Great place with a super large beer selection and really good pub fare on the 'eatin side of things. This place looks like a one-time gas station maybe, but the repurpose is really cool. The bar/dining area is small and the folks manning the bar and covering the tables in unison were on their game. I couldn't help but think our little corner spot may have been the location of a display of Michelin's in a different time, but it was good for grubbing this gray windy night. I went with a 3 Mavins Lager and waters for both of us. Been awhile since I had a brew and that one fit the bill. First time with this brand. We ordered 8 Wings, the Cheap Ass Fries and Nacho with pulled pork. The wings were bbq style and met approval of my accompanying party. The fries were crinkle cut and seasoned with a tasty mixture. They were just out of the fryer and as good as fries can get. The nachos were a mountain of cheesy delight. Some good corn chips topped with cheese, tomatoes, jalapeño, guacamole, sour creme and lettuce, and throw on some smoked pulled pork for a small up-charge. Style points to the folks in the back, the chips were goosed up with cheese all over and stacked very nicely. The smoked pork was a great enhancer to the mountain on the plate, maybe the star of the show. If you are in this area give it a shot. read more

The swine burger was great I had the chance to try their pork which is so good. Love the pork on burger and how they make the bacon on it. I would love an order of that for an app if LJ with me. The burgers here are ridiculously good! I don't think they have a bad item on their menu, and the drinks are so good! Not to mention, if you're a sports fanatic you can come grab a beer and have good food while watching the game. The servers are very welcoming and helpful with making decisions if you have a hard time picking from all of their delicious options. We went to a funeral and after the service we wanted a bite to eat before heading back south. Went on Yelp and found this Gastro Pub. Not being from the area, was a bit hesitant but gave it a shot. Much to my surprise it was a hit. A little local dive bar (for lack of a better term). We were early but there were a few people bellied up to the bar, and some high tops. We decided to eat outside. The bar person was also the waitress. She was happy, personable, and even carried a joke or two. She was exceptional in my opinion. The food was good, burgers, and chicken wrap. Yelp reviews led us to this hidden gem, and we almost left because of the outside appearance...don't be deceived - definitely worth it! Open for just about a year, The Bat Cave wowed us with the best wings we've had since we moved here. Crispy, smoky delicious Nashville sweet and spicy wings were cooked perfectly and came with blue cheese or ranch and celery...a perfect starter. We went for the burgers, but will be back for the wings even more! Hubby and I each ordered a half pound burger which was also cooked to our liking with potato petals for fries on the side. Sooo much food...couldn't eat it all but I wanted to. G - our extremely pleasant server - recommended a great lime infused brew that was refreshing and exactly what I was looking for. The owner came out to chat with customers - also very personable, as was the bartender. Great experience all around. First time here, and it is a little dive bar we have passed many times. The bartender was the only one serving the restaurant, but she was friendly and fast. Ordered the garlic Parmesan wings and bat burger, and had it in about 10 minutes. They were both delicious! We will be back to eat more soon! read more

This is such a great spot! They have a nice outside seating area but it had been raining so we sat at a high top by the bar. They have a large selection of craft beers. Our server was so friendly. The bat cave is a bit gothy and probably better after dark but it was wonderful for a quick lunch.
