Despite a few glitches with our order and an almost empty dining room, I still liked the overall vibe of this place. The location overlooking a bit of the golf course and the waterway was so pretty and peaceful. As we were pulling into a parking spot, we saw a group of iguanas sunbathing and some ducks and Egyptian geese enjoying the front pond. On the way out, a golfer was practicing on the mini putting green in front of the entrance. There were a lot of guys -- golfers? -- enjoying adult libations in the bar. And that kept the two servers busy. We were in the dining room next door and there was only one other party dining in for a late lunch. They have a lunch menu, drinks menu, and regular menu. We both ordered specials from the lunch menu. My husband got the "pick two". There were a number of possible combos, but he chose a turkey sandwich and chili soup. He asked for no lettuce on the sandwich but yes to the tomato, onion, and mayo. When his food came, the turkey sandwich was plain with mayo on the side. No onion and no tomato! He'd also requested just the chili -- no additions. But they still gave him grated cheese and onions for his chili. I got their lunch special of grilled chicken sliders. I asked for no lettuce and no mayo on the sandwiches. It did come with bacon and avocado and cheese on the two grilled chicken sliders -- that part was okay -- but had mayo in the buns and yes, lettuce. The kitchen certainly was NOT paying attention to the order!! For drinks, my husband had a glass of Oyster bay Sauvignon Blanc. It was reasonably priced and was a nice pour. I just got one Diet Coke. When our bill came, they'd charged us for two drinks each -- an additional $12.50! Which after we pointed it out, they corrected. So our order wasn't right and they over billed us. And usually that would/should have changed my Yelp rating. But the venue was so laid back and comfortable and the view so pretty that I was willing to overlook the glitches. When it is a nice afternoon outside, this is a very nice place to have lunch. The vibe is golfing and people watching while eating outside with good food. We started with the fish dip which was creamy and good but definitely not house made. The Cuban Sandwich was pretty loaded with fresh meats and cheese and well pressed. It comes with no side dish but the rice and beans go well. Beans came out of a can for sure. The Stuffed Avocado appetizer was fresh and included 4 large slices of avocado but it was very weird that they didnt take the avocado out of the shell/skin. I also couldn't taste the aoli dressing so I asked for some ranch which went well with the feta cheese and corn. I liked the little bit of grilled flavor in the corn. Our service was at best average as we never really saw her after ordering food so tea and water never got refilled and the kitchen was very slow to send out our food. The ambiance along the Intracoastal is undeniably nice--calm waters, gentle breezes, and a view that could almost make you forget you're in a rundown golf course. Almost. But good luck getting a drink if you're not part of the inner circle. The female bartenders spend more time laughing and chatting with their friends than serving actual customers. If you're not a regular, you're invisible. I stood at the bar for nearly 20 minutes while staff ignored me completely, pouring drinks only for the locals they clearly knew by name. The bathrooms? Disgusting. Filthy, neglected, and reeking of neglect--like they haven't been properly cleaned in weeks. And the crowd? Let's just say it attracts a rough element. Riff-raff isn't too strong a term for some of the characters loitering around, giving the whole place a sketchy, unsafe vibe. Honestly, this eyesore should be torn down. With the new Jack Nicklaus Golf Course proposal in the works, it's time to clear out this outdated relic and make way for something that actually benefits the community. The Beach Club is one of my favorite local gems--perfect for playing golf, hanging out, and dining. I absolutely love relaxing in the clubhouse, which offers a stunning view of both the beautiful course and the Intracoastal. It creates such a laid-back, chill vibe. The staff is always incredibly friendly and easy to chat with, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food--consistently excellent. My go-to is the grilled avocado with blackened chicken... absolutely amazing! We also tried the turkey club, and I can honestly say it was perfectly stacked. On my latest visit to the Beach Club, I sat in the northernmost table on the back porch, which gave us a lovely view of the Intracoastal waterway, which is not blocked by trees in this part. People don't seem to hit balls through this narrow strip, so I let me kids go a little wild climbing and running around this area as well as stand in the empty outdoor bar area adjacent to our table. There weren't very many people dining at all, and no others in the section we were in, so it seemed ok. In turn, this visit has spoiled my kids forever and I may never be able to take them out anywhere else again LOL! The staff was super kind, chipper, happy-seeming. My kids loved the french fries that came with their kids menu items, and my son ate every last morsel of the cheeseburger sliders. So great to watch the waterway and see birds, fish, and boats. I ordered the gorgonzola salad and it was good; I would definitely order again but use less salad dressing on it. Besides the cheese, it had dried cranberries and candied pecans, and it was a generous portion with different textures in it. Apple tart with ice cream and whipped cream - definitely tasty, though it could use more apples, less syrup and a crispier finish to the tart. Didn't try the key lime pies but more than 1 person at the table found the taste too tart and the crust a little off. I appreciate that we could sit wherever we wanted to, even if it was not close to other diners. I live so near the Golf Course but had never been to the restaurant. Have now been twice in a week, met a friend for lunch on Saturday, we sat outside overlooking the golf course and Intercoastal. It was lovely, the staff were attentive and helpful. I had blackened chicken and Gorgonzola salad, it was very tasty and thoroughly enjoyed it! Went back on Tuesday night, with an out of town friend, it was wonderful! Another wonderful waiter, couldn't have been nicer, nothing was too much trouble. It was Taco Tuesday $5 Margaritas and Tacos $2-$3 range. My husband had fish and chips which he loved and I had tacos which were delicious our friend had a beef sandwich and took half home with him. The menu had everything we wanted- sandwiches, salads, soups, seafood, tacos, etc. I decided on the smoked fish dip and the Gorgonzola salad with chicken. My husband had the lobster bisque and the steak tacos. The lobster bisque was 10!!! It's the best we've ever had. The smoked fish dip was a huge portion. It's really for two people to split as an appetizer. So I ended up making that my meal and not ordering the salad. But it was very good. My husband said his steak tacos were ok. The meat could have had more flavor to it. They offer plenty of sides to have with the tacos. He decided on tator tots. Our waitress, Shannon was wonderful! It was too windy to eat outside but the view was beautiful. The only issue we had was it was VERY cold inside! The Beach Club has seen better days and the decor is long outdated and it's not just a matter of aesthetics or design and this will be evident if you have the misfortune of going to the men's room. Whoa! This is like gas station bad. Due to the heat we ate indoors - and beside no one bothered to come over to us while we were outdoors so it was also by default. The waitress was excellent and she was the best part of The Beach Club. The menu is limited and we chose a chicken item and unfortunately this was terrible. Looking for a new Sunday Lunch place TBC was recommended by a shop owner. Great setting, it doesn't look like much when you drive into the parking lot, but it's nicer than that. Since this is "off season" it was not jammed. The bar was busy but there was outside seating and we did find a table that was shaded (It's 94 today, summer in S FL!!! ..but NO Snowbirds) Food was just OK, Fish and chips (need a ramp up on the chips) and a Shrimp Caesar salad.... I go to this restaurant about once a month. It's a nice little place to hangout by the water and have a relaxing evening. The food is what you'd expect from a sports bar type place and the staff is always friendly. However, I believe they are understaffed or there's something else going on because it's always tricky getting what you ask for. For example, we ask for extra little plates for the appetizers and usually end up having to ask multiple times. I wasn't angry doing this because I saw there was only one server handling a fairly loaded restaurant. He obviously had a lot of orders and requests to fill and kept forgetting our plates. This has happened just about every time we've gone there. My only second complaint is that they do not accommodate GLUTEN FREE well at all. My friend who cannot eat gluten asked for chili because on Uber eats it says it's gluten free. The waiter went and asked the chef, came back and told us the chef said it isn't gluten free. Her ONLY option was to get the mahi mahi with the veggies. Not an ideal meal for many people. Overall, it's a nice little place to grab dinner. Get there and our table is in full Sun, they won't give us another table cause they have reservations-but so did we do WTF?! We had to sit inside. Service was terrible- waitress never came back to table after she cleaned our table from spilling drinks all over the table. Mimosa was terrible- tasted like cook's or Andre- never got a refill even. Buffett food was average at best and not a great selection. Fruit was all unripe and the hot food was stiff from sitting for too long. Overall experience was so disappointing. We will never be back. It's better late than never, right? ;) The drive there is normally out of our comfort zone and it was somewhere different for a change. It was a fun family dinner night out and will go again at some point..lol! The restaurant is nice and a little outdated. It's located right next to the Lake Worth beach and they have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside for the dinner and went outside afterwards for the kids's entertainment. There's a bar inside and outside, so you don't have to move back and forth to get the happy hour on. The menu is decent and offers a selection of different cuisines to choose from. I went for the Cuban sandwich with rice and beans. It was moist and superb. The flavors went well together and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. My husband raved the mini burger sliders and our kids took advantage of the FREE kids buffet they offer there on Friday nights. It has chicken nuggets, pizza, fries, and juices to eat and drink. Plus, they have a bounce house and live music playing at the outside area to dance and listen to. The service was good and our waiter was friendly. The kids were able to get something off of the buffet while we waited for our food to come out. It took a while to get our bill and I had to have the hostess get our waiter to close it out to bring it to us after waiting for a while. He probably was waiting on another section and became busy. I don't even think he apologize for it either. On another note, the bathrooms could be updated a little more since they don't have changing tables in there. I don't think a lot of parents are fond that they have to change their kids standing up if they don't stay still while doing so. This place needs some serious help. The person who greeted us was off the clock and the only person who helped us for the first twenty minutes. Many mistakes were made by our actual waitress who it seemed was physically here but her mind of lack there of was elsewhere. So I mean if the service is bad maybe the food will be great to make up for that aspect. No it was not. Worst French onion soup I ever had. I don't think I have ever had bad French onion soup before. They used two pieces of regular bread un toasted. Soup itself was horrible. Tacos were okay but they only had four ingredients so kind of hard to screw up. The more expensive shrimp ones have only two shrimp in them so I would either do chicken, beef, or pork. The queso was subpar like something that you get from a can or jar, and the included chips felt stale. The room we were in was mostly empty except for two other people. I can't imagine why that is. This was my first and last time I will be dining here. Honestly I have better food at Taco Bell. I would skip this place it's not worth it. Reservation was made for a birthday on the patio; arrived and didn't have a table for us... owner saying he didn't have our reservation, people just sit down outside and the patio is full so there's nothing they can do.... I want to say that the other staff was great, assuring us that they did have our resv and would help, but owner was soo rude and unaccommodating, making comments about our children (pissed we brought kids to a restaurant which is extremely kid friendly, normally) and genuinely angry at us that we had a party of 15. We stood outside for almost 40 mins before a table was brought over to the side, and by 7:20pm (resv at 6:20) we still had not even been given waters. Being part of the golf course in Lake Worth, The Beach Club does have the benefit of giving golfers the opportunity for enjoying a drink and a hot dog after playing, and those who just want to enjoy the intercoastal view whether at the bar or on the outdoor patio. Granted, I'm only basing this review on brunch, which will not leave you hungry, and for the price isn't bad. The iced coffee are also ok. However, if you are comparing to other places in downtown Lake Worth or on Dixie Highway into West Palm Beach or south in Lantana, you could find other options. But part of the selling point of The Beach Point is the view, which is quite lovely and worth going -- especially, if you are planning on playing a round of golf on the course. read more

Well, I was very disappointed today. We arrived at 7 pm. Had called to let them know we'd have 10 people. There wasn't anything ready for us, but they did get it ready quickly for us. We chose to sit outside but the temperature quickly dropped so we moved inside. They accommodated the move easily. (TOO EASILY AS THEY WEREN'T BUSY.) The food was good WHEN WE FINALLY GOT IT ... AN HOUR AND HALF AFTER WE ORDERED. The web site indicated tonight was buy one dinner get one free. NOT...due to Covid. I know it's not usual to charge tip for larger groups. Two of the tables for 4 were occupied by two people. The party of two after us was allowed to sit at a table for four. Hmmmm. How many reservations did they have? None while we were there. My chair had scrunched in French fries embedded in the seat which she watched me try to remove while asking for our drink order. We hadn't sat down yet!!!! How about a clean cha The grilled chicken Caesar looked like an iceberg lettuce sandwich with a few morsels of chicken thrown in. The bottled beer was nice and cold. If you don't like rowdy kid's running around do NOT go on a Friday night because it's kid's night. Our server, Jade, was great. It is shocking to find this place at the end of 7th street in Lake Worth on the Intracoastal. A friend had recommended it for the wings so we decided to try it. The wings were good sized and tasty. They only come one way.. with hot sauce which I got on the side because I am a wimp when it comes to spice. It comes with carrots and celery and blue cheese but we swapped for ranch dressing which was nothing great (bottled variety) We also had the loaded tater tots. The portion was huge. They came without scallions or sour cream and when we asked the server where the scallions were she returned and said they had run ot of them. I think they would be better if they had them. The food is always very good. The grilled avocado appetizer is very tasty! And,... the Moist, flaky Mahi Mahi sandwich is delicious. A very wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, wraps and dinner plates. Plus, a full bar! The inside bar has a pool table and 5 tv screens. Plus inside dining which is too noisy. After dining on the patio/deck, enjoying a Mahi Mahi sandwich and several Bloody Mary's later, I'd say it's more than a 5 star rating; delivering a true coastal off-the-beaten path experience. We each got the blackened fish tacos and rice and beans. The rice was still crunchy and the fish tacos were dry and didn't have the baja sauce that was listed on the menu. If they had the sauce or even lime juice to put on it, maybe that would have made it a little better? Either way it was the worst meal of our vacation. One of our favorite places in lake worth. Great views and good food. The French dip sandwich was ordered twice by a visiting friend, he loved it. Thai curry was wonderful and the avocado appetizer with shrimp delicious. Service is a bit slow but our waiter, Mike, made up for it with frequent trips to the table and good conversation.
