Worst place I have ever been to. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT WHAT YOU ASK FOR. I have two dogs one is a Siberian Husky and the other is a doodle mix about a medium size dog. I had come in to set an appoint for both of my dogs to be taken care of on the same day. My husky needed to be bathed, blown out and nails trimmed. My doodle mix needed a haircut and a bath plus nail and both have fleas so I asked for a flea treatment. The owner seemed nice at first telling me that everything will be taken care of. She gave me an estimate of 100-110 depending on the size of the dogs and that was included with EVERYTHING I asked to be done. That was cool and all u til I came in to their appointment just for her to switch up on me and tell me she couldn't bathe and haircut my doodle and take care of my husky. I was really upset because I had planned to flea bomb my home that same day, and she was aware of that. She offered to puppy sit for my doodle mix and do all the things for my husky. I agreed to that because I wasn't going to sit there and argue. I was desperate for my dogs to be groomed. She called me around closing time to pick up my dogs and I did and was trying to tell me to pay using card even though I already had cash ready in my hand. I put my dogs in my car and my Husky was sopping wet! I have leather seats and their was a puddle of water from where she was sitting. I was a little annoyed with that. I payed $90 for her and I was told I would be getting a cute spring picture of my dog that I NEVER recieved, when I got home she kept licking her paws and would not let me touch them and finally as I was able to take a close look I could tell they had trimmed her nails to far down and it was noticeable blood that dried up. But I figured why not give them the benefit of the doubt and second chance to reschedule an appoint for my doodle mix. (BIG MISTAKE) I had confirmed with her everything that I wanted to be done once again and even wrote it in my notes on my phone so I wouldn't forget what we had talked about. She gave me an exact estimate of $90 for him to be done after she had calculated everything in her "system". His appointment was at 2 pm and around 3:40pm she calle me and says he will be ready for pick up by 3:50 pm. 5 mins later she calls me FRANTICALLY telling me my dog is being TOO AGGRESSIVE. This is BS because that dog let's my 3 young children play rough with him and not once has he ever even baired his teeth towards them. He is the most patient most sweet boy I have ever met in my life. She tells me I need to pick him up now and how they had a muzzle on him but even with a muzzle on him they could not continue to cut his hair the way I wanted it. She proceeds to tell me I need to pay $100 Or she won't give me my dog until I payed her that amount. As I pulled up in front of the door she was already standing out side expecting me to pay before I could even take a look at my dog. I told her no I need to see my dog first. He looks scared in the kennel with the muzzle on partially. She tells me to take the muzzle off or he might bite her. I take it off just fine in front of her. His hair cut looks ridiculous his nails were not cut and he didn't even smell cleaned like he had a bath. Never again will I go there. Not a trust worthy place, extremely unprofessional. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but in the end I was just left angry and in regret for putting my babies through all that. I should have taken it as a sign that my dog didn't even want to go in there when we were trying to get in through the door. I wouldn't doubt if they are to rough or mean to the dogs when you are not around. Trust your instincts because I wish I trusted mine. read more

Holy cow I found the place! I have 3 beautiful pups who are all a handful in their own way. My youngest, a mini pitbull mix, is very afraid of the world and many groomers refuse us service because she is so stressed out. Firstly, I'm visually impaired and crashed into the front door and Taylor sprang into action (even though she was super busy) and opened the door for me while asking if I was ok. Secondly, when I told her my dog was very anxious and hated getting her nails done, Taylor wasn't even phased. She had me hold my pup and did everything so professionally and loving. Thirdly, this is such a cute location and all the dogs seemed really happy. I can't wait for my other 2 pups to get groomed here this weekend. I've been going to this location for two years with my Pomeranian, back when this location was transitioning to Bark Chateau from Hairy's. This place has always done an outstanding job and leaves my Pom's fur clean and tidy for at least a full month. Whatever shampoo and conditioner they're using works great and seems to repel dirt for so long. She smells amazing afterwards. Their work is consistent and my Pom always looks amazing. They do botched jobs. The groomer was lazy and a thief! Instead of telling me what was going on, she just proceeded without communicating the process the concern nor the extra charges! Bad business! I paid the amount for a buzz cut that could have been done at home. The groomer was in the background of the call feeding her spouse who was finally calling me back what to say instead of owning up to her lack of communication and taking responsibility for her crappy job. I don't normally do reviews, but in light of the experience, I had along with my two French bulldogs at the bark Château. I had to warn others about the horrible techniques that I and my puppies experienced today. The dog grooming location that I normally go to was closed and both of my French bulldogs needed their nails clipped so I looked for another location. I found the bark château and against my better judgment. I went there instead of waiting to take my dogs another day to their normal location, the gal that assisted me told me she doesn't clip the nails but she uses a sander. That's rotating relatively fast and she takes it to their nails and they grind some down quickly. Well, my first dog, the eight-month-old Frenchie was screaming and hollering and yanking his head back and scratching me and I just thought he was uncomfortable and that the noise bothered him well the second Frenchie, my older Frenchie didn't wine as much but when I got home and I inspected their nails, I was shocked she was very quick, and she had ground down both of my dogs nails to nubs and I can see the internal keratin and root system. I can't even imagine the pain that they must be feeling and they're laying down most of the day they don't even wanna walk on their feet. In addition to that a couple of the nails are extremely long and she barely ground them down. Her technique is sloppy and very painful for the dogs and she did not do a good job. I will never go back there and other dog owners beware read more

We've been using Bark Chateau for several years. They've been so great and we've always had a great experience. Our senior Maltese was not the friendliest to people but she did great here and was groomed regularly until she passed. We currently take our little Pom here and he gets the cutest teddy bear cuts. We've also used the training service. When we got our big dog, we were in desperate need for some training. It is definitely a work in progress on our end but our big guy has done so well. He is a completely different dog and we can now enjoy walks on a leash. He is a bit of a nervous dog but he loves Taylor and Ashley. We can't clip his nails at home but he lets them do it when he gets groomed. They are absolutely the best! Oh, I forgot to add the special little things like getting pics over the holidays when they are groomed or cute ties over the holidays. It is just those little things that mean a lot. WOW I am so impressed!!! We just moved to Washington from California, we waited to get our dogs groomed because we heard such great reviews about this place from family! We have a belgain malinois and a lab, who both shed like crazy (especially the malinois). We got a deshed for both and full groom, when I picked them up they smelled SO good, coats glowing, perfectly trimmed. I am writing the next day and they still smell amazing.
