We were going back to the cruise terminal and saw this place on the pier area when we went out. We were starving when we stopped in for a cold beer and a snack. Unfortunately the server told us that they were not serving food at the present time. The company who was cooking and serving quit on them and they have no alternative for the time being. Our server was very nice and we noticed that she was working very hard trying to serve everyone in there and cleaning as she went. My gosh, they have a gold mine of a location and need to step up their game to find food options for their customers. Of course, we could eat all we want on the cruise ship but we were enjoying our time off of the ship. The atmosphere was nice but it goes to waste with no food. My gosh, take control and don't count on others to meet your customers needs. Even if you just have one guy on a grill outside cooking up some burgers and dogs and just have some bags of chips for a side. That would do wonders to get you started. If we're coming in for a beer great but if there are no food options, I would not come back. read more

Stopped by the Beach House on a Saturday evening, the same day as the International Marketplace night market. Relatively empty when we went. They have a pretty good drink deal for 1 shot and 1 beer for $10. Unfortunately, there were a few options that were unavailable, but it did not affect as we were still able to have a good time! The only downside, I had asked for a mule, but the bartender must have misheard me and made some sort of spiked tea (which was still ok), just paid a few extra dollars. I didn't notice until he was halfway done making the drink once he started mixing different alcohols haha. They have a few TVs, dance floor, pool table, and darts. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Bathrooms on site. A few tables that seem to be reservable. General vibe is geared towards an older crowd. Looks like they have $10 covers for Saturday nights. I' m not sure how the food is here, this review is just based on simple customer service and my experience. There are nine of us here on vacation. This place was recommended because of the view of the bay, not b because of their food. Six of us walked in and asked for a table for nine. The manager (or owner) said they couldn't seat us until our whole party was there. Totally understandable even though the restaurant was empty. We were sitting off to the side waiting for the rest of our party who was on their way and would be there within minutes. A few of us decided to go to the bar and get a drink while we were waiting. The manager followed us to the bar and told the bartender we were waiting for a table. At that point, the bartender said she couldn't serve us until we were at a table. But the attitude of the staff was so negative right from the start. Keep in mind, there wasn't anyone sitting at the bar and the restaurant was not busy. Maybe it was 20% full. We decided to leave and go elsewhere based on their policies and attitudes. But the reason I gave them this review is because as we were driving away, I turned back and saw one of the servers waiving goodbye to us. That was the icing on the cake. The dance floor was open and they had a comedy show which you had to prepay, $15. Everyone had to wear masks on the dance floor but everyone was still having a great time. We get all excited because it's loud and they are playing great music. I believe the DJ's name was Rick Ross. We get to the door, the girl says $10 cover charge and need to show vax card or negative Covid test. Our whole group was vaxed. So done deal. We walk in kinda dancing towards the bar and order our drinks. We see our other party already sitting down at the high top tables outside. We sit, order the same food we got last time and it's still delicious. Now this is where the night starts to get shitty! We've been sitting for about 15 minutes. The DJ told us to come on the little dance floor and dance. We decided to just dance by our table instead. A great song came on and our friend got out of his seat and started dancing by his chair. Immediately after, our waitress came over and said, sorry guys there is no dancing and you can't get out of your seat unless you are using the bathroom! Wait....wtf....! She was very polite and we knew her "boss" was telling her this! So we asked her why didn't the girl tell us this before we paid! We would HAVE NEVER come into this place had we known we couldn't dance or move!! We Get it mandates, and blah blah but why not tell your customers the rules before they come in!! That's complete false advertisement. There was a big boat docking next to the restaurant. The music was playing and it was attracting the crowd. You can tell they were excited because they all went straight to the door to come in. They had a big crowd going towards the bar then some sat at tables and others started dancing. They were shut down immediately. Soon after, people started leaving because the restrictions that weren't given to them. I told the waitress she needs to inform the girl at the door. Our friend got up from his chair again instinctively when another good song came on. That's when the jerk off bartender lost his shit. We asked him why no one told us before we paid $10 dollars that we couldn't move from our seats unless we were using the bathroom. He just kept saying they (meaning him) make the rules not us. A friend suggested that we meet at Nashville Waikiki, which is actually located in aloha tower. It was a Tuesday night, which is a work night, so it was a bit sparse. It's a small bar, so they only had 2 pool tables, which were all taken. As we sat listening to country or older music to a live singer, the flyer says happy hour $4 -$6 drinks, then on the second line, pupus and something else until 8pm (I should have taken a picture of it), but, it was misleading because the food wasn't included in the happy hour prices. We decided to order the pupus anyway even if it was a bit expensive, but it was pretty worth it. Guava Jelly St. Louis ribs - 5 stars - for $13, they know how to make this - fall off the bone, meaty ribs in a strong sweet bbq sauce. Best I've eaten in Hawaii, and equivalent to a half rack. Beef skewers - 4 stars - for $12 they serve 6 skewers of tender beef marinated in teriyaki sauce. Korean inspired garlic chicken - 4 stars for the price of $12, bc there weren't many pieces, but 5 stars for the flavor and crunchiness. They know how to flavor their meats so it's bold, but not salty. Nachos - 3 stars - for $13, they serve the garnishings separate from the chips to keep it crispy. To me, it wasn't worth buying in comparison to the awesome meat pupus. Signature cocktail - 4 stars - I used the yelp check-in coupon to get a drink for $3, but this is not a basic drink, so was $4. The coupon doesn't pop-up when I checked in yelp, but they awarded it when I showed them it wasn't working. The cocktail was fruity and weak, but I had to work the next day, so it was ok. Service - 4 stars - the waitress couldn't answer my basic questions about what was in included in happy hour or what time it ended bc she said she was new but the bartender did. She did check on us time to time, and there is free karaoke on tuesdays after 8:30pm. Parking is free the 1st hour, then $2 every hour thereafter with validation. They told me parking at Amfac is better if we stay longer than 3 hours bc it's a flat rate, or parking after 6pm on the street is free, if you can find any. read more

Warning: Do not run a tab at the bar. You'll get ripped off! On November 20, 2021, I went to The Beach House. The service was slow due to being short staffed so I went to the bar to purchase three drinks. I decided to run a tab since it was still early in the night. Ends up I didn't order anything else. I went to close my tab about an hour later. I was in shock at my bill, $89.00!! I attempted to have the bill corrected, but the bartender, Katie refused to fix it. She asked me to pay it and assured me that if I called the next day a manager would refund my money. After numerous phone calls, texts, visits, and written messages left, I have not received a refund or even a call back from the manager, Cody. Been here twice now for the music and dance floor. I had a great first impression and a somewhat sour second go. My take is that The Beach House is pretty middle of road. The dance floor is pretty good, there's a lot of space and it's a pretty good surface. There's also lots of space off of the floor for those who want to chill, drink, and just be out. This means those who want to dance aren't jammed into the same space as those who don't! The music is usually alright, though sometimes great! It varies from DJ to DJ, though I've noticed a pretty heavy focus on hip hop and R&B. As far as throwbacks go, there's a ton of good music to choose from, but there's a ton more being missed. The staff is all over the place. Some of the DJs and Staff are a blast. Some are only cordial if you're sending money their way! And some are downright stonefaced. YMMV. Overall I'd say check it out if you're looking for a standard bar experience with some space to shuffle to hip hop beats after a few overpriced drinks loosen you up. If you're looking for a real party though, or a more engaged and inviting venue and crowd then I'd look elsewhere! read more

The place was empty, smells like Fabuloso but definitely NOT clean as my bathroom pics demonstrate. Bartender was chatty with a couple other customers and we overheard that the manager only comes in once a week, that explains a lot. Signage posted that beers are 4 for $20, but when we got the check that was not so. We asked the bartender and were told that is only true if you ask for a bucket. Shady as hell! There really aren't great smoked bbq places on the island that make it really good. And when you are craving for that smoked bbq flavor you either have to find someone with a smoker...or deal with what we have. Not anymore! Nashville Waikiki has some pretty good bbq! I was transported back to San Antonio with one bite. Customer Service: You know there wait staff is good when they hear your order walk off and remember who got what. mindblown! The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. We were here for the cookie swap and ordered food while we waited to try cookies. After ordering, I thought it would take some time for the food to come out. I was surprised to have it all waiting while I mingled by the cookies. Speedy! Ambience: There is a dance floor, darts, a bar area and all with the view of Aloha Tower marina. Great place to watch the game and have beer with the boys! Food: Food was great! I haven't had a good brisket in a long time. I loved the shredded pork and the sides. I saw a nearby table with a killer plate of nachos. I can't wait to try those in the future. This country music bar used to be in Waikiki and now it is located at Aloha Tower. This place was, to my surprise, quite busy. You see lots of people dancing and they also do free country dance lessons on the floor, which is kinda fun to watch. People who come here are military Caucasian only. I think my firends and I were the only ones who were not, and I almost couldn't believe this was Hawaii....thus called Nashville Waikiki lol. Our server was very attentive and friendly. And their bar was actually really neat too. But since I don't really care for country music and the crowds are really skewed, I don't think I will go back. I hardly go to the Aloha Tower. Haven't been since I came back to the islands some years ago now. But now, an event was taking place here and I welcomed the chance to rekindle my familiarization of the area. I was dreading the parking situation because the last time I had to break an arm and a leg to get out. I could've parked at Municipal parking across the street. It was a Sunday, metered parking is also free around Chinatown. The walk would have been nice. Unfortunately, I was running a tad late and decided to bite the bullet. In I went grabbing the parking ticket. Walking into the Aloha Tower I was flooded with the memories and history of. Readiing about the Boat Days how people got off work early just to greet and celebrate the travelers disembarking the large boats onto the islands. They were large community events back then. A ghost of the past now as I walk the cold stone steps within. So quiet now. After walking around a bit, we found Nashville right across Hooters on the 1st floor. As I approach the noise level is rising. On one side it's Hooters. On the otherside, I'm hearing the country songs kicked up notch ready for some hootin' and hollerin' Nashville style. This was my first time here and liked it as i came in. Large long bar on the right with 3 screens above. Interesting, a Black Jack table to my left. Tempting, but no. I was on a mission to find the cookie monster and could not take any pleasures at this time. hahaha Took a big table for six sharing with some wharf rats I ran into there. Why not. Looking over the drink menu decided on the Hawaiian Leg Spreader. Used my Yelp check in to get $3.00 off that became a deal. I was happy with the drink. Then I tried a bottled beer, Fire Rock because I like it. Enjoyed it while chit chatting away admiring the surrounding view inside the bar and outside of the spectacular harbor view. They were handing discount cards. Be sure to ask for those and get what you can. $3 off your next visit, $5 off Ladie's night. I did not partake of any food because I was still full from lunch. However, I saw several orders of nachos. They were huge and looked amazingly delicious. I did manage to taste some, thanks to Romeo, and they were as good as they look. Yummy. Although service was attentive, didn't feel any joy joy. Just the usual I'm here to get a paycheck no need to personalize the service. Maybe that's how they do it in the south or what ever parts from. What can I say, it ain't Hawaii. With that said, I can overlook it and understand how life can be bearing at times. With some trepidation, I recommended this place to my friend. The reviews suggested it was hit-or-miss. There also seemed to be location confusion: Paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) Smoke House, located inside a bar called Nashville (Tennessee) Waikiki (back to Hawaii) serving BBQ (from Texas). Okay, then. Well, they delivered on this Monday at lunch. We did not experience any of the food, service, check, or other issues some Yelpers reported. My friend snarfed down her pulled pork sandwich on a Kaiser roll (you get to pick between two types of bread) with coleslaw ($10.99) I chose the Combo with brisket and ribs, and baked beans, corn on the cob, bread and butter pickle slices, and cornbread ($22.99). The meat came without sauce. We both had soda ($3 each) which was refilled multiple times at no additional cost. The generous portion of brisket was tender and flavorful, good with or without sauce. There's a mild and a Kilauea hot BBQ sauce.) found the taste of the ribs to be a bit odd, but I think this was an anomaly. The meat did not fall off the bone but I could pull it off easily with a plastic fork. (No real cutlery or plates here.) The heap of beans was moist and had a tiny kick of heat. The cornbread muffin was warm and soft and a little sweet, just the way I like it. Even the small cob of corn was good - dusted with pepper, it was fresh, not all shriveled up from being frozen and/or swimming laps all day in a container of hot water. It took a little while to get our food, but I took that as a good sign. (No microwaves, food prepared as ordered.) We were the first ones to request food and I noticed those who came after us got their food more quickly. Like Alice, I found something to be curiouser and curiouser: No poultry anywhere on the menu. Chicken is usually a staple. Just brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, or sausage here. I wanted to ask the chef why no chicken but didn't get the chance. Vegetarians will not find much joy here, although they could cobble together a few side dishes to tide them over. Validated parking in front. Even with validation, parking still cost $2, perhaps because we were there for 2 hours. Buses 55, 56, 57, 57A heading to Ala Moana from downtown. Aloha Tower and the restaurant are fully accessible. Walk through the center of Aloha Tower, and turn left halfway down. Entrance is right across from Hooters. You can also access the restaurant from harborside. Say hi and bye to Elvis, who resides permanently just outside the front door. There's a full bar and a dance floor. No A/C, only ceiling fans. Lots of TVs. It would be lovely to sit outside at sunset. If you are inside and the doors are closed, you won't be able to see outside because the bottom portion of the glass is frosted. Seating is drinking-oriented, not eating-oriented. Tall stools at the bar and at tables inside and out. There are tables with regular chairs, but they are large. The two of us sat at a table for ten. There might have been another section for seating but I didn't wander over to check it out. The restroom was clean. I will certainly be back the next time I crave American BBQ. read more

Nashville Waikiki was my favorite bar at its old location; I'm happy to say the new one is even better! Located in the new renovated Aloha Tower Marketplace, the business is the first one to open after HPU's development of the property. This area is perfect for nightlife. Already close to two other bar/restaurants, Nashville has the distinction of being the only bar with dancing and lots of games (pool and darts). Located on the Diamond Head side of the Mall, the entrance faces Hooters and is close to the Star of Honolulu dock. It would be very easy to get here via bus and the many tourist shuttles from Waikiki or downtown. Parking is also plentiful, although not free. This past weekend it was $5 flat payable on entry. The parking kiosk closes at 11:30, so entering after that time is free until closing at 2am. It's open from 11am to 2am daily. For people on cruises disembarking from the piers, this would be a fun place to dance and drink while staying close to the ship. The bar is much larger and more open than before. With very high ceilings, the place stays cool and airy as it's now on the ground floor with big open windows and doors. Lots of country-western decor lines the walls including plenty of mood lighting. Immediately inside the doors are three new pool tables. There is plenty of room for serious players and people just looking to have fun. A counter around the entire area makes it easy to find a place to put your drink, or just take a load off. The main bar area is standing room, high top tables, and the bar. The main bar lines the entire inner wall, so it's very easy to get service. Waitstaff also comes around frequently no matter where you are. The DJ booth is in the middle of the room, just off the large dance floor. Look for schedules of free dance classes if you really want learn. At the back of the joint is three dart boards separated from the main crowds, which is fantastic to not be interrupted nor hit anyone with a stray dart. Restrooms are at the very back; it's wonderful how large and clean they are as well. The last area worth note is the tables outside on the lanai; it's a great place to get some fresh air and cool down after dancing. The staff is always friendly. The clientele is always some of most welcoming of any nightlife in Honolulu. It's a great place to come drink, dance, or just the company of friends. read more

The old Nashville Waikiki has finally reopened in the Aloha Tower Marketplace right across from Hooters. Although my first visit there was a bit lackluster since it was early on in the reopening process, I was very pleased with my most recent visit. The bartenders and staff members are very friendly. The new dance floor is fantastic and usually it's not crowded at all. There are spacious areas for pool, poker, drinking, and dancing. They seem to have drink specials every night and there's no cover charge. There's parking in the main lot and the lots surrounding the marketplace. Motorcycles can park free in the main lot or the coned-off area in front of the main lot on busier nights. They still have a few kinks to work out in the coming months, but the bar is well on its way to becoming an Oahu fixture once again. read more

I went to Nashville Waikiki on Kuhio Avenue about a year ago with a friend and was really unimpressed. It was down a flight of stairs with no parking and service was less than mediocre. However, at their new location in Aloha Tower Marketplace, they are two huge parking lots that charge $5 for the entire evening. I arrived at Nashville Waikiki around 845 to meet a bunch of friends. It is an indoor/outdoor huge venue with pool tables, dart boards, a dance floor and a very chill outdoor area where you can mingle and not have to talk over the loud music inside. Our group met outside at a few high-top tables. Waitress service was pretty regular and friendly. There were $5 Maker's Mark and also $5 moonshine. I'm a whiskey drinker so the Maker's Mark was fantastic. However, the Moonshine seemed very weak by comparison. It's amusing that they still kept their name Nashville Waikiki even though we are now miles outside of Waikiki. But it's a great place to check out and hang out on a Saturday night. read more

What a cool spot! I usually go to the same places over and over so I was anxious to try somewhere I haven't been too. Happy hour prices are "ok" & they offer a good puppy menu. We were here for mostly drinks but but we ordered the bruschetta to pick on. The bruschetta was good and it was a good sized order for the price. They advertised the biggest Halloween party on the island so saying that you would think they would have more than 3 servers and maybe dancing but no you weren't even allowed to leave your table.....well it took an hour to get our first round of drinks and then another hour and a half to get our second round and you weren't allowed to order at the bar so we decided we were going to leave and that took over 45 minutes to get our tab closed and we went to the manager and asked if we could close our tab because we have been waiting a while and she was very rude and said you have to tell your server like we hadn't already and she wasn't even helping the staff that was working AWFUL management!!! read more

I went for a Latin night on a Thursday and from about 9pm to 1100pm it was a good vibe with dancing and places to sit. After about 1115pm it was so crowded that we waited more than 20 mins at the bar to get a drink. It was so crowded that you couldn't walk around without rubbing past at least 20 people. Drinks are decently priced. I would have way to validate tickets that isn't at the bar on those days because I was wanting to leave because the wait time at the bar but couldn't without validation that could only be received from the bar. There were only 3 bartenders for about 150 people. So I had to wait an additional amount of time to only get validation. read more

They rushed you and barely gave you time to order a drink, if you weren't fast enough talking you get skipped, and if you didn't tip they would call you out on it and skip you!! No tip then you wouldn't get served...The worst attitudes I've ever seen it was disgusting. Definitely need to drink before you come or drink in parking lot, and the place A/C wasn't great so it gets very hot on the dance floor, the place had good music and a nice crowd it sucks that the bartenders made it a bad experience for me and my friends. Aloha Sheri, Nashville will be changing names shortly and will no longer be a Country Bar. There are new owners. They are far from going under w/their new lease. It's a transition period. We are sorry you were disappointed. But, people must understand that this is a business decision. Country music is teh weakest market in Hawaii. The clientele is a pigeon holed crowd. It is very hard to play Country music 7 nights per week. We want to expand our clientele. We will be doing local bands and djs. We have a new kitchen staff as well. Ear Piercingly loud. Awful, seems unclean. Horrible customer service. The staff are incredibly rude and ignore you. The volume is so loud that the entire building shakes and the music is terrible. read more

Rusty the bartender is very friendly & is a hard worker. We ordered lemon pepper chicken wings it barley had meat on it & it was very dry. We also ordered coconut shrimp it was ok. read more

I loved the old Nashville's in Waikiki and I took me a while to check this place out because I don't like Aloha Towers parking lot. But, you can street park in Chinatown for free, at night, and just walk across Ala Moana Blvd and it's a really close walk. I love the music they play. Nice view and right on the water. The staff seems super nice and attentive. Doesn't have the same feel as the old Nashville's, at all, but its still really lively and fun! read more

Beach house would be a great "happening" spot. Unfortunately there is no food service, no kitchen service, no menu. You can bring in your own food and or order from neighboring eateries. However, not being able to have food directly from the establishment doesn't "feel" cohesive. Alcoholic beverage selections are ok but very minimal. This place would be a great place for pau hana time, and friendly gatherings with food, drink and entertainment.. read more

Caught the game this Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a barbecue lunch. Nashville Waikiki at the Aloha Tower Marketplace is on the waterfront, across from Hooters. It's a large, open sports bar type of space with a dance floor, dartboards, and flatscreen TVs. Validated parking + reasonable parking rates make it convenient enough. Waitress was very cool and friendly. She said that Happy Hour was until 8pm. However, nothing's on tap. We shared a few Paniolo Platters. I prefer the trinity of brisket, sausage, & ribs, but the standout here was the pulled-pork. Whole lotta sides to choose from. We got the beans, slaw, and yams (platters come with cornbread and pickles.) Good place to try out. read more
