    Jagerschnitzle

Such a great gem in Sidney. Reservations are highly recommended, as space is limited. There is a rotating menu each week with three delicious dishes to choose from, as well as appetizers and desserts. The Jagerschnitzle was absolutely outstanding, perfectly breaded, and topped with a delicious mushroom sauce. The spatzel was pillowy and tender. But the real winner--the red cabbage--was phenomenal! I should also note that the potato pancake appetizer this week was also worthy of a mention. This place is run by a mother-daughter duo who greets you with so much warmth, from walking into the restaurant to cooking and serving your meal. I can't wait to come home to visit again and come to Bavaria!

As German's would say, lecker. Wonderful and authentic. The menu changes weekly and we had one of everything on the menu. We will definitely go back the next time we're up here.

We were heading home from a long ride and located this gem with Yelp! Amazing little place!!! We were very lucky to arrive before the regulars as pretty much all the tables were reserved. Just the cutest little place.... warm and cozy. I overheard that they are trying to create an outdoor eating area as well. The food was amazing and plentiful. Sorry I have no pictures but we ate everything so quickly lol. I will say that the potato pancakes were the best I've ever had!!! We live about a ways away but hope to come back again!

Best german food I ever had and I've been to many german restaurants in my travels.had potato pancakes apps then this pork loin with mushroom gravy so tasty so tender and the red cabbage and spatzle were delicious. I am so glad I got to have dinner there before there holidays vacation and I will go back soon as there open again, and most of all the owner and her daughter were very pleasant and nice to talk to.

Quaint little German restaurant. Family-owned and family operated. They make you feel like you're eating at their house, and the meals were great and reasonably priced. I'll be back again.

We were greeted with warm smiles and an outstanding Golestan cocktail that I would highly recommend. Moving upstairs Cordelia presented each wine in great detail describing its origin and why it was coupled with the corresponding course. Evidently this was the first time the chef had prepared a Persian meal which was truly outstanding, authentic in taste, textures and presentation, the service and attention to detail was first class, thanks to everyone at Jagerberg for a delightful and memorable experience.

Ive been to Germany a few times and can say this is authentic. The chicken schnitzel with jager sauce is so flavorful and rich. The jager sauce is a dark brown mushroom sauce (similar to a Marsala). The name jager means huntsman. Substituted the seasonal vegetable (carrot and asparagus) for the cabbage which was so delicious. The meal is hearty and rich. The staff was wonderful. The Apple strudel was one of the best desserts I've ever had with cinnamon ice cream. I can only imagine how cozy this place is during the fall and winter. Absolutely worth the price.
