The food was delicious. In order of best/must try: Drink: Bloody Mary: homemade tomato juice and the hint of horseradish was perfection. Food: 1) crab Benedict- crab stuffed cakes with perfectly cooked eggs. The hollandaise sauce was delicious. 2) filet + eggs + grits. The perfect amount of grits that were creamy and delicious. The steak was super tender and eggs, again, cooked perfectly. 3) BLTA salad was super refreshing 4) Chicken + waffle -- it was okay. But take the chicken and add it to the salad-- and that was the perfect combo. Dessert: The Mud Pie was the perfect way to end the meal-- though thoroughly stuffed-- it was a top 5 of mud pies! The environment is super clean, service across the board is excellent and perfect Palm Beach vibes.

Just rushed, few word exchanges with the server. Little slower pace, and little engagement with the family and instant five stars.

Absolutely delicious, the pretzel was very light and the bear cheese had so much flavor to it. Three of us got burgers that were absolutely mouthwatering you bite into it and you went. oh yes, one bite burger!! This is the place to go. My girlfriend got a grilled chicken sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and the chicken she said was seasoned perfectly. Our waitress immediately brought us water and was able to take all of our orders all the food and drinks came out super fast. I did ask for my salad dressing on the side which wasn't done which is why I'm taking off one star but that's ok. It did end up getting a bit loud once we were about to head out around 9PM so we couldn't hear each other but definitely more people started to come in. All in all we all paid about $30 each for this special which is not bad at all since it included a drink and very good portion sizes. That blackened chicken was divine and so flavorful!

Really cool atmosphere, very "Palm Beach" (dress up, wear something cute for lunch!), great people watching (both in the restaurant and at the pool), and very lively atmosphere!! Service was FUN, we loved our waitress Marie, and she made the entire brunch awesome for our entire party. The Colony Hotel is pink and beautiful, and is worth a walk through on your way in or out. Even the gift shop makes for some fun shopping! For brunch our table ordered the jalapeño and cheddar cornbread muffins (with honey butter), yellowfin tuna tartare, cereal crusted French toast (with caramelized banana and pecan maple syrup), burrata di bufala and prosciutto, and the "grilled chicken darling stack" (sandwich). The burrata and 36-month aged prosciutto was the best I've ever had. The burrata was rich and creamy, the prosciutto was packed with flavor (that went well with the pistachio, cherry tomatoes, and basil vinaigrette). The chicken stack came with grilled chicken, pepperjack, bacon, avocado, truffle ranch, and fried onions on ciabatta bread. All the ingredients were so fresh and eat bite was packed with flavor (no wonder it's a staple on the menu). Every single menu item was 10/10. All fresh, bright flavors- and although a little pricey, I felt it was worth it for the quality of all of the ingredients. Can't wait to go back soon (reservations are a must!!)!

We came straight from the Palm Beach Zoo and so our cold crisp beers and Espresso Martinis were soooo refreshing. We tried the Hummus Plate and Kung Pao Fried Cauliflower and loved them both. The hummus had feta cheese mixed in and thick toast, almost like a Texas toast, to accompany, plus salty green olives, . The cauliflower wasn't too sweet and had a good green dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of comfort food like options. For mains, we had the mini "Big" Brekkie (fried hard), Fish and Chips, and Mushroom Toast. They were good. The payment was a bit glitchy. We wanted to split the bill and my friend basically gave up trying to figure out how to pay with the table QR codes. I tried to change my wireless to the restaurant's after the "Confirm" payment button was non-responsive. Finally, our server let me pay with the station and my friend Zelle'd me half. There's extra vegetables in the dishes. The macaroni salad was to die for. The herbs were right on. The peas and rice were so tasty. I had to hold back from eating more and filling up. Complementary fried plantains were added to the order. The jerk chicken was incredibly tender and there was spicy sauce on the side, added to the chicken. We had not eaten oxtails before. Go figure! I ordered the $10 fried chicken lunch special with extra gravy, rice and peas, and macaroni salad and washed it down with a pineapple ginger juice. Baby... I was FULL full. The kind of full where your laptop starts looking optional. I was overworked, overfed, and ready to slam my laptop shut and resume life Monday morning. The food was so good and so filling that I didn't even eat dinner that night. I had a cup of tea and went straight to bed--peacefully and without regret. All jokes aside, the food is excellent. Authentic Caribbean cooking, fresh, flavorful, and made with love--the kind that tastes like your Caribbean mother or grandmother cooked it herself. The food is baseline for a diner. It's nothing special, but it is mostly acceptable and the ambience truly does all of the heavy lifting for this restaurant. The last three times I went the service is just despicable really. You look around and most people have their food and there's maybe two or three tables that need to either order or still receive their food and you sit there and you don't even get a drink order taken for literally 15 minutes which was my experience the last time I went, we were sat by the hostess, who quickly returned to the host stand to just stand there, and we waited for our waitress to get our drink order and it took over 15 minutes for anyone to come, and the only reason they came is because we got up and asked if we were going to get seen by anyone. And being that the service was so incredibly slow and lackadaisical the last few times I timed how long it took for me to get my food and it took 47 minutes for them to deliver a turkey club and a Philly. And the time before the most recent time I was there for breakfast and it took them over an hour to bring the food out, and they did NOTHING about it. Which really was the most shocking part I am in the Restaurant industry myself and there are things that are objectively right and there are things that are objectively wrong and something wrong happened and they had nothing to say for it except sorry. The poor young guy behind the counter on the way out was throwing himself under the bus as if the whole Restuarant is on his shoulders meanwhile our waitress had nothing to say drop the check off and just moved on in spite of the fact that I took the time to communicate that I was very disappointed by the extremely long wait time and the club I had on this occasion had rotten tomatoes in it that I couldn't even remove from my sandwich because they were basically mush but it's kind of like the perfect situation for them because I'm so hungry at this point after waiting so long that I do my best to remove it and my waitress is nowhere to be seen so it's not like she's gonna hear about it until she drops the check off. So basically long story short if you're in the market for mediocre food, extremely slow service and a somewhat interesting ambience and you have about three hours on your hands Howleys is the spot for you! I'm all down for the hipster vibes and I know subculture tends to lean on that but I think that they really gotta understand that they're not too cool to care about giving good service and and checking that their produce is fresh. It's such a great location and if they can't run this restaurant the way it should be maybe they should consider selling it to somebody who cares more. Having mini golf out front doesn't make up for the fact that you need to take care of people. Also, don't look in the spout of the creamer tin... Yelp I guess likes pictures so pictured below is the root beer float that took 30 minutes to come after we finished eating. I come here all the time and I really wish they would just do better. I literally just come for the ambience, but imagine if this place actually ran well and you didn't have to suffer waiting or picking at your food! Think about it! Also if you're the manager I don't need your phone number or some kind of vip service next time I go! I just need regular good service! The kind that every customer should go in there and be able to expect!
