But after talking to a friend about her wonderful experience at Waggs & Ruffs, I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. My pup was shy in the beginning, which honestly made me nervous, but he warmed up quickly. Now he genuinely looks forward to seeing his favorite humans and his dog buddies every time we pull up! What really sets this place apart is the staff -- they are caring, responsible, and treat every dog like their own. You can tell this isn't just a job for them; they truly love what they do. I also really appreciate that they keep their group sizes small, so every dog gets real attention instead of getting lost in the shuffle. The add-on options are such a nice touch too -- training, one-on-one cuddle time, pack walks, and even trips to Fiesta Island give my pup extra enrichment beyond a typical daycare day. And I love getting photo updates and report cards -- checking my phone to see how his day is going is honestly the highlight of my afternoon. If you're on the fence about dog daycare like I was, do yourself (and your pup) a favor and give Waggs & Ruffs a try. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, my…read morepartner didn't realize that dogs weren't allowed into the event that we were going to so I needed a last minute doggy daycare urgently!! I was so fortunate to stumble across Precious Pet Car on Yelp! Leila helped me through the whole process of signing up and booking and I was able to schedule a meet-n-greet and book a stay that same morning! Truly such a kind, responsive, and accommodating process. It was my first time ever sending my dog Mochi to a sitter and I was super anxious since he's already 10years old! The meet went even better than expected. The dog area was HUGE and there were so many toys and activity spots for the dogs to play or shaded areas to just rest. Shantae asked about my dog and explained the personalities of the other dogs that would be staying with him and I felt so reassured that Mochi would be just fine. A total bonus that I wasn't expecting was getting picture updates of Mochi having a blast! Seems like the old man got to have a little vacation on his own. Shantae informed me that he whined for a couple minutes after I left, which is normal, and how he got along with the smaller dogs and got to play with the water hose! Such fun surprises to me since he normally ignores little Dogs and water in general! I cannot recommend trusting your fur pets with Leila and her team more!! I was able to celebrate my birthday with ease knowing my dog was in good hands (possibly having more fun than even me!) When I'm down in SD again, I will definitely be utilizing Precious Pet Car services again! Thank you guys so much~

After having a…read morebad experience with a self-employed sitter, spotty availability with another self-employed sitter, and then deciding not to travel altogether, Leila and her amazing team at Precious Pet Care showed me that their high standard of care meant I could be at ease and take vacations again! I was referred to Precious Pet Care by a dog trainer I know. I was interested in their Golden Overnight Care services, a 24-hour service where the sitter is with my babies all day! In particular, my dogs are extremely attached as they are used to coming to work with me and generally being around me 24/7, so this type of sitter service was a must! I was given a link to request a meet & greet and schedule the days a sitter was needed in my home and met with my assigned sitter, Kate, prior to my requested days. Ever the worrier about my dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs that I would be apart from, Kate handled my bombarding her with information in good stride. During my vacation, I was pleased to see that she sent numerous photos, videos, and updates daily! Kate made me feel completely at ease while I was away and was such a great communicator. Upon my return, all my critters were happy, and the house was neat and clean! Kate made sure to take the trash out and clean up after herself as well. Truly a 5-star experience! I would highly recommend their Golden Overnight Care services to anyone who wants to enjoy peace of mind on their next getaway! Thank you to Leila, Kate, and the entire Precious Pet Care Team!

While it's convenient since…read moreit's in Sports Arena Blvd, that area can also get very crowded/congested and would say not the best area. However, this location is tucked away behind Panda Express. My first visit was to tour the facility and one of the staff and manager shared more information with us and answered all of my question - they were great. The facility itself is clean and pretty spacious, and they have an indoor/outdoor play area for the dogs. What really stood out was the initial meet and greet, with a focus on making your dog feel comfortable and assess their temperament. I felt reassured that all the dogs passed this and are properly socialized. My dog has since gone to daycare and really enjoyed himself. I was also happy that I could view him on the live webcam and they sent pictures of him smiling and playing. Great customer service and some cute well-behaved dogs here. Check them out!

I've gone back and forth for months trying to decide if I should share our experience and…read moreultimately have decided it may be helpful to others. I'll start by saying I had made a positive review at one point but it appears it has been removed. We had been going to Camp Bow Wow since my pup was 4months old. She was loved by all dogs and people and every time had such a great experience. We were sad when they closed after the previous owner left and were so happy when they reopened. My Beddy was a regular, went at least once a week and boarded multiple times. She was even crowned "Camper of the Month". After we moved further north, we still came about once a week. All that to say we LOVED Camp Bow Wow. I took Beddy to camp to play with her friends on her 2nd birthday in October 2025 and it was an awful experience. We have a yard so I don't need her to have space to run. I specifically took her to camp to play with her friends on her birthday. I got a text about halfway through the day, saying she had been in a "scuffle", was ok but would be rotated between yards due to her high energy. Beddy is always high energy. The team knows this and we had never had an issue. When I went to pick her up, come to find out, she was kept in a separate "yard" almost the entire day. There was no mention of her being aggressive or a danger or unmanageable and yet she was isolated almost all day. I was devastated and Beddy seemed sad when I brought her home, probably because she spent all day trying to figure out why she couldn't play but could "smell the others". Leading up to this, I had noticed lately that there were A LOT more dogs attending camp and the staff was always new/rotating. My guess is yes, my Beddy is high energy but because they are more concerned about the money/numbers, they had too many dogs to handle one that may require some redirection here and there. And my guess is she was kenneled most of the day. Not in some "extra yard" by herself. This is not ok. Especially considering how long we had been going there and had never had an issue. I asked for the owner to call me, she never did. I could understand if Beddy was having an off day, wasn't getting along with the dogs, was a threat...but when I asked if that was the case they said no. She was kept separate to make their job easier because they had too many dogs. Period. Other things to note, they use squirt bottles to redirect dogs and I once saw them pull a dog hard by the collar across the entire yard when it didn't appear there was a major issue (there was no apparent threat). These are not ways I would expect my dog to be handled. On their social media they share posts that are not from their facility which is deceiving and they never asked me for proof of updated vaccines when Beddy's expired. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was a hard day, etc but after the birthday incident we have not been back and I would second guess bringing your dog here.

Chose all day play for both. Arrived and in going over booking was told that only 1 dog had all day play. No. Had that changed (I thought). Started using wag cam next morning. Both dogs looked miserable in all day play. Laying down away from other dogs. That was expected. They really aren't interested in playing with other dogs. Would have been nice if caretaker had taken notice. Next day I check all day play and only see 1 dog. Check "suite" cam and there is the other dog. Call Wag. Oh, you only booked all day play for 1 dog. No. I corrected that on check in. Half hour later check wag cam and both dogs are in all day play. Throughout the stay staff kept referring to each dog as "HE". They are not male. They are female as was clearly noted on their paperwork. Is that why no one cared that other dogs were trying to mount my dogs (per web cam). I think they could have and should have done better. This was not the exceptional care I was expecting. Oh, and thanks for the kennel cough
