered, one of the bowls, with eggs, over easy on top. The dish came with, eggs hard. I know, reviews are mostly positive. So be it. It will be some time until I return. read more

Delicious breakfast! First time and we'd definitely go back; great service, fun atmosphere; appreciated that the manager came by multiple times and asked how everything was going. My husband had the Baja burrito, I had the Country burrito and we both loved our choices and each other's! The Country burrito is stuffed with fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, mushrooms, onions, roasted red peppers, and the whole burrito is covered in a cheese sauce. The Baja burrito was fluffy scrambled eggs, chorizo, pico de gallo, and the whole thing covered with cheese sauce and sour cream. Just perfect! We had a group of 10 of us and they were so accommodating! To the point they cut the cake, gave us extra dishes and utensils etc. great fun staff and the owner stopped by several times we were happy with all. And I want you to know food was great too! read more

I have lived three blocks from The Bar for over 20 years. On my last couple of visits, I've come to realize that I have taken them for granted. Understand this caveat, it's not dive bar food with dive bar pricing. You're gonna pay Bistro prices, but trust me, the food is outstanding. The service is top quality yet casual, while the atmosphere is cool and welcoming. The burgers are better than any other I've had no matter how far I drive. My Wife swears by their Maurice Salad (snd she's had everyone's Maurice). The Weekend brunch is high quality and the Bar Potatoes take your breakfast to the next level. Our breakfast was fabulous! Love the warm, bar atmosphere. It was busy, but our server was attentive and polite. I absolutely recommend getting the potatoes - they are my favorite hash brown potatoes ever. They are cut to a perfect size and perfectly crisp. The English muffin is also a must have. It's sour dough and chewy - perfectly toasted and lightly buttered. I absolutely recommend brunch here and if the weather cooperates, there are a handful of tables outside too. read more

Stopped in early on a Friday afternoon. Very friendly service and prompt. Had a few cocktails and some fries and fish tacos. Fries were a little less than firm and the sauce was extremely tasty. Just finished having lunch at The Bar in Milford. I had the perch dinner and it was delicious. The perch was perfectly cooked as were the bar frites. It also came with coleslaw that was very tasty as well. I highly recommend the perch dinner and look forward to trying everything on their new and improved menu. read more

I always come here because it's convenient and right by my house. The prices are a bit more than I would love but, they always have amazing customer service and friendly faces to greet you when you walk in. The BAR is the BEST!! Sunday brunch is outstanding with Mimosas and the best waffle and omelets! Jimmy is super friendly and so accomodating. THe staff are super!!!! Alex, Caitlin, Mariele, Lindsey, Melissa...are all so friendly, and quick with their attention to your orders. Rogee is super as well. I went here with high expectations but was sadly disappointed. We had brunch on Sunday and I had Farmers hash. It had no taste and the beets and potatoes were not cooked properly. The lemon ricotta pancakes were small and flavorless and they charged $12 for 3 very small pancakes with "canned blueberries " on top... overall food is very pricey and not very good. read more

The Bar, great name the place was hit. We had the dog, and Google said they had a pet friendly patio, it was a nice warm day and we were just around the corner so off we went. It was lunch time and we were thirsty and a little hungry. We get to the Bar and headed out back with the dog no problem, they were quick to take our orders and brought the dog a bowl of water. The drinks came out fast, we ordered some apps the cheese curds and frits and the nachos minus the chorizo. They were all good and the nachos were great. Service was good food was good, so if you want to sit out back with your dog have some drinks, this is a good fit. read more

If I were to use two describing words for "The Bar" it would be sticky and expensive. We were in downtown Milford to run some errands and wanted to grab a bite to eat. We love the downtown look/feel of Milford and had high hopes for the restaurants in the area. Let me start off by saying the service was good. However many other areas of this place lacked. My wife and I enjoyed our turkey sandwiches and would order them again (even though they were slightly on the pricey side). The chips were not good and what really upset me was the kids meal we received. 4 chicken and tenders and fries came out to $14....$3 up charge for the the fries which we were unaware of (for a kids meal you would be assume those are included). And my 2 year old has no business eating a $14 meal (which he just throws on the floor or barley eats) 2 sandwiches, 2 beers, kids meal (w/ fries) and Milk was $60. I was generally upset with my wife that she recommended this place. We were both angry when we left. The Bar has put my marriage on the rocks. read more

This restaurant has been a favorite of ours for a long time. Great food and a wonderful ambience. This morning, however, we tried the weekend brunch menu, and it was wonderful! The eggs benedict were perfect, and the Colorado omelette with shredded beef was outstanding. With Spring coming, and street side seating coming soon, I suspect I'll be visiting quite a bit more. By the way, the lunch and evening fare is just as strong. I love the cubano sandwich, and the burgers are some of the best I've had. read more

I am a big fan of The Bar. The menu is small, but that is a good thing - everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. You can get an amazing burger, a good steak... I have never had a bad meal here, and if you go often enough they might make you something off-menu, like fried pickles. These with the dipping sauces for the bar frites are a good match. They mix a good drink, too, and they have some interesting beer choices. The atmosphere is nice. It's clean and cozy. We stopped by on a lazy Thursday afternoon since we were both off work. We had the place to ourselves, perfect time to enjoy a drink and good bar food. We had an amaretto sour, my better half tried on of the local beers. He ordered the Montana burger, it was so delicious! The caramelized onions really make a difference. I went for the black bean chicken nachos. They were perfectly done and came with plenty of sour cream. The avocado was very fresh and so was the pico de gallo. Pretty good food for what you would call bar food! I love the cauliflower appetizer or the pull pork nachos. The burgers are awesome! They have breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays, which has limited choices, but the essentials. And they have $5 bloody mary's during brunch time! Music plays, but you can still talk in the evenings, except when they have a band. The band isn't my cup of tea because it is too loud, but the music is typically good either way...you just cannot talk. Staff is friendly too! read more

This place is just Milfords dive bar and it shows; a lot of the food is clearly microwaved, and the items that aren't are usually quite expensive for what your getting. If other places are open and have vacancy, go there instead. read more

This small restaurant is a hidden treasure in Milford. The food was amazing (we almost all got burgers) and it came out within 15 minutes on one of the busiest days of the year. There is seating outside in the front and back. The venue is small however, it seemed cramped and the wait staff/owner expressed their distaste for working on more than one occasion. This was the only downside-the owner himself was a little rude however it was a stressful day and you can't always catch someone in the best mood. I will go again! read more

Beautiful and kind waitress named Mariel working here all the time. She is so kind and works very hard. I enjoy the Mediterranean platter and fish and chips here. I decent place to go in downtown Milford. Its a little isolate on the main drag - way down by the south end. Its not a large place - good for 2-4 people. Their patio is a highlight, nice and strategic for people watching - or cars. Decent menu and drink options. Wait staff is a little young, but they hustle and its a small enough place that you can speak up to get some help. Menu is focused on burgers/sandwiches and finger foods. They have salads too and a couple of entrees. Priced well for Milford. Sunday they do a brunch and like most shops in MIlford, they are pet friendly. read more

Wow this place charges a fortune. Two couples with three plates (our wife's shared a plate) and the other person had a burger while I had a chicken fajita. 6 beers and 4 margaritas. $180!! The girls asked if the could substitute their side for sweet potato fries the waitress said, sure only to find out she charged six dollars extra. Someone asked for a little bit of extra sauce on the side..... charges us $1. And the bar service was sloooooooow! Unfortunately that's need the tread for the past year so I'm sorry but this place is no longer my favorite place in Milford. read more
